I had a lovely stay at the Moxy! The room was very nice (the single bed was rather small), I loved the city view. Thank you Kimani for giving me such a nice room and for remembering my name until checkout! K :)
Just planned a short trip to NYC to celebrate my birthday staying at the Moxy Times Square. My expectations were huge once is such an important day. From checking in to checking out (and after!) I felt such an incredible experience and the service was no more than fabulous! Amazing structure, room cleaning just perfect, delicious food and the hotel crew… they are the best! The bar on the second floor is awesome if you want to chill and enjoy some beverage, food and music. The magic hour is just a spot you must go to fell what a party in NYC truly is. Would definitely come back!!!
I love to come here while I’m in town for business. Letty one of the managers here always makes my stay pleasant. I love her personality and hospitality. The staff are motivated to help customers. I will be coming back.
I traveled to NYC with my 11 and 13 year old boys. Upon arrival, we were treated amazingly well by everyone. All the staff are customer service oriented. The kids have enjoyed their stay. Top highlights: free coffee in the am, breakfast snacks to grab and go, fooseball table, hotel credit that pay for and actually get something out of, staff that accommodated our asks and went above and beyond, stash closet for things you might have forgotten. The location in Times Square is incredible - easy access to all the subway lines. The restaurant food is delicious and the bar staff are extremely attentive. Hotel rooms are small but we planned for that, Clean and perfect for our stay. Erick especially helped us out when we misplaced an item - checked a few times for us. Truly a great experience over 6 nights. Thank you so much for a great time!…
Hotel stay and service was excellent and staff was very courteous and friendly providing proper information for things to do around NYC. Rooms were just right size and very clean. Lounge area was very relaxing to hang out with friends and rooftop brunch was amazing.
Great location! The check in was smooth and had a great vibe. Well kept and lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby bar was awesome with great DJ, comfy sofas and the drinks were excellent. The rooms were clean with all amenities. We will Definitely stay again!
Check in experience - exceptional! Such a warm welcome and helpful guys. Room is exactly as described - small but has everything you need for a base in the big city. Would definitely recommend and expect to stay again!
We had the most amazing time for my best friend’s bachelorette party! Letty was so kind and generous, giving us extra Prosecco and balloons to celebrate! She made sure we were taken care of the whole night and right from the beginning she has been so accommodating! She genuinely made our time at Moxy extra special and we appreciated her hard work and enthusiasm! We can’t wait to come back!
I took my wife and I to NYC on 26 Feb until 4 March. Bar British Airways cancelling our flight with less than 24 hours notice (we were at the airport hotel in London when they cancelled) and the stress that caused we had a great time. Thankfully due to the frequency of flights from London to NYC we got to the hotel around 4 hours after we originally panned. Not the end of the world. We did have to get from Gatwick to Heathrow but that was easily solved. Broke 2 bottles of gin I bought in duty free in Heathrow at check in (gutted) but it wasn’t a problem for the super cool guy at check in. He got it cleaned up. The hotel was great, in a fabulous location close to the Subway, Macy’s, Times Square. Everything around here though is SOOO expensive. I guess the cost of living crisis is hitting America too. 2 drinks for you and your partner you’re talking around 40USD. In my home tome in Wales 2 drinks would cost £10, or around 12 USD! Just a McDonald’s breakfast nearby is around 25USD. Again would be about £12 in Wales. 6 days in NYC and I spent around £1500 on spending money alone. We took a trip to Brooklyn and food was cheaper there. If we come again we’d look for something outside of Manhattan to save money. But back to the hotel.. stayed in a basic room, but it was clean, small but comfortable. I did find the sirens etc outside being in NYC woke me up fairly early on, but that’s to be expected really, shower was powerful. If I was to stay in Manhattan again I’d stay here. Oh. And with booking with BA no destination fees which was a pleasant surprise. 300 usd security deposit but had that back the day after check out minus some drinks we bought in the bar. Overall a good experience, no complaints, just an expensive city. More expensive then London or Paris. Just keep that in mind if travelling from the U.K.. I spent way more than I expected to.…
My wife and I were overdue for a NYC visit with our six year-old and the Moxy was ideal in every way. The central location suited our tourist activities well and the hip decor made us feel cooler than we are. When our kid walked into the room and saw his bunk bed (above our queen) he was beyond excited, already claiming it was the best hotel he’d ever seen. We knew he would enjoy that, but what we didn’t expect was that the lobby staff - at a location with (smooth) self-check in - was among the friendliest we’ve encountered anywhere. Lettie and Stephen stood out, but everyone we crossed paths with was attentive and seemed genuinely interested in our having a good stay. One of my favorite moments of the weekend was sipping a delicious Old Fashioned in the cool 2nd floor lounge while the kid was occupied shooting hoops. Just a great stay and I can’t imagine better value at any Manhattan hotel. We’ll be back for sure!…
