Mind this is not my first time in NYC, this is my 4th trip and off course I LOVE NYC. But this time was not too happy, first I made the booking with Booking com for 5 people and two kids were 16 years old (big kids, not small kids) so they gave me a room with 2 full beds not even queen beds, booking com MISTAKE and mine for getting a non refundable reservation this was reserved back in Nov 2019, so I call the hotel and they did not care about the room for 5 people and also spoke to booking com and not help from any of both. So we had to go and we stayed this last weekend, we sleep very uncomfortable off course, but no other choice.
Room had enough room for our luggage, desk, beds and a chair.
Breakfast was great and Luis was also super helpful with us and everyone at the time of the breakfast and maintain the breakfast area well clean but Sunday and Monday the area was not very clean.
The room lady who made our room 204 from Jan 17-20 never put enough towels, I always had to ask for extra towels every night after all day walking.
Then the guy who works at night poor guy he was always bringing everything and first night sheet had blood, so he came to made our bed (sorry we did not get his name but he was from Jamaica) he was super nice guy too.
Front desk always helpful and fast respond all the time.
Location in my opinion was far from Times Square, about 10 blocks.
I did not take pics of the room but was a second floor not noise at all.
Hotel was clean and outside areas too.
I will not stay here again, only because it was dar from Times Square since I stayed before in that area. But hotel it is pretty good.
Metro station like 20 steps away from the hotel.

Our family was pleased with every aspect of this hotel. The customer service was fantastic. We checked in early at 10am, left our bags at the hotel and parked in the garage that the hotel utilizes (around the corner). We requested a late checkout the following day and were allowed to remain in our room until 12:30. We left our bags until 5 that evening. We paid $114 for two days of parking an SUV, which we didn't find outrageous for a secure garage in NYC. The hotel breakfast was typical of what you'd expect for a free continental breakfast. The staff kept it well-stocked. As other reviewers have remarked, it can take awhile to get an elevator during peak times, but our view of the Empire State Building from the 17th floor was well worth the wait for an elevator!

Never again will I stay at this hotel I would not mind paying a few bucks more at a better establishment. Good luck on catching the elevator, their isn’t a microwave in the rooms or dining area so good luck eating cold leftovers. The workers try their best but you can tell the management is lacking in work ethics and sanitation. I literally laid in a bed with old sheets that had the previous guests crumbs still on them and was not offered a refund or free night?!!! Ridiculous.

This hotel stands up to the Hilton standards, in line with my experience with Hampton inns elsewhere. The room wasn't big, but for NYC and price, good value. Place looks recently redone, with Nest thermostats, USB charging ports, no foul odors even in the small yet wide hallways.

This hotel is conveniently located a few blocks from time square and other popular sites in the city. The Metro station is a less than 30 yards from the front entrance, for easy travel other than UBER. The breakfast is okay, its free, what else is there to say?! The front staff is cool, in particular Saundra was my go to in the daytime as far as water, putting in a special clean order as I left hotel room, etc. Victor was cool as part of the Maintenance dept to hook you up on the remote controls and Jason was good on the booking rooms and views. Overall the rooms were good but small; this may be the norm but if you're from Texas, well...During the holidays it could be a bit crowded, day after Christmas and New Year's Eve. If you are a light sleeper it could be a bit noisy with all the horns, sirens, commercial vehicles, etc. It is truly the city that never sleeps.

+1
Traveled with family and friends for my sons 18th birthday. Can not fault this hotel at all. We were treated so so well by all the staff (Ryan could cheer up a bit!) Emmanuel and Jason were so welcoming as were the girls at the front desk, I appointment as I cant recall all of their names but I know one was something like Kadesha and she was the sweetest girl.
Louis made the children feel so welcome, giving them treats everyday he always came to find us and have little chat. He made our stay, it felt like home from home. The rooms were big by New York standards and very comfortable. We had an amazing view of the empire state building.
Breakfast was good but sometimes very busy however you could take food away to your room, which was great. The location is just simply perfect, easy to get to everything. I Slept really well here and we were at the front too.
Hot drinks and water available all day and night in the lobby and biscuits too. I really dont have a bad word to say. We had a hold deposit taken from our card at check-in and at check-out this was returned immediately to my account.
Staff were so so helpful and very sweet. We will most certainly be back.
Thank you everyone for making our trip such a lovely one. Love from England see you again. X

Excellent hotel just a short two minute stroll from Herald Square . Macys and a subway station on your door. This hotel is excellent value with complimentary breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is on the doorstep of everything you need to see in New York from Empire State, Rockfeller Centre, Times Square etc and with the subway on the doorstep everywhere is reachable. The staff always welcomed you back into the hotel after your day out and the complimentary cookies at five in the afternoon, if you were back were a lovely treat to go with the 24 hour day complimentary coffee / tea or hot chocolate. This hotel is definitely value for money with a very good choice of items for breakfast from freshly made waffles, hot food such as omelettes, bacon, potatoes and porridge (oatmeal) with bagels, bread, OJ and other juices also available as well as a selection of fresh fruits. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spotless. The Neutrogena toiletries in the bathroom were also very welcome. This is my second time to stay and I will be back again as this hotel cant be beaten for staff, quality, price , comfort and convenience. Thank you for making our stay one to remember.

The staff at the desk are wonderful and same at the breakfast. An older gentleman hands out cookies to all the kids every morning and it makes all of them so happy. I don’t like elevators so I asked for a low level room and they found me a room on the second floor so I can take the stairs. Room was very clean and is very comfortable. Location is amazing and the price with breakfast is fabulous. The breakfast is also pretty good with choices of fresh juices smoothies oatmeal waffles eggs yogurts bread pastries etc. I was impressed.

Pros:
This hotel is in a very good location, Herald Square subway station is only one minute walking, very clean, very good hot breakfast everyday (scramble, omelette, bacon, sausage, dry cereals, hot oatmeal, breads, fruits, juices, coffee, pastries, waffles, toppings, yogurts), comfortable bed and pillows, housekeeping every day (Debbie did an excellent cleanse work every day) . The room was not too big but of good size with mini refrigerator, safe box and the bathroom was spacious.
The staff:
Luis at the breakfast was exceptional and very friendly.
Reina at the front desk was very helpful and exceptional too.
Cons:
Only two very slowly elevators for 20 floors.
The staff:
The woman who did our check in was not very kind.
We asked for a higher room, she gestured with his face and sighed, first she answered that it were not ready, we waited and then she told us that she did not know when it would be ready because they had only one person for housekeeping, but then we saw assigned rooms on the higher floors and about 3-4 housekeeping in the elevator leaving one on each floor to clean. It should be noted that there are 20 floors with 4 rooms each one. She gave us a lower room anyway. My room was 803 from 01/17/2023 to 01/22/2023.
