Review your credit card charges at this hotel carefully if applicable. The hotel overcharged me and my wife on two different occasions for incidental charges. When the front desk was made aware of the discrepancies, they denied that it happened and said we could dispute...More
Almost within walking distance of the Canyon de Chelly (pro. “de Shay or de Shea”) this is a clean, friendly, safe hotel with an excellent restaurant, gift shop and pool. My stay was on August 20 and 21, 2018 and the weather was warm but...More
Not good enough for a Holiday Inn.You expect to stay in a nice Hitel, but this was the worsest hotel during our five weeks trip in the USA.The poolwater was green from algues, unhealthy for swimming. The Keurig coffeemaker was out of order. No complimentary breakfast as usual.Reception lady...More
From the start at the front desk this was just an average experience. The room was ok, beds were tired, TV small. It's an older remodeled property trying to look modern and fresh... but really not quite.More

I agree that the Holiday Inn was great in every aspect. Really nice property with rooms around a large grassy area. Room was all you could want with small patio. Very reasonable restaurant that featured a few local dishes, such as Navajo frybread and blue corn crusted trout that were nothing special but fine. Gift shop (but not open on weekends.) BW surrounds a parking lot and coffee shop. Guide told us Tbird was older but maybe he has relatives at HI ;) Honestly, we thought it was the most attractive Holiday Inn we've ever stayed at (IHG members) and interesting history (former trading post).
