Located in the Classic Theater District with a First Class Staff
Spotless hotel with a knowledgeable and very helpful staff.

Let me give front desk staff, Lauda and Grace a real "shout out" for the extra service and kindness is directing me to places of interest and calling me cabs as I lost my phone on a water cruise in the harbor - and I've learned first hand without a phone (while traveling) its almost as I didn't exist. Cant call Uber, cant access Google maps. etc etc.

Fortunately both stepped up Lauda and Grace got me squared away until I got to the Verizon Store..

Whew My trip would have been a whole lot less fun without their help.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of local site, pubs and sports bars.

The rooms are spotless and the staff adheres to mask protocols

Great location, good stay
This location was excellent for experiencing many of the historic sites in Boston. A short walk to Boston Common, and many great dining options within walking distance.
Overnight parking is a bit steep ($60/night). The valet and front desk staff were all pleasant to speak to, respectful and kind.
The room itself has one of the heaviest doors I've ever had to use in a hotel. Really takes some muscle! Despite this, the door didn't block the hallway sound, especially since we were right across from the ice maker.
The room was small but not unreasonable. The bed was comfortable, and there was a refrigerator, but it was awkwardly placed on the floor next to the desk. It stuck out from the space so was odd. There was no microwave, but a shared microwave near the ice maker. There was a desk and chair, as well as a couple of drawers. The closet was small, but had an ironing board and iron, as well as a luggage holder.
The bathroom was small, and had a sliding door, which we did not like at all. All sound was heard, which is not pleasant. There also was no exhaust fan. The slider into the shower was very narrow to enter. The water pressure was good, but it was very easy to get water everywhere in this bathroom.
There was a good amount of counter space for us to set our things, as well as an outlet for hair products. The TV was large and worked well for us.
There is no included breakfast, but there is breakfast offered onsite for a fee. We had the Saturday breakfast buffet for $26/person. We had custom made omelets, as well as waffles and bagels. Lots of options, with serving staff to bring beverages and anything else you may need. A little steep in the cost, but a good breakfast.
This was our first visit to Boston, and will probably be the last one we take driving on our own, so having the option to park and walk to places was welcome.

Great location, TINY room!
The lobby of this hotel was beautiful and it's right in the heart of the theater district. It was easy to walk to all of the tourist areas of Boston
Our "deluxe" room was clean but it overlooked a parking garage roof so no real view. It is the smallest hotel room I've ever had (including those in NYC). Our suitcases had to go in front of the desk which made it unusable. The small fridge was just randomly stuck on the floor. The bathroom was spacious and the room was really quiet.
For us it was fine as we spent most of our time outside of the room

NEVER AGAIN
What a disappointment ! From not being given the correct room and them doing nothing about it, to the room refridge sitting in the corner on the floor, to the teenager club next door pounding music until 2am, to a very unhelpful and not friendly staff, to asking the front desk man for directions to the nearest public transit so that we could catch a flight and being told to take an Uber.. to a location that couldn’t be placed further away from where you’d want to be unless you’re goal is to be in Chinatown,, this place is certainly the biggest Marriott disappointment I have ever experienced and may switch from a Marriott rewards customer to Hilton ! It was that bad. Talk about a bare bottoms room !

Great location and service
The location of this hotel is great to access Boston Common and downtown. Many restaurants are located within a 10 minute or less walk. The front desk staff, housekeeping, bartender, and other staff were very helpful and very friendly. Our room (Room 922) was next to the ice maker and microwave but we did not experience any noise issues from that or from other rooms. The rooms are on the smaller side but have extremely comfortable beds (although only double beds) and are very clean. We had a small fridge in our room which was nice to have for leftovers and drinks. The HVAC was very quiet and hardly noticed when the A/C or heat came on.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from south or street since they can be noisier. Request a high floor.

Great location
This hotel is in a great location, right across the street from the Garden and near public transit. The room was a decent size and was clean. My only complaint really was the room service, the food and drinks were practically inedible.

Reasonable Rate but Tiny Rooms
The location is very good (close to the commons, theaters, start of Freedom Rail, and transit stations), there are also good restaurants in the area. The one thing to note is that the rooms are rather small and not necessarily up to what I expect from a Courtyard.

From a room perspective, the bed was comfortable, disappointing that the only chair was a deskchair, the coffee maker was not reliable (sometimes it heated water, sometimes not), and the bathroom was reasonable size.

Additionally, the front desk staff was fairly stand-offish. Questions were answered somewhat curtly and I felt like I was interrupting whatever they had going on.

Great location
We stayed here for a long weekend trip. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfy. They had limited housekeeping service, but that was okay with us, if we wanted anything we asked the front desk and they took care of it. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Pleasant stay!!
I just completed an overnight stay at this hotel and had an excellent experience. From check-in to check-out, the staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel is located in the heart of the Theater District, and about 15-20 minute walk from the heart of Back Back and Boston Common/Public Gardens. While the rooms are on the smaller side, all modern amenities were available, in addition to a complimentary "grab and go" breakfast. Highly recommended!
