We always enjoy our stay at the Revere Hotel. Conveniently located, reasonably priced, great rooms and service. We always recommend it to anyone going to Boston and want to be walking distances to lots of things.
My husband and I came for a couples getaway. We have a toddler at home so were very much looking forward to some R&R and most importantly SLEEP. I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated that even up on the 22nd floor I am writing this review at 1:40am because I have been kept up for the 3rd night in a row listening to the bass and music from the nightclub across the street. Something needs to be done for sound proofing because I am at my wits end. I’m sure I am not the first to complain about this. The room itself is fine but for $300+ a night I should be able to go to sleep before 2am when the club closes.
Was just a so so stay the room smelled of weed, the beds were very soft so somewhat uncomfortable, the details weren’t attended to well (broken railings in elevator, peeling wallpaper, bubbled paint in corners or room, scuffs on floor), lots of road noise even on floor 16. Linens appeared clean but towels didn’t match all different sizes and textures
Hotel is conveniently located, the lobby area is great. Staff was ok, but nothing to write home about. Now the room was spacious, loved the balcony, bed was comfortable but the room is dated. It smelled like Pinesol when I came in. Carpet looked gross and bathroom/tub needs updating. A shower curtain in a 4* hotel automatically makes the bathroom look like a roadside motel from the 60's.
A super nice hotel that is centrally located. Everything walking distance. Staff super friendly. Rooms were a good size and clean. There is on ground level a nice big area with a bar where you can sit throughout the day. Some games available as well, which makes it very homy. Furthermore nice bar upstairs Unfortunately we could not get on rooftop as of time of year. But it seems amazing.
We got a good deal from Travelzoo and really were pleased with the hotel. It's unfortunate that this hotel (and others) feel the need to tack on $25 "resort fee" for things like wifi and water but besides that, it was a good experience. Rooms are good sized and comfortable. Desk staff was friendly and helpful as was the service person who came when we had a problem with our heat. I would definitely stay here again if the price was right.
I had a great stay at the Revere Hotel. The hotel restaurant is excellent. The hotel and restaurant staff were wonderful. The location is great - you can walk to everything. I would recommend the hotel for business or pleasure.
Once my Google Map could find this place it was wonderful. I was attending 150 plus conference at hotel for three days. Restaurant for breakfast was solid food and good staff. Event staff and rooms were great. The beds were most comfortable.
This hotel is centrally located and feels very safe. The stay started out great with a complimentary upgrade to a suite, and we were excited for the stay. The room itself was fine, a bit of a small bathroom and the shower did not smell good, but otherwise a very standard hotel room. We ran into the following challenges: - No extra blankets in room, so we requested them as my wife was cold. They were not brought within an hour, so we called back. They then brought rough decorative throw sheets instead of blankets (which we welcomed and did not complain at this point), but it was unfortunately - The Wi-Fi is not password protected and had such low bandwidth that it was unusable - The in room TV was Netflix/YouTube enabled, but the streaming services didn’t work, because something was wrong with the wired internet connection in our room. We scheduled a maintenance appointment to fix this, but they did not show up. We waited an hour past scheduled time, and eventually we had to leave. The hotel never followed up on this. - The shower smelled bad when we checked in. This resolved after 1 day, so not sure exactly what was going on. Overall, would not recommend this hotel. It has lots of potential if the staff/management improves communication, but there are plenty of other options at this price point that would yield a better experience. …
Great location, very convenient for Back Bay, Copley, etc. if you don't mind walking a small bit. Room was clean, comfortable and the staff great. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience and I would definitely stay here again. Also close to restaurants, ATMs, etc. Everything you might need.
