Hilton but not as you know it. Pictures on the website are nothing like the hotel, it's frankly fraudulent to advertise this property in this manner at the present time. It's littered with boxes, discarded food cartons and little lighting, not the bright and welcoming pictures of the website. Not managed and appalling guest experience and service. Not a single staff member is identifiable as no name badge or Hilton logo, so only assume they work here, they huddle round the valet station outside or behind the reception desk which is littered with boxes and a heater. Photos below show what is advertised on the Hilton website versus what is actually the reception desk and bar area.....spot the difference?

This was such a find in Boston. Close to TD and all the great attractions. Staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. Breakfast was not warm, but many great options were available. We would recommend this hotel very highly.

There was no bar as pictured or described. The room was freezing. We had to wait to get someone to fix it. Towels were like sandpaper. The walls are very thin so we could hear the neighbors at 6:00 am .They must have been packing to check out because housekeeping swooped in immediately to vacuum. Only positive was its proximity to TD Garden and coffee in the morning.

The room was so beautiful, clean, and very cozy environment. The only thing that sucked was no toiletries (shampoo, conditioner or body wash).. which is normally fine, but I had forgotten mine this time so would have been nice to have. Other than that, lovely stay and staff was incredible

An interesting Hotel near Boston North Station and TD Garden. I went there for a stay-over prior to a business meeting when the town was fully packed because of an event in the TD Garden (don't remember which one). The rooms are big enough and have even a full desk. With the red and black colours they are different to what you normally expect from the Hilton chain. I like this design. Everything was clean and in order. Furniture looked new. Enough elevators. Negative: The breakfast concept was disappointing. Just a carelessly arranged buffet on the counter at the lobby with ready meals and disposable containers. I won't have breakfast there next time.

We expected more from a Hilton Curio property. This hotel was very average. I agree with previous reviews- the staff was less than friendly. There was a doorman standing outside when we arrived- he nodded his head towards the door, did not even open or offer to help with luggage. The room was fair- looked recently remodeled. Water not hot. The area gives easy access to TD Garden, but not much else. Would not stay again.

The en-suite room was actually very nice - comfortable and newly decorated (a nice size too). We thought the bed was very comfy but would have liked to make a hot drink! What was truly awful was the check-in process - it feels like the desk staff have received no training and they seem very unmotivated and down. They are unwelcoming and almost rude (it was also painfully slow). I was so surprised as I have previously always had very positive experiences in the US. The lobby breakfast is basic but OK (not relaxing though). Although it was quite convenient, I didn’t like the area - it felt a bit down at heel and whilst it didn’t exactly feel dangerous at night, I did feel on my guard walking around (quite a few people under the influence of alcohol/drugs who were begging). Staying here definitely marred our impression of Boston which was a shame as it’s really a beautiful city when you get closer to the freedom trail areas.

This hotel will disappoint you immensely. From other reviews you can see that it is under construction, however, that will be the least of your concerns (other than the dust bunnies, drywall dust, dirt and noise….) The front desk staff is so beaten down and miserable, they clearly have no supervision or guidance. The rooms are very falsely advertised, no toiletries, coffee machine, bathrobe, iron or board, laptop work station, special bedding, down pillows, etc, etc…… There is no restaurant or bar on site as advertised. There is a minimalist continental breakfast that a young lady tries to keep stocked.. you can sit on a dirty sofa to take in that if you choose… If you want to valet park your car, don’t!! If you do, you will need a shower after… the valet attendants are not what you would expect!!!! The valet and front desk clerks have no confidence or cares, marijuana is smoked on site, constant smell… Not sure which is worse, drywall dust and construction dirt or hooch!!! The only thing going for this hotel is the location, however there are many other choices!!! The walk from the TD Garden to a hotel like The Bostonian is only 12 mins max and you would be safe! Other than the game nights, you don’t need to be in that area. Stay at The Bostonian by Quincy Market. This gets you downtown, to the North end and all train stations, very easily, you can walk safely day or night! We stayed in Boston area for 6 nights this time, we had a great time, the only let down was The Onyx Downtown - do not book here! Hotels in Boston are pricey, don’t throw your hard earned money away on this location! FYI, even Hilton dumped them! They are no longer part of the Curio Collection of Hilton, they are independent and terrible. Enjoy Boston, it’s fabulous, just don’t stay here!!

I stayed here for one night before an early flight. The website mentions down comforters so I called the morning of checkin to ask if the room could be made feather free due to a down allergy. I was told that it could be done. I arrived around 4 PM to find out that they didn’t have a room ready since “you wanted it to be feather free”. It took about 20 minutes to get me checked in. Weird, but ok. I requested a 4 AM wakeup call so that I could get to the airport in time. The room is stylish and nicely decorated. But, it didn’t have great functionality. There was a chair that faced into the room and away from the TV. It wasn’t very comfortable and it didn’t fit anywhere that let you see the TV. The bed is low to the ground and was not as firm as I like. I woke up around 3:30 and decided to go ahead and get ready. I turned on the shower, let it run for a short time, and checked the water temperature. Cold. Waited some more time and checked again. Still cold. Seriously, it took about 5 minutes to get to a point where I could take a shower. Nice looking shower, but it wasn’t hot enough now did it have enough pressure. I was out and ready, waiting for the wake up call. It never came. I went down at 4:10 and mentioned the wake up call to the guy at the desk. He said that no one told him about it. Good thing I had backup alarms set. I also mentioned the shower and he said that they know about the issue. If I had gotten up at 4, I could only have gotten a cold shower due to an issue that they know exists. I wouldn’t stay here again.
