Had dinner at Amar then went on to Long Bar and speakeasy. The restaurant is excellent. Very high floor and surrounded by windows gave a good view. Decor was great. Food fantastic. Portuguese flair with great seafood. Good wine list. Overall a great experience. Compares well to other high end Boston hotels. The two bars are well presented. Again high floor levels and windows floor to ceiling. Good ambience. Speakeasy very fun. Overall a great addition to Boston high end dining and bar scene.

Raffles Boston is this luxury brands 1st foray in the USA. The facade reveals itself as a ritzy, 'exterior reflective glass' property chucked in a mixed development offering, portraying itself as an urban oasis in the heart of the Back Bay. Upon entering the facility I was whisked up to the 17th floor and greeted by a 3 story, stunning sky lobby anchored with a Grand Staircase that spirals through the atrium. I stared at this masterpiece for a while. This space acts as a social hub connecting food and beverage venues including Raffles Writers Lounge, a signature room made famous by esteemed writers and poets who frequented it in a similar facility at the flagship Singapore Raffles. My Deluxe King, where high end details abound, embraced an old-meets-new ambiance. The decor was adorned with textured wallpaper, wood paneling, marble accent tables and more. The bath was spacious and marbleized with a great soaking tub. Eating experiences include the signature Amar restaurant which serves up modern Portuguese fare with influences of Boston's seafaring culture.....tried the shellfish and other oceanic eatables............great food. The Long Bar & Terrace, is a showstopping venue with impeccable furnishings and immaculate craftmanship and is a great spot for pairing cocktails with striking views. The menu takes on a local flavor with lighter fare breakfast items ranging from Smoke Salmon Bagels to Cod Cake Benedict. From the lunch menu I enjoyed the Lobster Rolls and I didn't leave without sipping a Singapore Sling: a drink conceived at the original Raffles in Singapore. For wellness, the Guerlain Spa at Raffles Boston offers a full service sanctuary with his & her sauna, steam room, ice shower, a modern gym and a 66ft. swimming pool. So, if you want a glitzy hotel venue with signature butler service and close to a host of attractions, (but heavy on the wallet)........then try the........Raffles Boston....... superior Bean Town digs and dazzling bar.

I love the Raffles brand and am very loyal to their hotels in Asia, so I was very excited to try their first outpost in America. Following flawless stays in Singapore Bali and Jakarta, I came to the Boston property with high expectations and I must say they really delivered. Everyone knew me by name unprompted, no issues getting tables at restaurants and bars despite being a busy weekend, and the rooms and spacious and quiet with every possible amenity you may need. Butlers greeted me at the train station and escorted me flawlessly to the hotel, and the same white glove send off at a time when getting good service is exceedingly rare in the US. I will note this hotel is BUSY. It’s a hotspot in Boston and there are long queues of people in the lobby and at the Long Bar and Blind Duck. Having all these people loitering about was a bit annoying, though the staff is aware of the situation and do their best to seek out hotel guests and escort them around the chaos, which is necessary especially on Saturday nights. For many years I had a previous “favorite hotel” in tow. but after my experience, the Raffles easily superseded any other property in town and will be my new home away from home in Boston.

Zach the doorman was AWESOME! As my wife and I was entering Raffles to go to the bar, I was greeted by the Doorman, Zach. Zach was very friendly, energetic, and had great vibes. He noticed this was our first time at Raffles and gave us a small tour and escorted us to the bar. Once he found out we were celebrating our anniversary, he was able to get us a seat. All I can say is WOW!! The level of service Zach provided us set the trend for the remainder of the night. Raffles hands down has the best bar in the city. The drinks were great, and the seating was very comfortable, and the whole staff was amazing. The hotel and bar was so clean, and the decor was fabulous. I will be a returning patron and will be back in the near future.

My daughter and I just stayed 1 night at this newish hotel for a college drop off. I have stayed at several other high end Boston hotels over the last few years so I have lots to compare it to. Pros Elegant, great service, beautiful The indoor pool is LOVELY Butler service is fun/nice/comforting Room had little treats awaiting throughout day Felt super safe at hotel It was like we were the only guests, very private Bath products (Geurlain) were the beyond Bathroom was beautiful Location good, with restaurants and shopping near Cons My double bed room was a bit small compared to comparable hotels in Boston The midday bar/cafe food menu only had 5 options (did not matter, lots of great food nearby) So, we loved it! Nice addition to Boston.

My stay at the Raffles Boston was nothing short of fantastic. When we arrived to the beautiful new building, our bags were taken from our car, and we were escorted through the first floor lobby, up to the sky lobby. Check in at the Writer’s Bar was pleasant and a nice welcome to the building. Our personal butler then were showed up to our room where our bags were waiting for us. The room was very spacious and felt like an apartment. The butler showed us all the design details and functionality of the room. The bathroom had to be one of the bigger, more luxurious bathrooms I have experienced in an urban hotel. It featured a large rain shower, two sinks, and great Guerlain products. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Our favorite feature of the room was the beautiful glass mini bar filled with Raffles signature drinks and plenty of snacks. All of the public spaces make this hotel feel like a resort, more than an urban hotel. The gym was very substantial for a hotel gym, with Technogym equipment and Peloton bikes. The lap pool and day beds were great for relaxation. Lastly, all of our experiences in the numerous bars and restaurants was enjoyable. Breakfast at the Long Bar was delicious, and the room is stunning with views of all of Boston. The atmosphere was lively at night at Long Bar, and even more lively at the Blink Duck. Was really quite a scene, and the drinks were amazing at both outlets. Overall, Raffles Boston has to be one of the best urban hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the hotel over New Year's Eve. A couple of quick highlights: the rooms are beautiful and modern, with floor-to-ceiling windows and great views of downtown. The restaurant, Amar, ended up being one of our favorites in Boston (try the Maitake). The standout feature of this hotel, though, is the service. Everyone you encounter at the hotel is attentive and ready to help. Our butler Larenze was able to accommodate all of our needs, and checked in on us each morning. A bottle of complimentary champagne was delivered to our room on NYE. We only had one minor service hiccup at the Long Bar on NYE, but this was more than made up for by being escorted into the Blind Duck with no wait - in the bar itself, all of our drinks were comped! Wonderful place to ring in the new year. Can't recommend enough, we will be back on our next trip to Boston (and we'll be sure to check out other Raffles properties when we get the chance).

Raffles is a welcome addition to the luxury hotel market in Boston. The staff was excellent, the rooms and decor soothing and the common areas built with high end materials and design elements. The lap pool is a true highlight for a city hotel. Butler service adds a touch of decadence and the Long Bar lived up to its reputation. Highly recommend, will be back!

This property is ICONIC. I have been in the hospitality industry for 25+ years. There are lovely details everywhere you turn. Incredible floral arrangements. The EXPERIENCE is unmatchable. From being pampered by a personal Butler assuring your every need is met, the front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage outlets. The team sincerely want guests to have the very best experience & hands down that is what they deliver. I can't recognize just one staff member because they were all over the top in assuring that our every need is met. The incredible room, the Long Bar with spectacular views is cozy & cocktails delicious. Raffles Boston Team, we can't thank you enough for the wonderful, incredible weekend & can't wait to return when the restaurant opens!

Had been to Raffles in Istanbul and Dubai and had high hopes but this was a letdown for many reasons. To begin- it was not possible to book a room for 3 people through the Accor App- had to call Accor directly. Upon check in no offer of upgrade even though Gold Accor (unlike Istanbul or Dubai.). Once in the room noticed that the electrical outlets between the beds weren’t working so we called for service. It took quite a while for maintenance to show up and once he did just agreed that the outlets weren’t working. We then asked to switch rooms. That took 40 minutes. Finally we were given the exact same room on a different floor. We’d asked for a room with a bath and a shower but were not given one. The next day went to try the swimming pool. Upon arrival noticed that the pool area temperature was cool, the pool itself was cool and the hot tub was lukewarm. There was no attendant to bring one’s attention. Finally another guest went to complain and whomever they found said that no one was on duty until Monday. The experience was definitely not up to par with the other properties. When we relayed our disappointing experiences at check out we were told the manager would get back to us. We did receive a note from the manager acknowledging our disappointment. That’s it. We never received a follow up survey on our experience at the property. Never offered a reduction in our bill due to the numerous issues or an offer to return at a special rate. The daily rate charged was significantly higher than the rates at other 5 star hotels in Boston. Overall a complete disappointment.
