Wish we could give them 10 stars Hotel decor is unique Artistic and interesting we will stay here again rooms are comfortable hotel is spotless Breakfast had a good variety looked like each piece of fruit was handpicked to be perfect. The coffee was really good Maria, Jonathan and Sean were very Helpful Definitely recommending this Hotel
My son and I stayed here during a visit to Boston from the U.K. The hotel is in a great location, 25 mins walk from Harvard Square with its terrific bookshops and subway into central Boston. The staff were brilliant from the moment we arrived. Special shout-out to Joseph who helped us plan our days and answered my son’s (many!) questions with tireless enthusiasm. The whole place has a great buzz, very arty and colourful. Big queen beds in the twin room and a mini fridge which was useful. We’re already planning our next stay. Really highly recommended.
It’s certainly a very attractive hotel! And the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. It’s got lots of parking and is about a 30 minute walk from Harvard. Neighbourhood has lots of cool restaurants. The hotel does has some random stairs which are tricky to navigate with a heavy suitcase. The breakfast was ok but very disappointed all their tableware was disposable - not very environmentally friendly. Would maybe come back.
The staff at Studio Allston is beyond comparison. The front desk managers: Sean, Jonathan, and Melissa will ensure your stay meets your every expectation. We highly recommend staying there (and hope we will still be able to book a room after this review).
My husband and I, spent 4 nights at Studio Allston a few days ago and we were very happy with our stay at this lovely and friendly hotel. The hotel staff were all terrific to deal with, warm, friendly and very helpful. Our room faced the river, nice size, very clean and comfortable and plenty of hot water which can be a problem in some other hotels we have stayed at in the past. There is a lovely patio where one can sit and relax and also enjoy a cup of coffee or tea which is readily available for hotel guests. What a nice touch. We would not hesitate to stay at this charming hotel again when we next visit Boston.
This hotel is fantastic. Everything about it on point. Starting from the top the management team led by Melissa was a pleasure to deal with throughout our entire 5 day stay. They are friendly and professional and super easy to communicate with. The rooms here are large and very comfortable. The beds are great. We had a king suite which was really comfortable for a longer stay and very large. I could read in one room while my husband watched tv in another . The breakfast is great. Large selection and they have an extended time for breakfast . Even the coffee was delicious. When we are in Boston we will look no further and stay here. For us this hotel was perfectly located for visiting our daughter at HBS.
The front desk who received me was very friendly and introduced a lot of things to me. I liked it very much. I will stay in this hotel next time. Sean made the check in process super easy and introduced me to the hotel in a very relatable way!
I stayed at this hotel because my daughter was going back to school and Boston U had a room block here. I decided stay here because it was a little out of the way and thought it would be less crowded and crazy then the more local hotels. I didn't like the distance to everything we needed to do as the Uber's were expensive but liked this little note. GREAT and friendly staff the included breakfast was nice to not have to think about breakfast everyday. The biggest thing I didn't like was the view. I had to keep our blinds closed as It was a power plant. I would upgrade to the better view next time. The courtyard outside was also super cute.
We were very pleased with our stay at Studio Allston. The reception was excellent and the team was extremely reactive to our needs. The hotel is only a 10-minute drive to Boston University, which was very convenient for us. The only drawback is that the restaurant they had previously is now closed. However, there are many restaurants within walking distance. Our favorite restaurants were Adriana (Afghan) and Spring Shabu (Chinese hotpot across the street).
Studio Allston is a great hotel! Reasonably priced, especially with free breakfast and parking. Good/safe location. Housekeeping during the stay, which was a nice surprise since most hotels stopped this service with Covid (thanks to Yolanda.) Great service especially from Sean, the manager and Martlyn, at the front desk.
