The Courtyard Boston Downtown/North Station has garnered acclaim for its prime location, a stone's throw from TD Garden and numerous Boston attractions, which, despite the higher price tag and valet service costs, many guests see as a worthwhile trade-off. The hotel's amenities, including impeccably clean and comfortable rooms with impressive views, are frequently celebrated by guests. Exceptional service is another highlight, with staff members earning praise for their professionalism and warmth. However, some visitors have noted the limited variety of on-site dining options.

Overall, a great stay. We stayed on PH1 level in a two queen bed room, with a view overlooking TD/the tunnel. Nice view but if you’re sensitive to noise, you may find it’s fairly loud because of the traffic and whatnot. Luis at the front desk moved us to a new room & I slept so much better. The view of city is even better IMO! The hotel staff is accommodating, providing us with hot water for our own coffee we made in our room, bowls, spoons and napkins for our own food. The cafe staff is so kind and cheerful, even with their early hours. Location is great for walking to Cambridge, North End and other nearby cities.

Thank for staying with us at the Courtyard at North Station. We are pleased to read that Luis was able to get you situated in a room that met your sleep needs better. Your kind words about our Bistro team are greatly appreciated, they do work challenging hours and it's rewarding for them when our guests are thankful for their efforts. We hope to be able to welcome you back again often.

We searched and compared for several weeks for where we wanted to stay during our trip to Boston. We compared hotels, AirBnB, Vrbo, etc. While nightly rates may have been a little lower, that savings would be offset by Lyft, Uber, or car rental (I do not recommend driving in Boston).
This location is only 2-3 blocks from the hop-on/hop-off trolley (highly recommend Old Towne Trolley) which we bought a 2 day pass.
The hotel staff is very kind and knowledgeable. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Rooms are on the small side but perfect for us because we were only there to sleep and shower. I wish we would have had 2-3 more days to enjoy the sites. So much history!

I've had the privilege to travel the world, and the opportunity to experience a wide range of accommodations, from low cost to 5 star. No matter where you stay, its the people and the property condition, in that order, that make the stay. Any reliable review should allow that there is always something that could be done better.

This hotel is 5 years old, but appears brand new in every respect, in public areas and most notably inside the room itself. A testament to the housekeeping staff and the fine work they do that no one else cares to in the United States, (unless you have no choice or are from another country!)

Reception staff are all engaging, positive and helpful, to a fault. Case in point. My stay was for my 30th wedding anniversary. I planned everything, or so I thought. I set up a food and beverage celebration in my room fro my wife. Much to my chagrin, I forgot the champagne in the car parked 1/2 mile away. Without asking, Mostafa Agha, in reception, after learning of the crisis, with no liquor store in sight, actually went to the bar inventory and delivered a bottle of champagne on ice to my room compliments of the house!!! I was almost speechless to tears!

Granted the hotel is expensive, and the cost of the champagne could be absorbed - but it's a luxury hotel in the heart of Boston, a major city, and its rates are consistent with similar hotels. So what made this a five star hotel? The people and the commitment they have to ensure every guest experience is the best possible, as was mine. Rest assured yours will be as well!!!

I stayed there with my family from September 1 to September 6th, 2022. We booked our stay via Costco travel. Since we were arriving early morning of the 1st, I asked for an early check in. Now usually when you ask for a 5-7 hours early check in and you are staying almost a week hotels worldwide accommodate you. Well, that's not the case with this place. They told me over the phone that such thing is impossible and that I will have to book additional night. Their excuse was how busy they are and how they might be booked, well so much about so busy because i was able to book that additional night with no issues!

We spent five nights there and only once did housekeeping service show up! We called the front desk and requested housekeeping service, and they just ignored us! We then went downstairs and verbally requested service with the young tall gentlemen who worked there and he assured us that they will send someone. Nope, we had to wait till next day at 5pm for someone to finally show up and change our sheets, pick up trash...

Two weeks after we left this hotel I received credit card notice that Courtyard by Marriott Boston North station charged me additional 1524.00$ for my stay! We already paid via Costco Travel but they went ahead and charged all 5 nights again!

On the top of that, their Director of Front Desk "Sabata" is extremely unprofessional and rude! Stay away from this place! They will charge you extra, and then make excuses!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. It's most concerning for us to read when a guest feels that their stay did not exceed their expectations and we obviously want to correct that feeling immediately. We are aware that you spoke with Sabata our Director of Front Office who, upon hearing the error that had occurred, worked diligently to find resolution and credit you back instantly. She was able to do so within minutes of being informed of the problem. You only have to continue reading through our numerous reviews from other guests to learn that Sabata is an exceptional leader and one of the most genuine and professional hoteliers a guest could hope to encounter. We will certainly work internally to correct any training issues within our team which was likely the cause of the error here and sincerely apologize for the angst and inconvenience this must have caused you. While we hope that mistakes don't happen, on occasion and keeping in mind we are human beings, they do and we will always take every possible step to fix errors ensuring we go above and beyond to satisfy our guests. You also mentioned that you had requested an early check in. We would like to touch on that point as yes you are correct that if we have a room available as early as 6am like you requested, we will certainly check you and accommodate that for you. However there is no way to absolutely guarantee the room will be available for you unless you pay for the night prior. While are the time you had the conversation with our team about your request we may not have been sold out, by the time you arrival date came around it is possible and very likely that the hotel would have reached full capacity. Thus an early check in would not be an option for you since the previous guest would likely still be asleep in the room where they are entitled to remain until noon. This is certainly not a ploy to extort money from our guests, simply the only way we can say with certainty that you will have what you need upon your arrival.

Stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott, North Station for several nights on a family vacation. Hotel is well situated across the street from the North Metro station and within walking distance of North End attractions, including little Italy.

Place was typical business/mid-level hotel, however the post-pandemic services were very limited. For example, they would not clean our room during the stay. I had to call and requests fresh towels and any bedding or toiletries specifically and wait for someone to deliver them. The restaurant is not set up for breakfast buffets and food choices are very limited abs grossly overpriced. Better off finding breakfast someplace on downtown.

Limited staff meant low to no extra services, no airport shuttle, limited bar/restaurant hours and offerings and no housekeeping service. I would recommend avoiding this hotel until they get themselves back together.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on your recent visit to Boston and the Courtyard at North Station. It was our pleasure to host you and your family. It's obviously very difficult for us to read when a guest has had anything but a perfect stay. It is certainly unfortunate that in order to remain a safe environment for our guests we have needed to adapt to many differences in post pandemic practices, however we are offering all guests a choice of daily housekeeping service upon check in. We are happy to offer full, partial or no service depending on your preference, perhaps this was not communicated correctly to you at check in for which we apologize. You noted there was no buffet breakfast, you will find that when staying in a Courtyard there is never a breakfast buffet offered in our Bistro, instead we offer a wide selection of made to order, a la carte dishes ranging from cooked dishes such as eggs your way, to pancakes, French toast, omelets, frittatas, breakfast sandwiches and a full continental breakfast offering, our apologies if these options were not your preference. Additionally due to the ease, convenience and low cost of public transportation or taxis and ride share, most downtown hotels no longer offer airport shuttles, however we can certainly assist you in booking one should you need it.

Staff is extremely smart and handles details well, especially Khara at the desk, who fixed a valet parking snag, and Jemiah (sp?) at the Starbucks who made our coffee orders perfectly. The studio one bedroom gave 4 adults plenty of space with the couch and chair sitting area. The kitchenette was also useful with an extra sink. We loved the view of the Bunker Hill bridge. This hotel is very close to the T stop and a food hall and the stop for the Old Town Trolley, as well as the delightful Italian food in the North End.

Our recent stay at the Courtyard Marriott Downtown North Station was fantastic, and we couldn’t be happier! We were a group of 15 with a conference meeting scheduled, and Jackie Leone went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional.

Jackie Leone ensured all our needs were met, even providing us with a larger, more comfortable meeting room when our initial room felt a bit cramped. This level of service made such a difference in our productivity and comfort. Our rooms were beautiful, immaculately clean, and provided amazing views that added a great touch to our Boston experience.

The food provided during our meetings was outstanding—delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. It made our breaks so enjoyable! Overall, the Courtyard Marriott Downtown North Station was the perfect venue for both accommodation and meeting space. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Highly recommended!

Newer hotel within walking distance to little Italy, TD Garden and restaurants. The subway was also just across the street from the hotel. There wasn’t much street parking and the valet was a bit expensive but they bought the car out quickly whenever we needed it. The coffee and breakfast inside the hotel were also pricey but came out quickly. The staff, including the front desk manager, were super helpful and friendly. Corner room with sofa bed was very large. I would stay at this hotel again.

My cousin & I spent just one night at this outstanding hotel for the Sam Smith concert at TD Garden. In addition to the fantastic location (literally across the street from TD Garden) Tony & the front desk staff are absolutely amazing! Tony has personality plus & was so welcoming to us & is truly an asset! The valet parking set up was seamless, the modern common areas on the first floor are very welcoming (self serve water & lemonade for guests!) & the rooms are very clean & spacious. I will highly recommend this specific hotel to anyone I know traveling to the Boston area & we will definitely be back!

Stayed here for 5 nights and it couldn’t have been any nicer! We were on the 11th floor and fortunate enough to get a corner room which I later learned that there is only 1 per floor. I had to do laundry during our stay. They have a laundry room on the 9th & 6th floors and offer complimentary detergent. (FYI…there is only 1 washer & 1 dryer in each laundry room). The staff were exceptional. They always acknowledged everyone when coming into the hotel or leaving. We’ve stayed in several different hotels while in Boston but this has been our favorite and will be our “go to” again. Convenient to the T & the great restaurants in the North End.
