Great stay for one night due to business. The restaurant food was top tier loved every bite. I would love to see the hotel provide a few snack options downstairs in lobby to avoid going outside to a third party establishment.

Hotel's Favorite
We were very pleased with the 2 Queen bed Signature room on the Gold floor. The Gold Lounge was on the same floor which was very convenient for us. Room was quite spacious and had lots of closet space. It was newly renovated. Bathroom was nice too. Shower had great pressure and was so comforting after long days doing college tours. This hotel has grand old world charm with modern amenities. Location is central to shopping and sightseeing. I appreciated the extra security to use key card to access our floor. The Gold Lounge had a great variety for breakfast and the evening appetizers were really good. You could make a meal out of it. We always enjoyed stopping in the lounge before and after we returned. Highly recommend and would go back anytime!!

Amazing Bar/Kitchen dining area! Great ambience alongside quality of both food and service! Room shows attention to detail from pillows, mattress, bathroom facilities and amenities all over. Venue well located centrally and close to all sightseeing places and subway for further distances travel, if required!

We booked a room with two double beds, and when we arrived, the only room available to us was a room with a single double bed. So I had to share a double bed with my work colleague, for the duration of our conference. As you can imagine, this was extremely frustrating, and nothing was done to compensate us for this loss, or make our stay more manageable. Extremely disappointing.

We stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend. It was a very disappointing experience. The hotel needs a major overhaul. The rug in our room had a seam coming apart and a leaky faucet, while the dining room rug looked as if it had never been cleaned. There was a single doorman who managed to open, occasionally, one of the two double doors to enter or exit the building. The reception desk was poorly manned, with often no, or only one, receptionist trying to do it all. Room service dishes were left out in the hall for 24 hours, all in all not something you'd expect from a 4/5 star hotel. On the positive side, what staff that existed were friendly, and the gym was nice. All in all, I cannot recommend this hotel. We, and the other family members that joined us, agreed we would never stay in this hotel again.

Elegant hotel in the center of things. Well run and attentive . Anything that wasn't right was fixed quickly. We liked breakfast in particular. Also enjoyed drinks in the late afternoon. The history of the hotel made it a pleasure to explore.

A wonderful hotel in the heart of Boston. This hotel was amazing and exudes historical charm. Close walking distance to everything and one of the best hotel bed/pillow combinations I have ever experienced. Great architecture and hotel fitout.

This hotel has gone downhill since Accor took it over. My Fairmont fit has been removed. The hotel was not clean the rooms are tired and the service has gone down hill. I liked the bar staff at the restaurant tho. They might have saved an otherwise awful visit

The hotel, hotel room, concierge, dog, & cleaning staff were amazing! I had an issue with billing. The person that checked me in entered the wrong expiration date on my card information which caused issues getting charged. I was on vacation for a week and spoke with someone at the hotel every day and even double-checked everything was fine when I checked out but it obviously wasn't. A guy from the front desk called me while I was driving and argued with me about my card. I had to call back a few times and finally got someone else who told me the issue was with their system NOT my card which is what the previous person insisted was the problem. On the last night of my vacation, I finally had a manager call me and take my information again and got it to go through without an issue. It stressed me out throughout my entire vacation because I love this hotel chain and always stay at the Fairmont chain when available and did not want a bad history with them.

Not as clean as it should be, perfect location, gym equipped as expected. All in all good experience and good business venues. Kept reserving 510 USD on my credit card on a daily basis and the stay was covered in advance. Eventually all resolved well
