Charming boutique hotel on the corner of Mass and Comm Ave. Perfect location one block from Newbury Street. Valet parking. Comfortable rooms. Delicious restaurant on-site. Friendly, professional staff: Jean directed traffic while unloading our bags despite the rain. Vibhu discreetly wished my daughter a happy birthday at check-in which made her feel special, not embarrassed - a feat when trying to strike the right chord with a 13-year-old girl. Jean had the car ready on time for check-out, fitting as his was the first and last of many friendly faces we encountered during our stay. The only reason I wouldn't stay here again would be because it's fully booked!

This hotel was great. As soon as you walk up we were greeted by the doormen opening the doors to a gorgeous entryway with a beautiful chandelier above. The front desk helped store our luggage and helped us with directions. While we were away they put our luggage into our adjoined rooms. They were very attentive. The rooms were very nicely sized. One with a king bed and a living room area with tv, couch, and chairs. The other room had two queen beds. All the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were very nice both had marble walk in showers. Plush towels and nice toiletries. All around a great stay!

We stayed at the Eliot Hotel as it was recommended to us by some friends who had previously stayed. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was fine for us, but it was a decent walk into the tourist areas, like the park near the cheers bar and the market. But it was no issue for us. We enjoyed the walk back to the hotel by all the lovely houses which were decorated for Halloween. Would recommend.

What a lovely old hotel. It is pretty well located in Back Bay, about a 15 minute Uber from Logan. The staff is gracious and helpful. The rooms are unique - in a good way - due to the nature of the building. While on a busy corner, the windows are double so you really won't notice any external noise. You are within walking distance of lots of different things to do - from shopping to restaurants. The hotel does have a restaurant, Uni, but we got in too late to try. The menu looks delish. Compared to pricing of other hotels in the area, the rates are reasonable for this gem.

I wish to thank this guest for taking the time to review their stay and for the wonderful rating! We happen to agree that the Eliot is a "gem." The combination of our spacious and comfortable designer suites, a coveted location in Boston's elegant and convenient Back Bay district, and our genuinely caring and friendly staff committed to ensuring our guests are well cared for, together, help us create such exceptional guest experiences. I'm delighted this guest chose the Eliot and hope to welcome them back once more and to make a reservation at our phenomenal Japanese gastropub Uni!

Well appointed boutique hotel located in the back bay neighborhood of Boston. Great location as close to Fenway Park and Newbury Street shopping and restaurants. Staff was attentive and mostly courteous. One bedroom suite was very comfortable and clean. Uni restaurant onsite was outstanding susi and breakfast buffet was a good value for $18. Overall, exceeded our expectations and will likely return annually.

Its been 2 years since we ventured from our nest. We knew the most treasured place to visit was The Eliot Hotel in Boston. We have visited here many times over the years and there is no place more special to us. Luxury is one of the first things that comes to mind. Old world charm, immaculate rooms, friendly and knowledgeable staff, (especially Hemant), terrific location...you can't ask for more. We always leave wanting more....so we booked another stay in November!

The room was lovely, we got upgraded on our honeymoon and it was really nice. The door staff were really helpful, as were the guys on the reception desk. Good location - really close to down town and the historical walks available. Really lovely, would recommend. Also would highly recommend the japanese restaurant for dinner - if you like pan-Asian food & sushi, you'll really enjoy this!! So good, though a bit more expensive than other nearby options, but you really get what you pay for. Not sure if good value because we paid as part of a package, so don't know what this particular hotel cost.

I wish to thank this guest for taking the time to review her stay and for the wonderful rating. We are always honored when guests choose our hotel to celebrate momentous occasions and on behalf of our entire staff I would like to extend our congratulations for the wedding. It truly is a combination of our spacious and comfortable designer suites, our super-convenient location in Boston's elegant and active Back Bay district, and our genuinely caring staff dedicated to providing personalized service, that together, help us create such exceptional guest stays. And UNI, our award-winning, Japanese gastropub, is considered one of Boston's culinary destinations, which Eliot guests have access to right off of our lobby. I'm delighted the Eliot could be part of such an important memory for this guest and hope to have the pleasure of welcoming her back once again.

The hotel lobby reflects its former glory and the staff are very professional and polite but our suite was smaller than I expected and the decor, a little tired. We had booked it for three people as in addition to the very comfortable bed, there was a sofa bed in the separate living room. It was an old sofa bed model with a thin mattress which was very basic and proved to be as uncomfortable as it looked. Overall ok but disappointing as not adequate for the three of us. The friendly and courteous staff are the hotel’s biggest asset.

I wish to thank this guest for taking the time to review their stay and for the kind praise of the hotel and staff. I regret that the accommodations and sofa bed did not meet expectations. Prospective guests may benefit from knowing that the hotel will be implementing a new room decor project during the coming slower, winter period in Boston, with an exciting new design concept, drapes, fabrics and furnishings. Although the sofa beds are not as comfortable as beds, the hotel does have two-bedroom suites available as well, consisting of two separate bedrooms sharing a living room. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Our two-bedroom suites provide a higher level of spaciousness and comfort for stays with more than 2 people. I hope to have the pleasure of welcoming this guest back once more.
