Breakfast like a school canteen. Food was cold and/or overcooked as so many people to cater for. Had a deluxe room but could not open the window to get any fresh air and our view was of a wall and the air conditioning units. Better places to stay in San Francisco especially if paying more for a deluxe room.

Hotel's Favorite
I was traveling with my teenage son and we need our separate spaces; I rent suites because it costs less than two conventional rooms and it's usually nicer. Our suite was amazing, with a view of the skyline. Conveniently located near Fisherman's Wharf, we had easy walking access to most of the things we wanted to see. Our room was very quiet, and I was surprised to see it overlooking what was a very busy pool area! I did not hear any noise. They offered an outstanding hot breakfast, packed and handed as takeout in response to COVID. This was actually the best breakfast I had in a long time. The staff were very friendly and helpful on every front - from the front desk to the food service areas to housekeeping. My one wish: more working elevators. There were three that went to the lobby and only one worked. This was very congested each morning when people were checking out and had all their luggage. Another single elevator down the hall goes to the fitness room which is on the opposite side of the driveway - we used that one more often (we couldn't find any stairs). But just FYI: this entrance did not readily appear to be handicapped accessible. From what I could see, one would need to walk down three or four steps to get outside. The decor was modern and eye-pleasing, and the entire property was very clean. The property was close to many conveniences such as grocers and restaurants. We walked everywhere and got to see such places as Telegraph Hill, Lombard Street, Chinatown, Pier 39 & the infamous California Sea Lions, Alcatraz, etc.

So I’m paying around 300$ per night and you still charge me 57$ per night for parking? Not even a discount? Not nice. I found available parking spots nearby, just use SpotAngels app. Pro: room size, location, buffet breakfast, frontdesk staff, good in-room coffee Cons: expensive parking even for hotel clients, old furniture

Nice, clean modern and friendly. The rooms are all a decent size, however those on the east side(next to the bus depot) are noisy overnight (try sleeping through reversing alarms). The show was a bit awkward. The shower head keeps switching to a jet rather than a spray, and the water pressure could be better.

We booked this hotel because of the on site bar and restaurant. Unfortunately there is no restaurant and on Tuesday the bar wasn’t open at all. The free breakfast is good but never changed all week long. For the price not what we felt we deserved

Great location for exploring San Francisco, which is reflected in how busy it can get. We read about the queues for breakfast, so arrived early each morning and didn't have any issues. Even when there were queues a bit later on, they cleared quickly. The breakfast was very good - plenty of variety and well presented. The serving staff were also very efficient. The room was spacious and clean and the beds very comfortable. It perhaps lacks that 'personal' touch, but that is not intended as a criticism. If that is what you are seeking, there are other hotels available.

This was a fantastic hotel that looked as if it had been recently refurbished. It was very clean , the rooms were lovely and excellent size. They provided us with a kettle as none of us were coffee drinkers, as there was a coffee making machine in each room. We had breakfast which could not fault at all, the choice was really good and never had a long wait to be seated. I would definitely stay at this hotel if we came back. Good location aswell for pier 39 , restaurants, shops and bars and for pier 33 for the Alcatraz trip all easy walking distance.

A great hotel with the usual service from Riu, super friendly staff, clean room and great breakfast, a great location in Fisherman’s wharf, close to pier 39, cable cars and tour pick up stops. Stayed at this hotel a few years back before it was taken over by Riu, definitely better this time.

Location is excellent. Service is excellent. The breakfast was to die for. The beds were very comfy and they let us store our luggage when we arrived and was way to early to check in. They also let us check in early as the room was ready.
