The room was not very clean, garbage can in the room still had trash from the previous occupant, the curtains had burn holes. They advertise free breakfast but then use the excuse of Covid 19 to say they can't supply that. Lastly, the housekeeping staff barged into the room without even knocking on the door. Check in was extremely slow, took almost half and hour.

Located in a nice area not too far away from Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown and the Golden Gate Bridge. The room was very, very spacious and had a nice bathroom. Free parking is offered in a covered underneath area of the hotel which feels a little safer than out in the open. I thought originally it was a bit pricey but after realising that everything in San Francisco is expensive, the hotel value was actually quite good! The TV in the room was leaning to the side because the stand was slightly broken, the room had a fair amount of wear and tear and was a little bit dated. It would be nice if they offered a free breakfast even if just a grab and go one, as a lot of other places are starting to offer this now. I would stay again.

My family (6 of us) booked 2 rooms here for a few days of SF tourism. An initial problem with one of the rooms was sorted out by the staff. Afterwards, everything was great. Rooms were comfortable, clean and serviced every day. Breakfast wasn’t healthy (doughnuts and croissants!) but was free and plentiful. Hot drinks were available 24 by 7. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Location was fantastic for easy access to the main sights (Uber/Lyft was ideal for our group). Considering the price you pay, you can’t complain about it not being at the level of a Marriott or Hilton. Would definitely recommend it.

Room smelled like smoke. After insisting that we shouldn’t get charged for a change to a different room that is not smelly they did move us. The new room did not smell like smoke however the carpet is disgusting. Walls are paper thin. I could hear the other room’s conversations and tv. Got a terrible night sleep. Chairs in the room are nasty and stained. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is poor. Cigarette butts and ashes on the staircases. Staff unprofessional. They called us at 10:30 to remind us great check out is at 11. That has never happened to me in a hotel. We paid about $57 for this a $19 value.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! They charged us twice, then denied the whole thing (even when I showed both transactions my online banking). The so called ‘manager’ was the most unhelpful person I have ever had the misfortune to interact with. He literally shrugged at me and said he hadn’t charged me twice and proceeded to ignore me. There is no breakfast on offer at all, even though this is advertised on the actual hotel sign and on every site we looked at. The wifi was nonexistent and the room was badly in need of updating. The bathroom was filthy. Would not recommend and will definitely never stay again.

Went to San Francisco for Medical reasons. Did not need fancy Motel, just something simple. Nob Hill Motor Inn was in excellent location, good price and folks working there were very friendly and efficient. I will need to return in month and plan to stay with them again.

Excellent location, walking distance to harbour, trams buses etc all nearby. Nice neighbourhood, lots of restaurants and bars etc. Good to have free parking. Room was a good size.
Garage parking is at street level under the hotel and not secure, easily accessible if someone wanted to walk in off the street and break in to your vehicle. Entrance to hotel is within the parking area which is grotty - a security window and bell to call the receptionist. There is no free breakfast which is misleading but to be honest I wouldn't want to eat in there anyway and there are lots of options nearby which were fine. Room was a good size with ensuite bathroom but very dated furnishings and decor, but it was clean, which is the only reason we stayed. There was daily room service. The shower was roomy with hot water but the ceiling was damaged and again the fittings were dated. The walls and ceilings are thin and noise from other rooms could be heard easily. We wouldn't return again, there are a massive number of accommodation options in SF and notwithstanding a full renovation this one probably shouldn't be on your list if you want to relax!

I stayed here several times years ago, and went back in January 2022 and the place has definitely changed. Got there at 3pm to check in and there was a sign saying back in 10 minutes. A person ahead of us had already been waiting 10 minutes. At about 3:40 the receptionist drove into the parking lot and had 5 groups of people waiting to check in. Carpet is old and dirty, I sunk into the floor in a few areas where it was soft. The bed was lumpy. The bathroom ceiling and tile had mold everywhere, and the exhaust fan was covered with thick grey grime and looked as if it had never been cleaned since it was installed. But, free parking and wifi, a good price, spacious, a good location, and Cheese Plus right next store with the best sandwiches on the planet. Would I stay here again? Yes, because it's affordable and close to where I like to be, and it's a basic budget traveler hotel.

They stole my money, we left the room after 2 hours and they charged over 100 dollars. Our room was not same as room on the photos of hotel. We ordered two nights but we left the room after 2 hours and we had to find another hotel. I want to my money back!! This hotel is disgusting!

Booked a 2bedroom suite, came to check in, went to room, it was a tiny 2 queen bed room not a suite. They charged me for the suite and down graded my room thinking i wouldn't notice an entire bedroom missing. They offered me a rollaway but i had to actually argue for a discount. They wanted me to pay suite pricing for a dingy queen room. Bathroom is a 90s taco bell wallpaper mess. We were crammed in the room and we got back to the room around 730pm. We looked everywhere for the remote, no where to be found. We went to front desk and they said, it's in there just look harder. We never got to watch the TV. At 3am we got to listen to screaming in the middle of the night, that lasted for about 40 min. This place needs better service. Too many great hotels for the same price. Lots of shopping near by so I wish i had a better experience with this hotel.

I was driving a Ford Fusion and had no problems and while I was there there were big SUV's in there too with no problems either. There is ample width for turning so you can either drive into & back out of the space or you can drive into the central area & back into the space if that's your preference, though you might find it easier to leave the boot accessible while the car's parked so driving in is probably the better option.
There are more places to choose from in the San Francisco area.
