Situated four blocks off Market Street, which is the main street that runs through San Francisco. Everything is within walking distance, if you are fairly fit. The reception is a small area, but has everything it needs. Check-in was smooth. The staff were informative and came up with suggestions of places to visit. With car parking on the ground floor, with 30 rooms spread over two floors above it, which are accessed by an electronic gate using you room key. We did not see a lift/elevator. The room was average size,en-suite seemed standard as did, towels and hairdryer in addition there was a fridge and coffee machine and all the makings. It was a little short on natural light, but that suited us. Some areas were dusty, but on the whole the room was clean. Free wifi in the room.…
Its definitely not the Hilton but its a cheap affordable place to stay in San Francisco that has the bonus of free parking. It is very dated and the rooms are in definite need of a spruce up but it does for a brief stay in the city. There is a free breakfast which is served on a 2ft bench in reception, mostly this consists of individually wrapped Danish pastries etc and there is juice cartons in the fridge but there are cheap places to go to breakfast nearby and I would advise going to these
Stayed here because we had a family emergency in SF. Do not expect anything good. Bed felt old, room looked old, bathroom alright. It did the job but would not stay again. Spend the extra money and get something better!
the location of this place could not be better! is in the center of everything but also easy access when you need to get out of onto main highways. I liked the people they treated me very nice, and the price is great since is so close to everything. It has parking which was great and everything that i needed.
This was my second stay in San Francisco Inn. I again chose it based on the location and price. It is a basic motel with few frills. The pluses are the small fridge and the wifi. The wifi was fine an improvement on my first stay. Everything has the feeling of being old and outdated but it is clean. The old CRT TVs were still there with a bit of 'snow' on the screen. The basic breakfast of cereals, pastries and fruit juice is still available to take back to your room. Staff are generally helpful. My only complaint would be with cleaning. I would often come back to my room late in the afternoon to find they hadn't finished servicing it and they would come back and finish it later. I don't know why they couldn't service it all in one go.
