Facility is a little tired, but clean, comfortable and the staff is great. Lack of elevator is probably the only downside and parking can be tight. Would def stay there again. not too far out the way, and only a $8.00 cab ride to center of town.

We stayed for 2 nights in mid September. The room was very small but clean, and very quiet. The receptionists were super friendly and nice as well as very attentive.Breakfest is served by the reception desk, we took ours up tp our room, The free parking is a real bonus. Great location by foot or car, just 10-15 minutes of walking from Union Sq.but the entire area is quite creepy at night...

The hotel is infested with pidgeons, which are very noisy during the evenings.
The breakfest is regular to poor.
Good thing is that the parking slot is for free. You will be also from a walking distance to Market Street, full of stores...

We stayed for two nights in July after reading Tripadvisor reviews. We booked on the motel website and got a room for $150.00 including taxes.Clean comfortable bed big jetted tub. Safe parking for our motorcycle and trailer as well. Staff was excellent.This was a great find we'll be back.

Perfect service, clean and tidy rooms. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Very secure place with parking. It was a bit away from the tourist attractions but a can cost less than $20 dollars to most of the attractions. I would recommend the vagabond to people on a budget :)

My husband and I loved this hotel which is close to everything in San Fran. Lovely friendly staff, simple healthy breakfast, very secure, parking under the rooms, small with fridge and microwave but very quaint and clean. We stayed 4 nights and would recommend to anyone who is on a budget and wants to be close to everything.

el hotel no es lujoso pero no esta nada mal y mas si vas en coche por que ofrece estacionamiento gratis ya que en san francisco es muy dificil encontrar donde estacionarte y muchos hoteles cobran entre 25 y 30 dolares diarios. la habitacion es algo pequeña pero esta bien para dos personas ofrece desayuno continental y es muy bien ubicado 10 min. camiando a market st. que es una de las calles mas importantes.
solo el primer dia hubo mucho ruido por que estaban arreglando la maquina de hielo. por los demas dias todo bien.
el personal muy amable y servicial.

I was hoping for this to be a pretty decent place as it is near work. I was pretty sorely disappointed in the room itself along with a lot of street noise. There were some issues like no hangers in the closet, the glass doors in the shower would not stay closed because the floors are so uneven, And the lack of comfortable pillows or even an extra blanket. I would not recommend this hotel.

When booking we requested a parking space. There are only about 30 rooms and possibly 20 spaces. We had no trouble. Whilst there you dont really need a car. Enjoy.
No, parking is limited and quite small. Unless they have changed the policy, I would call to double check. Your best bet would be to park and maybe take Uber or lyft around the city or even public transportation.
There are more places to choose from in the San Francisco area.
