Recently came to SF with my family for my sisters wedding. I recommended the hotel because I was a world of Hyatt member! The hotel was beautiful, very nice cleaning staff, and was able to accommodate for the wedding party. Was centrally located around all the shops/city hall and was only about 25 min from Golden Gate Bridge. It was easy to walk around to find food/shop. Highly recommended using the hotels Valet service, the parking in SF is crazy (and expensive). For $80/day we had the car parked in a safe location and could come and go as we pleased! This was much better (and safer) than the first parking garage we parked in which was $25 for 5 hours. Only complaint about the rooms was that the door didn’t close shut, was just a sliding door. Also no exhaust fans in the bathroom. Beds were cozy and views from the premium rooms were gorgeous! Coffee cart downstairs had very good coffee/lattes and quick service. Starbucks was also right across the street. Overall recommend this hotel to anyone coming to SF!

Bathroom was clean. Towels were a much lesser quality than expected at your hotel. Room was VERY tired as was the bathroom. The amenities were so small - we had to laugh! No accommodation to the fact we had to check out early - even though we are 30+ year customers ~ so much so that we are on a first name basis with Hal our contact with luggage service. This was our last visit!

Great location and the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. We had a city view which was very nice. Check out time was 12:00 which was a nice surprise. We look forward to our next stay at this hotel.

Everything was top notch about room. Food could of been better. Just okay. Front staff and floor manager responsive to our needs. I will definitely stay again at this hotel. It was centrally located to great restaurants and shopping.

Hyatt prides themselves on customer wellbeing, but that wasn’t my experience when I was checked into a flea infested room. My daughter and I noticed the fleas that first night we checked in. My daughter had one jump on her pant leg earlier in the day and I found one on my bedsheet jumping around while I was settling in for the night. My husband was able to get us moved to another room and we were offered complimentary breakfast for the remainder of our stay due to the incident. However, during our short stay in the flea infested room I received 15+ bites on my legs, arm, back, and neck. The manager on duty named Jessie told me he had the room inspected and the inspection company found no evidence of any bugs in the room. Either the inspection company needs to be replaced or management did not want to take responsibility for their unsafe sleeping quarters. I informed Jessie that I received 15+ bites during our short stay in that room and he tried to blame me by saying that I may have left my balcony door open during the night which I did not. Also, it was very difficult for me to speak with him face to face as he was always unavailable when I attempted to reach out to him. Fleas carry diseases and their bites cause skin irritation like itching and swelling. Unfortunately, I suffered from 15+ itchy swollen lumps for several weeks after this incident due to my sensitive skin and now have scars from them. It’s shameful that management didn’t take this more seriously especially when Hyatt prides themselves on customer wellbeing. It’s just marketed words being thrown out there and nothing more than that.

No complaints here on short recent business trip. Very low key experience which I guess is a good thing. Sometimes for a business trip you just want efficiency and a good night's sleep. Pros - good location for both business and tourism - rooms are in good condition and comfortable - decent F&B facilities. Seems like non hotel guests often meet at the bar there too Cons - checkin late at night did have a longish wait. No recognition for Hyatt elite status.

I stayed here for business. The elevators were a bit slow but I guess this is expected in a tall building. One elevator would not go to the top floor but there were no reason why it didn't work. We would get in the elevator push 36 and just wait. The button lit up as if it were going to take you up but just never did. The property is nicely decorated and there were ear plugs near the bed since some may not be able to sleep with the city noises. Although I found a disgusting stain on the headboard, the room was otherwise pretty clean. the housekeeping staff were very friendly but I tip them well. The hotel is walking distance from tons of high end shopping with a target nearby for cheaper incidentals. The bell hops were friendly but gave incorrect information about the local transportation so look it up for yourself to see if they are accurate. The breakfast buffet is $35 with a small selection. Shop around for same quality food at better prices. Roxanne's Cafe and Mel's drive in were great choices. Union Square is under construction so that took away some of the great photo ops but go up in the Macy's building to get great shots from above. Also don't forget to go out at night and get the get views with the signs at night. Beautiful! Overall, very pricey but in line with the area. I felt safe and enjoyed my stay.

As with most Hyatt hotels, the service and attention to detail was above and beyond. I would be amiss if I didn't note that the buffet breakfast is pricey. The location was good for our trips to tour Alcatraz and Muir Woods. It is a ways from the airport, but close to a variety of restaurants.
