Conveniently located in the heart of San Francisco, Galleria Park gives you easy access to everything the Bay Area has to offer to its visitors. The hotel is located with easy access to the Bay Area's central transit systems of BART, MUNI, Ferry Terminal, and the fabled cable cars. Within blocks are Union Square, Chinatown, the Financial District, Moscone Convention Center, and several world-class museums. The hotel is just steps away from world-class shopping destinations in Union Square--an area that is definitely a tribute to the power of shopping. Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Gucci, Gump's and Macy's are all right on the Union Square. Tiffany & Co. is within walking distance, as is the nine-story San Francisco Shopping Centre with Bloomingdale's. It is also a center for exclusive couture and high fashion, with boutiques dedicated to Betsey Johnson, Kate Spade, Herve Leger, Karen Miller, and Michael Kors. Post Street is also just a block away from Galleria Park.

The Galleria Park Hotel garners praise for its comfortable, stylish accommodations and central location, which make city attractions easily accessible. Guests appreciate the attentive service and enjoy the elegant atmosphere, with a blend of modern and classic decor.
While the amenities, including a daily sipping hour and refillable water stations, are popular, some guests have faced issues with housekeeping, noise, and occasional service lapses. Oh my goodness I can’t say enough good things about this place. I just came home two days ago from a lovely trip with my boyfriend. He was there for work and I got to spend time traveling about the city. Peter Sciacca checked us in HOURS early and accommodated us so well (I asked for a higher level room and he gave us the top floor). Our room was cleaned daily with beds made, new towels and glasses and garbage taken out. They filled up our path water bottles daily as well. My boyfriend and I bring a fire stick to every hotel so we can watch HBO max, but this hotel has google chromecast so you don’t even need the fire stick! However, their WiFi wasn’t working so an employee came upstairs to INSTALL OUR FIRESTICK FOR US! So wonderful and considerate. I had bought a ramen noodle cup from downstairs in their lobby and they sent me a portable kettle to my room with bottled water and tea just in case I wanted it. They have an espresso machine that works in each room too. They gave us robes and umbrellas which came in handy for the weather we had while in San Francisco. They have refillable water stations located in the hotel. They also offered discounts at Jamba Juice which is a favorite of mine and free passes to the 24 hour fitness around the corner, even though they have their own fitness center.
One of our favorite parts of this hotel was the sipping hour they hosted daily. They had two choices of wine and a gin martini that they served between 5 and 6pm everyday. They made our drinks and my boyfriend and I went to their rooftop terrace to drink. The views were beautiful and I bet they’re even nicer in the summer.
Galleria Park is located right in town, however, they always had a concierge at the door to watch for any unwanted guests, which I can’t say many other hotels have (my boyfriend and I are from NJ/NYC and hotels aren’t nearly as protected). There also wasn’t a lot of noise that I could hear from my room even though it was loud when I was walking the street. On the day of check out, they held our stuff for us safely in the back until our flight came as well.
Overall, my experience was phenomenal, so much so I wish I could give an even better than perfect rating.

Everything from the efficient and friendly staff to the cleanliness and great location, this hotel really makes you feel at home in the center of San Francisco. The room was very cozy and quiet, the bed and bedding were just right, and the price was considerably less than some of the larger hotels in the area. Plus, you can't beat the location--just steps from Union Square and walking distance to Moscone Center, SF MoMa, The Ferry Building, or even Oracle Park. We only wish our plans had allowed us to sample one of their famous martinis, but I guess we'll just have to visit again.

I'm so accustomed to traveling with minor inconveniences that I have come to expect them. A thermostat that doesn't heat/cool the room well, a hair dryer with so little power it takes 3x as long to dry my hair, etc. However, my experience at Galleria blew me away. They paid attention to little details such that nothing felt out of place or inconvenient during my stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The lobby felt like the cozy living room of a friend's place. I was delighted by my experience and will be staying at the Galleria for any future trips to SF!

Historic hotel in a strategic position, a few minutes walk from the busiest areas, but with all the pros of being in a slightly secluded block. The rooms could use a refresh (especially the bathrooms), but they are extremely clean and comfortable. The lobby is really nice and welcoming and the staff tends to go out of their way to be helpful. The coffee/tea in the morning and the "sipping hour" in the evening are much appreciated.

A few blocks from the hustle and bustle of Union Square, the Galleria Park hotel is conveniently located but quiet enough to provide a welcome relief from the more chaotic energy of San Francisco. This boutique hotel is located in a tastefully redone 1911 building, itself built on the site of a noted hotel (written about by Mark Twain) destroyed in the 1906 earthquake. The lobby is arty, lovely and relaxing, the rooms (in European style) small but very comfortable, and the elevators don't dawdle the way they do in some older or larger hotels. There's free coffee in the lobby each morning and the entire staff was outstanding at their jobs, making an extra effort to ensure that our stay was flawless. Space in the bathrooms is extremely limited, although no more so than most hotels in New York or Europe. My only real complaint is with the shower. If you are even slightly larger than average size, it is going to be a very tight fit. I'm 5'7" and 130 lbs. and it was confining for me. Also, the water pressure is very, VERY low (likely necessitated by the ongoing drought) so expect to take some time getting sufficiently wet to lather up and rinse the soap off. Since the shower door does not align completely with its companion wall, much of the water winds up on the floor of the bathroom so it's best to put a couple of towels on the floor around the shower before going in. Bathroom issues aside, I highly recommend this hotel for the fine service, the lowkey atmosphere and its convenience to the BART station, bus stops, fine dining and shopping.

Hotel: The hotel is a beautiful building. Cozy, clean. The room was nice. There was a heater in the room. It was pretty loud, especially coming on and going off, but I asked for some extra blankets and they were great. I thought the room was a little loud for me at night but I brought earplugs and that helped.
Staff: The staff I talked to were friendly. They asked proactively about where I wanted to use the luggage service when I was checking out, which was thoughtful.
Location: The hotel was conveniently located near to where I needed to go, and there are a few interesting shops around—"Blue Bottle" was highly recommended to me, and there was a delicious bagel place called "Posh Bagel" a block or two away. The big vertical sign outside the hotel on the corner makes it easy to find.

We were in San Francisco for a couple of days and had the best stay at the Galleria!! From the moment we stepped out of our car at the valet- Jacob was there to greet us!! He was welcoming and helpful each time we encountered him. The check in process was quick and easy- Peter was professional and helpful in answering our questions. We spent the day exploring the city- walked right from the hotel to the piers and wharf area and then ventured on a cable car ride to some great local eateries. We would highly recommend this hotel for his perfect location, comfortable accommodations, wine/martini tasting in the lobby and their top notch staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need! Can’t wait to visit SF again!!

The Galleria Park Hotel exceeded our expectations. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel in a great location near the financial district and also near Union Square. There is great attention to detail here. It’s close to all public transportation including the BART which we took from Oakland in about 30 minutes. Check-in was very easy upon arriving. Since we missed the wine happy hour we were given a complementary bottle of wine which was great customer service. Our room was number 323. It was a great room facing the street but the noise (wasn’t much) never bothered us. The room was very comfortable and roomy. The bathroom was nice and big with a huge walk-in shower with plenty of counter space. The water pressure was great as well. The room includes a mini fridge and a safe, desk and a nice chair to sit down. Nice wooden shutters on the windows with a shade behind it for privacy.. There’s even a flashlight plugged in next to the bed if you needed one. The closet was very big and offered a iron and ironing board and also even an umbrella which is great touch. Lots of USB ports and outlets in the room and the television was a nice flat screen with access to all kinds of movies, Netflix, Hulu, just about anything you want to watch. There’s a nice outdoor area on the third floor for relaxing or even walking as part of it as a walking/jogging path. There’s a complimentary water bottle in the room with a great water refill machine next to the ice maker on our floor. Their complimentary shampoo, conditioner and bath wash from Jonathan Adler were even amazing! The hotel is also within walking distance to almost everything. We walked to Fisherman’s Wharf, Chinatown, Union Square, the Ferry Building, and even to Nob Hill and Little Italy. No issues about safety whatsoever, everything felt safe. There’s lots of restaurants and bars in this area too. The employees at this hotel were all very pleasant, friendly and efficient. This is a great hotel. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place in San Francisco.

I went to San Francisco for the weekend to spend time with friends during the Folsom street fair. The accommodations were extremely comfortable, the staff was welcoming and eager to ensure my stay was enjoyable, and the location was convenient to the fair, pier 39 and other SF attractions. I was able to walk everywhere from this hotel. Very convenient!

Our fitness center is modest and offers 2 Peloton bikes, treadmill and free weights. We do not have a pool in the hotel. The Urban Amenity Fee assessed to reservations includes day passes to a local 24 Hours Fitness Studio less than a block away from the hotel.
This hotel is in the Financial District, it is a good location and a wonderful hotel. There are great transportation options in SF to Fisherman's Wharf where including a bus, the trolley and of course a wealth of Lyft and Uber drivers. It is also a really fun walk through North Beach and Chinatown which is a good way to see the city.
We only offer valet parking for $54 per night, plus tax for a standard sized vehicle or $64 per night, plus tax, for an oversized vehicle. This includes unlimited in and out privileges.
There are more places to choose from in the San Francisco area.
