After staying in six different motels around California it was so nice to stay at the Lombard Inn. Beautifully clean, and felt extremely safe. The rooms were very large and had a spacious bathroom. Only con would be the traffic noise - but not a...More
The check in was easy and the lady on reception was polite and helpful. The overall first impression is a bit shabby and could do with a lick of paint and some modernisation, however, our room was spacious and very clean. Big beds. Powerful shower....More
The hotel is near to attractions, easily accessible by uber for less than USD10. It provides a carpark if you rented a car. The room is spacious for 3 pax. It is a little old but for the price & location, it is considered good.

Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city.
With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
