So the room was poorly kept and dirty, the photos show the stained nature of the floors and the lack luster cleaning that was happening. There was other minor damage around the room. Normally I would take these concerns to the front desk for help, but the service at checkin was so poor that I didn't feel it was worth the time. We arrived early to see if we could checkin early and were told 3pm, fair as normally you need to clean rooms between checkins. We could see the cleaning cart on the second floor and that made sense. Came back at 2:30 to see if we could checkin (the cart was on the lower floor and one door from being done) and was told no 3pm. they said it was for cleaning (even though they had already done the room we would be assigned) and offered they might be able to allow us at 2:45...…
When I checked in, they gave me keys, I unlocked the door and the room was a mess, the bed was unchanged from the previous guest, pop bottles and coffee cups strewn about, and dirty towels on the floor. The maid service was getting ready to go home for the day. I ask about it at the front desk and he got them back in there to clean and ready the room. The room was to have a refridge and Micrwave. there were 2 fridges in the room and neither of them worked. It took the half and hour to find a replacement and then I tried to turn on the TV. nothing happened. two problems with it, faulty remote and he disconnected the cable trying to move the refrigerator. finally, I'm set. On Sunday it again got to be quitting time for the housekeeping staff and my room still wasn't done. I had to ask everyday to get the bed made, clean towels and the wastebasket emptied. I will give them credit for being helpful and courteous and the hotel was conveniently located. There were no little critters around (bugs) and it was relatively clean. a bit noisy, but I live in a big city so I'm used to that. I just doubt that I'll ever stay at this hotel again. Plus it was expensive, almost $2000.00 for 8 nights.…
Hi, in fact I have not have this "pleasure" to visit this hotel but I have booked a room there and I have already been disapointed. After 1 week of my reservation was made I have got the message with cancellation of my visit due to fact that price that I booked was just an "error". They proposed me another price 300% higher and as I did not have many choices now (next week I will be in SF) I replied both to Booking and hotel that I agree on new price. I have not received any response unfortunately. My only word is that this behaviour is complately unprofessional and they do not care about potential guests too. Much disappointed.
I was bit hesitant initially about the location but this was a good choice as it was close to Moscone centre where I was attending the event. I usually used UBER to and from hotel so everything worked out well Rooms are clean and had all necessary amenities.Overall no complaints. I had requested early check in from Booking.com but it was not available on arrival. The front desk arranged for the luggage to be stored. I had interacted with 3 front desk staff and two of went out of their way to advice and help. This hotel also has free onsite parking which us a rarity. Overall recommended
A friend suggested I stay at Bay Bridge Inn (Harrison st) while in the city a weekend. My first time at this establishment, it has now become my “go-to” for a downtown SF hotel. The customer service is excellent- the front desk attendants are not only available - they are knowledgeable and helpful. In particular, “Harvey” is more like a concierge- he is able to read people and offer suggestions of activities, restaurants, and shopping that correctly coincide with one’s character. He knows his audience, and I really appreciate that. Furthermore, the price is economical budget friendly, the location can’t be beat, and I had lighted car parking. More so, our room & bath felt clean, safe and cozy, with the most comfortable bed I’ve experienced in a hotel for a long stretch. I’ll be staying again next time I’m in the city. Thanks for a great stay guys.…
Bay Bridge Inn is a wonderful place to stay!! Within walking distance to metro station and Union Square, and Harvey at the front desk was amazing!! Told us great places to visit and eat. Beds were comfortable, and all of the staff was friendly.
We only chose this hotel because it was within walking distance to Oracle park and the free parking. It is also within walking distance to China town and Union square. It’s an older motel but the room was clean, the staff was friendly, especially the young man who works the evening and weekends. There are more rooms than parking spots. We arrived around 1 on a Sunday and there were 4 or 5 open out of 10 or 11. The room had a microwave and a fridge which came in handy for us! If we come into town again for a game, we will stay here!
The hotel was conveniently located and price comparison to other was reasonable. Although there is parking it's tight and limited so you need to be lucky, I was. Room was clean and comfortable. Carpet could use some attention, maybe a good scrubbing but everything was clean.
The place was clean but nothing special. The 164 usd for a 3 member family was quite cutting but not deadly. But they also took away 150 usd deposit with the promise to send it back in 1-2 business days. As we were recked after a 15 hours travelling, we had to accept. That was 10 days ago and still no sign. So watch out, people, it’s a rip-off!
Great location. Rooms were upgraded and clean. Lines and towels were comfortable. Water pressure was good and there was no lack of hot water. The area is not the best but at no time did I not feel safe. I will stay here again.
