Great location, free parking on site, friendly staff, nicely remodeled rooms with comfy beds and large showers! Plenty of restaurants and coffee shoos close by and transportation right outside. Will definitely stay here again. Reasonable rates too!

The room is big and clean the fireplace sweet and when I made the reservation the owner was very accommodating. Upon arrival, the front desk person was so gracious and welcoming. The lodge is 50s modern and located within walking distance of a number of restaurants. We've stayed here twice. We'll be back
BTW, they offer a small discount for family and patients of a hospital.

We stayed two nights at Beck's Motor Lodge, and were very impressed with both the motel and the service. The staff were helpful and friendly, and our room was way bigger and more quiet than other rooms we've had at different hotels in San Francisco. All the facilities were great - powerful shower, huge bed, quiet air-con, and we took advantage of the laundry room too. There was also an elevator which was handy as we had some heavy luggage. The motel is right near an "F" tram stop, which takes you all the way to Fisherman's Wharf for $3. There's also a Safeway on the next block, and tonnes of restaurants nearby. The biggest bonus is the FREE parking on-site, and when we checked out with several hours to kill before our flight home, the staff were happy for us to keep our car there while we walked around the city. We will definitely be back, and would recommend this place to anyone.

I highly recommend staying at Beck's! My girlfriend and I stayed at Beck's Motor Lodge for 8 nights in their King Deluxe room. It had a king sized bed, sizeable room, desk & chair, chair, mini-fridge, and bathroom with a sunlight. We were on the 3rd floor facing 15th street (the back side of the motel). The staff were very nice, helpful, gracious, and masked. The room was quiet. I did laundry one day, and the front desk provided access to a laundry room and detergent - total cost for one load + detergent was $5.50. It was very convenient. The motel is in a fantastic location, very close to great restaurants, tourist sites, and easy transportation to anywhere in the city. Beck's also has first come first serve parking available, at no extra charge (the lot was never full). I highly recommend staying here and will return again!!

Everyone at Beck's was kind and helpful and the rooms were very nice. I stayed for two nights and then came back after the weekend for three nights. The first room was in the back facing the rear street and was spotless and quiet. The second room was in the front of the hotel facing busy Market Street but they have added soundproofing so that you don't even hear the traffic. The neighborhood is the Castro and very safe with everything close at hand. This place has emerged as the best bargain in town since the renovation. I understand relatives of the original owner run the hotel now and they do a wonderful job. The price was remarkably reasonable and being able to park in the motor court for free was a big plus.

Room was spacious and well-laid out, bathroom nicely updated, high-quality linens and toiletries, thoughtful details such as ear plugs (but I wasn't bothered by any noise). Loved the retro feel. Weather did not cooperate to take advantage of the patio deck over Market Street but was pleased it was there. Nice not to be in the gulch of Union Square, especially during the pandemic.

This was a fantastic surprise. We were slightly worried as we would not normally stay at motels. But Beck’s was fantastic! The rooms are renovated and very clean, there is free parking, and all entrances to all floors are secured and only accessible to guests. There was a daily cleaning service and the staff was very kind (especially SueAnne who checked us in!) The location is unbeatable, and feels very safe. A fantastic stay and unbeatable value for money!

The motel is on Market St, the most central SF street so there can be some noise from trams, cars and passers-by. Nothing too inconvenient, and earplugs are provided in the bathroom.
Coffee machines in the room needs changing as super old, and there should be a water-filler station rather than having to pay for water from a vending machine.

Chose Beck’s because of the free parking, its historic nature, and its location in the Castro so close to public transportation. Turned out we wished we had booked more nights! Check-in and out was super easy and the staff was very friendly. Ate at at recommended local restaurant and that was superb too.

The room was great. Clean and very comfortable. Bed and pillows were great. Shower was good. Area felt 100% safe and wasn’t too noisy - though the rooms did have ear plugs if the sounds of the city were too annoying. Will definitely recommend to others. Loved it so much that I bought a shirt as my main SF souvenir. Thanks for a great stay Beck’s!

I lived in San Francisco for about 25 years and moved away about three years ago. No when I come back for a visit, I stayed back’s. It is in a great location where you can walk around everywhere in close to public transportation. The rooms were renovated a few years ago are and are very nice and clean. Staff is super friendly and they have made it easy for touchless check in given the times.
