I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Aysgarth. The innkeeper, Melody, makes an amazing breakfast and baked goods that she offers as a bagged meal if we aren't around for breakfast. The B&B is a short walk to the bustle of Bar Harbor. We stayed in the only room downstairs, next to the kitchen which was small but comfortable. Bathroom was clean too. The other guests respected quiet hours as well. Would recommend to everyone visiting this part of Maine!

My wife and I visited Bar Harbor recently for 3 days and stayed at Asygarth Station. Our room was great, breakfast was great and our Host was amazing; friendly as you would expect/ hope from a B&B and informative of the area. There are also two amazing cats that live at Asygarth that would great us in the morning for Breakfast and at night after dinner. I highly recommend Asygarth and to anyone going to Bar Harbor in the future reading this. Say hello Pip and Fred for us!

When I speak to friends and family about my trip to Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park, the Aysgarth Station is a central part of my listing of highlights. It is the perfect bed-and-breakfast for a relaxing yet adventure-filled New England getaway. Some highlights include... -> Cozy: On our way up, we stayed a night at a hotel in Portsmouth, NH. It was a fine hotel, but I sometimes find it hard to sleep in those un-homey rooms. On the other hand, I slept like a baby in the Asygarth - especially with the cool September air being blown around by the ceiling fan. -> Accommodating: I've had B&B experiences where I very much felt like a guest. Melody, the hostess, makes you feel at home right away. It's like the best aspects of home. Which gets me to... -> Delicious: Melody is an all-star. The breakfasts were always varied and delicious. She's also a wonderful baker, and would leave all sorts of delightful baked goods hanging on our doorknob for an afternoon pick-me-up. Perfect meals and snacks for long days of hiking and exploring.

One of the most enchanting places you can stay in in Bar Harbor. The entire place is very welcoming and Melody is such an amazing host. All of her breakfasts were mouth watering and made with care. We stayed in two rooms and from the smallest to the largest room, the Station is extremely comfortable. The location is super convenient, about a 5 min walk from Main Street, to where everything is in Bar Harbor. Again I can not stress enough how great of a stay it was at the Station. The pricing, the rooms, the cooking, the location, all of it, 5 stars!

My husband and I stayed here and really enjoyed our time in Bar Harbor and Acadia. Aysgarth is centrally located and very comfortable, with an excellent host! There were lots of maps and resources available as well. Make sure to try the baked goods!
