My child is 6 years old, so when I come to Guam, I use PIC because it has a good pool.

The first time I stayed at PIC, I stayed at Royal Tower and it was good, so this time I stayed at Oceana Tower A, but if I had stayed here first, I think I would have stayed at another hotel next time.

I asked for an upgrade on the first day, but it was more expensive than staying at Royal Tower from the beginning, and because the yen was weak, I was told that it would be upgraded by 1 night 2/3 x 4 nights, so I gave up.

The ventilation in the unit bath was poor, so it became humid immediately when I used the shower, and clothes became damp if I left them there.

The Wi-Fi in this room was weak and it was repeatedly connected and disconnected, so I couldn't use it. I didn't have these complaints last time. The cleaning was done without any problems.

I left my child at the Kids Club, and he was very happy and said he wants to go again next time.

I didn't have high expectations for the Super American Circus, but both adults and children had a lot of fun, so I recommend these two.

If it had been Royal Tower, it would have been a very satisfying trip, but I guess it can't be helped in this day and age when the yen is weak and everything is expensive.

The hotel is fine. It is big and a bit old but comfortable. It's also fairly clean, and that's important. Free parking is also a huge bonus. The main draw is and should be the enormous water park and beachfront, which has days of activities for kids and adults. The kids won't want to leave. All activities are included in the rate so it is a great deal on that score. My biggest gripe is the food and other amenities. The restaurants are so overpriced I thought they were being sarcastic, so be prepared to rent a car and eat literally anywhere else. You do have a fridge in the room, though, as well as communal microwaves, so grocery shopping is also an option. Ultimately, the main reason to come is the waterfront and awesome activities, which are as advertised.

The view itself was worth the amount spent. Staff were very friendly & helpful (there's no microwave in room so we went downstairs often).
Smooth check-in & checkout process, clean hotel & will certainly recommend to others

The Pacific Island Club Hotel in Guam is an absolute nightmare. The first thing you'll notice is the presence of cockroaches in the stairwells. But that's not all. The hotel also has a host of hidden charges that they conveniently fail to mention while booking. The added burden of these extra charges can hurt your budget, leaving you feeling like you were ripped off. They spring this on you at the last-minute check-out when you're trying to go to the airport to catch your flight. This leaves you back into a corner, and they strong-arm you out of your money.

It can be frustrating to encounter staff members who need more proficiency in English, as this can make effective communication impossible. Even the simplest requests can be difficult to convey, and you may feel stranded and helpless. This can make an already difficult situation even more unpleasant.

Overall, the Pacific Island Club Hotel in Guam is an absolute disaster. It's a shame that a hotel with such a prime location can have such a poor standard of service. While this hotel has previously been highly regarded, my most recent experience did not meet my expectations. Some areas may be where improvements could be made to enhance the overall guest experience. Do not be lured by the waterpark. The hotel waterpark is extremely overcrowded, with no space to move around due to selling tickets to people staying outside the hotel to make money. The hotel does not reinvest profits back into the hotel as run done once you past their flashy entrance. Last stay at this place. The review leaves me sad to write, but i don't want your family to have the experience that I had.

It has become an AVOID AT ALL COSTS place.

PIC was the most awesome family trip I have ever been on. Yes the resort is very nice but its the entire staff that made us feel like royalty - even with the cheapest room. I have taken the kid to Tokyo Disney, Hawaii, and a few other big places but none were as amazing as this. It's a great water park, mini golf, and circus with all the amenities. The reason why this was so special was the ENTIRE staff that works there.

First, The coolest guys were the lifeguards who made a big deal out of my 4 year old son. The water slide is the main attraction for us. The local lifeguard with the white sunglasses would use the rubber mats to flood the top of the slide with a pool of water to make us go down faster. He could have just sat at the lifeguard tower and said "go" but he went above and beyond. Then there was another lifeguard with long blonde hair that really encouraged us to go to a restaurant off site to see the Hula dance show for free. My kid loved every bit of it.

Second, was the circus. I've never been a fan of the circus even as a kid. Watching elephants poop with their theme song playing over loudspeakers - not my idea of fun. This show was completely different from what i expected. I would compare this show with the amazing shows you see in Vegas. Yes, its that good and even I would recommend!

Then there were the Korean trainees behind the front desk. I went to them daily for help and advice. Even though they were only trainee's they had more knowledge about the ins and outs of the hotel then I would have known if i worked there for years. My door even broke and we were locked out at 11pm. They rushed maintenance to our room so fast it showed just how great the service is.

Finally the information/service desk next to front desk. The local girl i must have annoyed with repeatedly asking her for places to go and recommendations on what to do. This girl was amazing and we even shared kid photos.

My family and I are relocating the states. Day 3 of what was supposed to be an 8 day stay before leaving the island for good, we experienced such discrimination and the worst hospitality ever.

The governor made an announcement that establishments such as restaurants, bars, movie theaters, gyms and other establishments would no longer need to ask for vaccination cards/proof. We are unvaccinated and could not use the pools nor dine in. When the restriction was removed I asked the front desk if we can now use the pool. The manager said, “No!” They have their own rules. Ok. That’s fine. Then I went back and asked that if we check out early will we be reimbursed for the remaining days. They said I would be reimbursed and then they did a 180 and said I can now use the pool and restaurants but I would have to return all the perks they gave us when we first checked in. What? You’ve got to be kidding me!

I’ve about had enough of their bad attitude. I called another hotel and booked with them and they offered a shuttle to the airport. I checked out of PIC and will never ever go back there again if I ever visit the island and go to a hotel. Additionally the hotel is old and dirty. But we never complained about that, until now.

Would I recommend? Oh heck no!!!! Don’t go to this hotel. Water park is dirty too. Don’t do it!! I’ve added a photo of blood on the elevator button on the 10th floor. We told the front desk twice about the blood but no one did anything until our third time to inform them. Yuck!

I stayed at Oceana Tower B on the 10th floor. It was the furthest from the reception.
First, the phone was out of service in the entire building, so I had to go to the front desk, which was far away, whenever something happened.
First, there was no hot water, so I asked for repairs. This was resolved in 30 minutes.
The kettle was broken, so I replaced it.
The next day, the towels were not replaced when the room was cleaned, so I asked the front desk, but no one came even after four trips, and in the end I took them home myself (and there were not enough bath towels for everyone, and for some reason they were fooled with a lot of face towels). And there was no apology at all. Very arrogant.
I found out the day before I left that I was given a foot towel.
The pool certainly has a lot of variety, and the slides and kayaks are good, but there are many for children, so I don't particularly recommend it for people without children.
Guests are divided by the color of their cards, and I think that the lowest bronze level is probably not treated as a guest. So, no matter how cheap it is, it's better to stay here in silver or gold. However, if you can afford that, I think you can stay in a better hotel. All in all, it was a trip that left me with many dissatisfaction.
I booked through Rakuten Travel, but since Rakuten doesn't allow comments when booking as a tour, I decided to write here.

This hotel boasts a water park for children, and is ranked among the top four-star hotels for families in Guam, so I stayed there, but it didn't feel like a four-star hotel at all.

My room was on the 20th floor of Building B, but the room smelled like toilet freshener, which was disgusting, and there were ants in the shower and someone's hair was still stuck in the shower head. It took more than three minutes to fill the toilet, so I couldn't use it continuously.

To use the pool, you need to get a wristband at the reception desk every morning, but it's 7-10 minutes away, and when you make a dinner reservation or when you need more towels, the internal line doesn't work, so you have to go to the reception desk, which is inconvenient.

The pool was muddy and unsanitary with sand.

I got the all-inclusive course for gold members, which included food and drinks, but the breakfast at the training camp venue was full, and I had to wait in a long line to get bacon and sausages. Also, for dinner, Japanese food was available, but the meat was tough and had a strong smell and was inedible.

There seem to be cheap tours to Korea, so there were a lot of Koreans, but there were hardly any Japanese people, so this is not a hotel I would recommend to others.

1. Not enough beds
2. Not enough equipment
3. Smelly bedding
4. Just waiting
First, we had to wait almost an hour to check in. It was tough to wait so long in the humid lobby with a child. (We arrived late, so all the shops were closed, and there were no vending machines, so we couldn't buy drinks.)
We booked a triple room, but there were only two beds. There were also two slippers and robes. There were three bottles of water, and toothbrushes and towels for four people, so it was hard to understand. We weren't even given a card for the Royal Club lounge.
We requested everything we needed, but the service was terrible.
The front desk was friendly, but the actual service was slow. For example, the room keeper came to the room an hour later and added a bed, but no slippers. When we asked again, the slippers came two hours later, but no robes. We asked again, but they never came, so we had to ask again.
Also, one of the beds had a smell, and even though I requested a replacement, it was never resolved.
(I asked the front desk, but they did nothing after that. When I asked again, the room keeper came and said, "They'll deal with it tomorrow." But the next day, it still wasn't resolved. I had to ask the front desk again.)

By the way, it took me an hour to buy a hamburger by the pool.

There were only about seven people in line.

The pool itself was fine, but the rest of the experience was terrible.

If anyone asks me, I would never recommend staying at this hotel.

The service I received did not match my expectations when I made the reservation, or the price I paid.

1st the front desk staff is made up almost entirely of college interns. The lack of experience cost me multiple hours correcting their errors with the managers and my travel dept. 2nd this place is run like a prison, you eat at this time, you swim at this time, you can not bring that item to this area. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing place this is NOT it. The only good thing was the cleaning staff Mactee took care of my room and did an exceptional job! Tinton on the maintenance team was very nice and friendly everyday. All and all I will never stay at this place again.

Hafa Adai, We do not provide coffee makers in Standard rooms. If you would like this amenity, we recommend booking one of our higher category rooms: Deluxe and Royal Club rooms offer drip coffee and Royal Club Premium and Suite rooms have Keurig coffee machines. Smoking is allowed on your guest room balcony so long as the balcony doors are closed to prevent odor from entering the room. We also provide several designated smoking areas throughout the property. Thank you, PIC Management Team
