Hyatt Regency Guam emerges as a serene retreat with its inviting atmosphere and renovated rooms, especially noted during special events. Guests have lauded the hotel's cleanliness and the variety of amenities, including diverse dining options and excellent beach access.
While the prime location near shopping and restaurants is a consistent hit, opinions on room comfort and service vary, with some mentioning maintenance issues and noise. Although the hotel's value has been debated, with some criticisms over laundry pricing, many still consider their stay worthwhile.

Maria Horne from the housekeeping department assigned on the 3rd floor has provided the best customer service and deserves a 5-star rating. I highly recommend her, and I hope she deserves the recognition. She always looks out for the guests and goes above and beyond to make guests enjoy their stay at Hyatt. -JB

Beautiful sea and pool, comfortable rooms, new staff. It was a very good hotel. Perhaps because it was a relatively quiet season before the holidays, it wasn't crowded and we were able to stay comfortably. Water was not bottled, but was drawn from a water server, so we could refill it as many times as we wanted, which was sustainable. I was planning to take my children to Camp Hyatt, but it is not open at the moment, which was a shame. I hope they will bring it back. We will come again. Thank you!

Loved our stay. The beach is phenomenal. We had an upgraded room on a high floor with a beautiful view of the ocean. Our favorite part - and don't laugh - the coin operated laundry on our floor. We have been traveling for several weeks and most hotels charge high prices for laundry. At the Hyatt, we were able to do our own laundry at our own convenience.

I left the room during the morning, but the room was not cleaned.
I asked for it to be done as quickly as possible and received a reply that they would do so, but they did not do it even after waiting for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
They said they would do it at a certain dinner time, but they vacated the room and it didn't happen when they came back.
I complained to the front desk, and the front desk staff simply cleaned up the room and gave me a towel.
In the end, I received room cleaning service the next morning.
My schedule was messed up all day due to emptying my room, I couldn't rest comfortably in my room, and since it was peak season, the prices were the most expensive of the year, but the service was the opposite.

Worst stay, moldy air vents and Hotel Services are the worst I have seen. Good afternoon, I fully understand that Hyatt is very busy. I also know that as a U.S. military member and traveled in groups there was some type of maybe "agreement" when to clean the rooms and receive hotel services. The primary reason I checked out earlier and transferred to another hotel here in Tumon Bay was mainly because the rules were put out when to clean the room I stayed at. I checked in on the *** of March, the first "light" cleaning was on Sunday, but no one came to my room and did the "light cleaning" (taking trash out and replacing towels if necessary". On the *** of March, I left for work around 0730 and did not return till almost 1 PM, the room still had not taken out the trash. Then I went out to get food and run errands around 1:30 PM and did not return around 3:51 PM but there was still no sign of housekeeping of the "light cleaning" in my room. I saw the paper that was given to me and scanned the "Request" if I needed something, and it forwarded me to the Facebook Messenger page. at 3:51 PM, I left a message asking if Housekeeping would be cleaning my room today, room *** (3MAR), no answer. Then I sent a follow-up message around 5:35 PM asking if anyone was monitoring the FB messenger page and no answer. So, I called Hotel Services around 6:15 and asked if they could transfer me to the front Desk, the employee (I did not get her name) answered that she could transfer me however, when the employee transferred me, it went to Security instead of the Front Desk. So, I asked Security if he could transfer me and his reply was "I am brand new here, I do not know how to use and transfer the phone".
So, I hung up the throne and called Hotel Services again to transfer to Front Desk, at first, she said they were busy, but she transferred me anyway. The Front Desk answered the phone and I asked, "Is housekeeping still cleaning the room" The Front Desk said "I am not sure, but I will ask" before I hung up the phone, I told the Front Desk to call me first before sending housekeeping to my room.

Room condition and view pool were good. But the service was the worst.
There was no guidance on using a tumbler upon check-in, and neither bottled water nor a tumbler was provided. I requested a tumbler, but they didn't bring it, so I had to go down to the front desk and ask for it again.
The coffee pot was too dirty to use, so I asked for a replacement, but it wasn't provided for a long time.
From the first day, the body wash in the room was not refilled, so even though I requested a refill, it wasn't delivered for several hours, so I couldn't wash it.
They said they would replace the towels if I left them on the floor, so I left them on the floor. Even though I requested replacements at the front desk, they weren't replaced at all when I went out, so I had to ask for them again. Instead of putting them in the bathroom by size, I left them in a bag on the nightstand next to the bed. . They didn't even clean up the used towels.
We were able to use the lounge by using a club room, but the tables were not cleared and there was no seating information, so we had to sit down ourselves and ask for tables to be cleared.
Lounge access is from 5-7 p.m., but I visited at 6 p.m. and most of the food was not refilled. I waited for it to be refilled, but there were no more refills. I visited for a meal, but since I had nothing to eat, I filled my stomach with chips. Even while I was there to pick up my food, the place was cleared out, so I had to ask again and get my food back.
Good points: Beautiful view, pretty swimming pool, close to Tumon Beach, good breakfast
Bad: Everything else.

I went there with my family. It was the first time since COVID-19, and it was the first overseas trip for the two high school students, so we were really looking forward to it. We stayed in two rooms next to each other for two nights. Housekeeping is not good. On the first day, we enjoyed activities at the beach and came back at 5pm. To my surprise, the room was not made up! Of course, the towels were not changed. I wanted to take a shower right away, but I couldn't. I have traveled abroad many times, but this is the first time I have experienced such a thing. When I called the reception, they said they would do it right away, but of course there was no response. If that was the case, I could at least say, "I want to take a shower, so please bring me some towels" (they promised to speak Japanese, but there are almost no people who do that), and they would just contact the house lady. The service I expect from the front desk was not provided at all. Anyway, when I said "right away," a man brought towels for one room. I had told them at the beginning that two rooms were being used by one family, so I gave them two room numbers. Anyway, it was cold, so I took a shower, gathered up the towels I had, wiped myself off, and changed my clothes. Of course I went to the front desk directly to tell them, but the cleaning didn't come until after 6pm on the second night either. After going to the beach and the pool, I returned to my room at around 3pm, but it hadn't been cleaned. I was prepared for that, so I used the towels I'd left out the day before.
Unbelievable. It was a very unpleasant trip.
I don't feel like writing about how beautiful and fun the beaches were in other parts of Guam.
I didn't even get the service I'd expected with the Hyatt name, the normal service. It's so sad.

This hotel is in no way up to the standards of a Hyatt Regency. The staff was polite and courteous so credit where it is due. The facility was more of a Holiday Inn than a Hyatt. You’re in the island so fine. The dining was less than a one out of 10 went to get the buffet found out. It wasn’t open till 7 AM. I had a teetime so could not eat there. Had to saddle for some microwave noodles from the deli at 10:10 I go back to have lunch as I didn’t get a good breakfast. Turns out the restaurant closes at 10 and it was back to the deli so I ordered room service after 43 minutes of waiting. I called the front desk who tell me it can take an hour to get room service Very very very much less than acceptable. Save your money or stay someplace else.

I requested an extra bed in the twin bed room and a Hollywood bed setting, which was reflected well.
(Bed guards were not provided.)
Because we were traveling with an infant, we were upgraded to a family room on the 8th floor, so we were able to stay spacious and comfortable.
Soundproofing seems a bit lacking. I could hear a pounding sound from above.
They gave me baby sunglasses when I checked in, so I wore them throughout my trip.
They say that the accommodations in Guam are very old, but I didn't notice that much while staying there.
It was so humid that I couldn't turn on the air conditioner. (Air conditioner temperature can be adjusted)
I didn't request a dehumidifier, but personally I was fine without it.
I went there after seeing that the water in the pool was warm.
Rather than being artificially warm, I think it's warm because of the sunlight.
It was a little disappointing that the swimming pool was open until 7 o'clock. (Long slides close at 6pm)
All basic amenities including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap are provided.
Instead of bottled water, they provide a water bottle and you have to drink it from a water purifier.
I brought a shower filter because I had a baby, but the color changed to yellow on the third day.
Overall, I was quite satisfied with the location, facilities, and service.
Next time I go to Guam, I have 100% intention to go again!! Hahaha

There weren't many people on the day I went. I stayed at the PIC for 3 days and the Hyatt for 3 days. Even at the PIC, there weren't many people, but there were some ants, and the food wasn't tasty, but I went there because of my child, and when I came to the Hyatt, it was clean and the breakfast variety wasn't that large, but it was a bit more luxurious. It was delicious. Of course, children prefer the PIC buffet. There weren't many menu items that elementary school children could eat.
The convenient part was requesting an app. If you apply for the necessary items through the app, they leave towels in front of the door, so when you come in after an activity, you can apply through the app and take the towel in front of the door, so it's perfect, so I did that. It was a hot day and I had to shower each time I did the activity twice a day, so I needed a lot of towels. I liked that the app wasn't too burdensome.

Shopping and dining are within walking distance of the hotel. There’s also a free bus ride to the Micronesia Mall and the premium outlet mall.
Yes. I went the night before to pay for my whole bill instead of paying for everything after. You do have to put a security deposit down for the room. This can be done over the phone with a credit card, or in person with cash/card.
