I stayed here with three colleagues. This was my second time staying here, having stayed here with my family about 20 years ago.
We booked a two-bedroom unit, but ended up with a three-bedroom unit on a low floor (third floor).
The view was terrible.
We had expected it to be worn out, but it was worse than we had imagined. Also, the Wi-Fi was weak and unusable. Cleaning was done once every two days.
Still, I don't think you'll find a condo like this in Guam. You'll need a car, but if you're used to it, I'd recommend it.

No longer a hotel but offers only monthly leased fully furnished rooms for a steal! Stayed there many times for many weeks. Guam, the poor man's Hawaii, lacks good ocean front condo rentals like Hawaii has in abundance. ABT gives you the best views, location and service for a good price. Price is about one forth that of the non-view and far away Leo Palace!! Service is great and repairs or help is 24/7. It's an older condo so often needs something to be fixed. But who cares for that price. We usually get the pool and hot tub to ourselves because residents staying there are long term working forlks with no time to play. All the better! But please don't go because it's always fully booked and I won't be able to get a room! And hey, been there many times and never had "burgler" problems. Securtiy is tight. Cameras everywhere.

I was in Guam for work but wished I brought my family. I stayed in a suite which was a 3bd/2ba. Two of the rooms had two twin beds. There was an incredible amount of space as well as a washer/dryer inside the unit. I would say a family of 5-6 would be comfortable here. The kitchen was a good size with fridge and dishwasher. The location of the tower was great. It was about 10min to the airport and about 5min drive to the shopping areas. There are some places that were walking distance (in my opinion). There is also a small market/store across the street from the tower. The beach was right in front of the hotel and there was a place right next door where you could take advantage of some water sport activities. In my opinion this is a great place for families. I also liked that they had vending machines in the lobby. The staff did an amazing job at cleaning the rooms. The only downside was the inconvenience of one working elevator, the wifi in the room was okay. I couldn't stay on calls long enough and I couldn't download large files like a movie. If you're just browsing on the Internet, it works well. There is no "do not disturb" sign, and no information sheet. Also, no tours offered at this location. The place is a little out dated but that doesn't matter since the place has all the amenities you would need. The pool was nice and clean and open from 0700-11pm. This was a nice quiet and safe place. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because a few times I had a lot of things I was carrying in and the door I came through was heavy. I don't understand why it doesn't stay propped open. The staff observed me and didn't offer to help with the door. I saw a lady with a large cart of items struggling as well and no one offered to help her either. Other than that, great place for family. Recommendation: Bring detergent pods/dishwasher tabs. Soap is not provided to wash dishes.

So my family and i stayed there for military housing for about 2 years. It was so bad u should never stay there at all. their workers know wen the security cameras are broken and steal from ur cars. They also go into ur condo wen u leave and steal valubles. They stole our jewelry and some luggages[which we foun out after we moved into a house] But every tym we used the disposal it came out thru the bathroom. Also things always broke and the ppl at the front desk are not good with customer service. Another thing was that their pool was never changed with new water they just added more clorine.

Alupang was nice in the 80s but it hasn't been renovated and it needs it! There is no internet and you take your life in your hands trying to cross the 6 lane street to get to the coffee shop to get wifi. The decor is outdated with southwestern colors and the pink carpets are stained and worn and there is no A/C in the lobby or anywhere in the hotel except in your rooms for a steep fee on top of the $2500 a month rental. (A three room apartment costs an additional $300+ for electricity for 15 days with the thermometer set at 78 degrees. My four bedroom, 2 story house on Guam costs $378 for A/C-- so you can see how they rip you off). Only one of the 3 elevators work and you wait and wait and wait in the 90 degree heat of the hotel. The hallway walls are covered with red and brown stains and sand is all over the floors. The hotel has no rugs at the entry doors or a shower or way to rinse off before you come into the hotel from the beach and sand is everywhere. The one plus is you can see the sunset if you go down to the pool or to the beach. But If you are looking for somewhere to stay on Guam for a rental, check into Ladera Tower.
Also, you have to bring your own towels, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, water etc., There is no housekeeping, ice, or water to drink on premises. DO NOT stay at the Alupang unless you like slumming it and don't care about stale cigarette smoke, garbage smells, leaking faucets and like paying through the nose for a sub standard room with no internet.

I loved it! The apartment is big and clean, and the furniture are really nice. Everything worked well and it really has all you need to enjoy your stay. The thing I loved the most is the view.. just stunning! The staff is welcoming and helpful. The facility has a pool, a Jacuzzi, a nice parking lot, and a gym (not suitable for avid lifter, but definitely fine for a quick workout). The location is also very nice. The building is literally on the beach (basically if you jump from the balcony you get into the water), right next to the building there is a water sports center, and it's 5 min drives from supermarkets, shopping malls, bars and clubs. I highly recommend it!

The lobby was poor and the old carpeted hallways had dark burgundy carpet that reminded me of old 70s earth tones. Could definitely use a face lift. The room was OK but not at all worth the price. There is only one stairway from the upper parking level to the lobby. There was maintenance going on on the doors to the lobby and it was hard to figure out how to get to the lobby. Building looks great from the outside but inside gets a big NO.

Place for military folks staying for a short time. Way overpriced for what you get. Location is okay. Rooms were very large and had great air conditioning. Staff was friendly. The beach access to jet skiing and other water sports is right there, so that is fun.

The staff here are pretty good. I feel bad that they work in such a dump. Plus one star for staff and the view.

We stayed on the top floor in a suite because we had a large group. The hotel advertises a king bed in the master and 3 bathrooms. The bed in the master was a queen (problem since it was two friends sharing a bed, not a couple) and there were only 2 showers in the place. They also advertised a fully stocked kitchen but had no microwave. The walls were dirty, as they had not been cleaned or painted in years. The wall outlets were coming out of the walls. There were ants in the kitchen. The shower upstairs had so little pressure it was dripping. The sheets felt like sandpaper. The comforters were from the 1980s. You could feel the interior structure of the couch because they were so old and sunken.
The pool's paint was peeling on the floor. The lobby was "under construction", but was basically vacant with no A/C and an abandoned shop and restaurant. They advertised they were close to the city, but we could walk to a couple of restaurants but ended up having to take cabs to get anywhere.
If I wanted to stay in a motel, I would have stayed in a motel. We paid 4 star prices for 1 star quality.

If your coming to Guam on a tight budget, maybe for work, for an extended period, then this place isn't bad. If your looking for a comfortable place to stay with your family with a good restaurant for a vacation then you may need to consider somewhere else. I went there alone, did a little grocery shopping and found the kitchen to be functional, the water pressure in shower was good, and plenty of hot water. Like the other reviews state, the place is outdated and run down, but if you go in knowing that, then you will find the room themselves to be clean and sufficient enough to call the place home for a short time. The Staff is very friendly and cooperative.
If you order room service to clean your room during your stay, it costs $100.00.
No wifi, but you are right on the beach.

Hafa Adai, Thank you for your inquire. Unfortunately, we do not have a restaurant at the Alupang Beach Tower. There is an international buffet restaurant "La Brasserie" at our sister company "Holiday Resort Guam" and we can provide free transportation. As for nearby restaurant, there is Subway across the road and there is GPO food court. We do also provide free transfers to GPO. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us again. Thank you and have a great day! Emma Fujikawa OTA sales assistant
