The hotel is hidden away behind some buildings, with the hotel sign not visible, making it difficult to find. The parking area is small, but always had sufficient parking for my car. The lobby is spacious and newly renovated, but the amenities noted on the website were not available during my stay (i.e. Café in the lobby and robes in the room).

The rooms were not equipped with coffee or tea, and for the first few days did not have cups for hot water to make tea after I purchased some. No washcloths were provided in the room, nor were the rooms as spacious as they look on the website.

I didn't not like it, but if I were visiting Guam for vacation travel again, I may or may not stay here. The jury is still out.

We needed a good economical hotel near the airport for an overnight transit stop in Guam – Hotel Tano definitely fit the bill. Only about 10 minutes from the airport, though right in the heart of things, this hotel offers everything you need for a stay in Guam. The hotel is actually an older building that has been renovated into a smart, modern establishment. Outside, it’s still a bit rough around the edges, but I assume that the landscaping and refining will take place over coming months. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable with all the standard mod cons, including good, fast Wifi internet. The only complaint was that the AC wasn’t really cold enough, even though it was at its coldest setting. The bed was comfy and we had a reasonably good view out of our window. The gym looked quite good with a decent selection of high-quality cardio machines, machine weights, and free weights. Overall we had a great stay for our 1 night transit stop, and we think it would definitely make a good, economical base for your entire stay in Guam.

It is a newly built hotel located near the beach and some restaurants. The rooms were clean and spacious with modern decorations. Staff were very kind and accommodating. I would like to commend Richelle from the front desk who went the extra mile by jotting down recommended tourist sites, many of which we really enjoyed. Overall very happy with our experience here and would definitely stay here again if we ever go back to Guam.

The receptionists all seem very young and inexperienced . This property charges $50 for early check in even when mostly unoccupied . We used the lobby restrooms to change clothes since our room was “not
ready”. The bathrooms were dirty with trash all over the floors .
Our room was small, some of the windows had no curtains. When we went to our assigned room,
the keys did not work. We had no hot water for showering , and only bath towels . No hand
towels or wash cloths . No tv except subscription channels . No plans to stay here again.
2 rating because room was clean. (Besides lobby bathrooms)

I had a 2:30 AM flight, and the hotel I was staying at was booked, so I thought I'd give Hotel Tano a try. I just wanted to get a few hours of sleep and repack my suitcase before my flight. They're doing some work on the hotel, but that didn't bother me. A guy at the front desk offered to help with my luggage, which was very nice. The amenities were great, but the room was average with cement floors. What takes my review from average/very good to poor is the security dude who came knocking on my door at almost 10 pm. I thought some kids were goofing around, because it was loud and not just a simple knock. No, it was security. He apologized, and he said he thought the room was vacant. What? I don't know what the deal really was, but he woke me up for no good reason, and I wasn't happy. I guess I should be glad that he didn't just walk in on me.

Excellent high end boutique hotel. Staff is exceptional and accommodations are fantastic. Will recommend to everyone. If you enjoy quiet and luxury this is the hotel for you. Lots to do and positioned near all the shops and excitement. Loved it!

In my opinion, this hotel is the best bang for your buck in Tumon. It has been recently and tastefully renovated. The rooms are clean, bright, smartly designed. The beds are comfortable and the kitchenettes are well-equipped. All the amenities are new such as the plates, cutlery, towels, and the super comfortable bath robes. The staff also go out of their way to accommodate guests. The only drawbacks to this hotel are that it is not right on the beach (although only a short 10-min. walk away) and there is no breakfast.

AWESOME NEWLY RENOVATED BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN TUMON!

Stayed at Hotel Tano for about a month, and the hotel was the perfect property for us while on remote work/vacation on Guam visiting family and friends over our kids summer break.

The hotel had just completed their renovation and conversion to a newly renovated boutique hotel. We loved the modern design and concept of the property and of the Premier Suite we had stayed in. We also loved the view of Tumon Bay and It’s sunset from our suite. The property is also centrally located on Tumon, where we made the daily walk to Fujita beach which was about a 5 minute walk and the main Tumon shopping strip which was about a 10 minute walk.

Staff were superb, as others mentioned on here. They welcomed us with the Hafa Adai spirit, they were attentive to our family’s needs during our stay, and at times a couple steps ahead in insuring we had a great stay. They sure made us feel like family. These individuals includes (Brandon, Robinson, Sam, Rey, Oz, Misty, Josh, Jay, Mark, Sheryl, and Jamie) A couple specific individuals that made our stay extra special, were Oz and Misty. Oz Lobby Host, consistently greeted us as we departed the hotel to kick-off our day and welcomed us back in the evening as we returned back to the hotel from our fun filled day. Oz would also check in on us to insure we were having a great stay. Misty our room attendant, was consistent in servicing our room, and would consistently check in to see if we needed any additional room amenities during our stay. It was refreshing to come back from our day to a clean room. My kids also loved the care that Misty had put towards their stuff animals.

Overall an AWESOME stay, and we are looking forward to staying again and will be recommending Hotel Tano to our stateside friends & family who are in search for a hotel on Guam.
