Nestled in a picturesque, family-friendly spot, the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina garners appreciation for its attentive service and luxurious amenities like the spa and various leisure options. While the rooms offer commendable amenities and views, some guests suggest improvements in size and upkeep. Despite its serene atmosphere, there's a call for livelier evening activities, and noise can occasionally be an issue. Cleanliness is a strong suit, barring a few balcony concerns. However, the hotel's remote location and pricing have led some to question the overall value, citing expensive dining and activities.

I stayed here for a couple nights my two children. They had a great time playing at the beach and in the tranquil waters of the bay (where I didn’t have to worry about large waves or undertow). They also loved the kids pool with the sand (or mini-rock bottom). Although the hotel isn’t close to the center of Honolulu is it a good base for you to tour around. For example, it was a short drive to Pearl Harbor. The staff is very nice and well trained and the food is good. There is plenty of seating at breakfast and no waiting (which is great with hungry kids). Our room was very spacious with a separate tub and shower and little robes and slippers for my kids (they love them and want to buy one for home). They also gave us kids toiletries which was much appreciated along with sea turtle stuffed animals and little sponges in the bathroom spelling out my kids names. The property does not have the intimate feel of some of four seasons smaller properties but for a large multistory building the did a good job making feel welcoming. And it is considerably cheaper than some of the more boutique feeling properties.

Everything was top notch! Our experience at all levels was amazing. We felt so welcomed and taken care of the entire stay. Our son was recognized personally in the room with his name in the tub spelled out with cute sponges, bubble bath/body wash and even an adorable turtle stuffed animal on the bed. I don’t think we can stay anywhere else after this

GolfAhoy booked us a Prime Corner Oceanfront Room at the Four Seasons Ko Olina for four nights before embarking on our 7-day circle the Hawaii Islands golfing cruise.

GolfAhoy got us the pay for three nights and the fourth night is free deal.

Another appreciated GolfAhoy perk was the inclusion of free breakfasts daily during our stay.

The hotel's proximity to premier golf courses, especially the Ko Olina course makes it a great choice for golf travelers.

The staff are welcoming and polite. Food and waiter service is a 10 out of 10.

My only negative observation concerns the ugly food spill stains on the slate surrounding the main pool chaise lounges.

I stayed 4 nights at the resort and had an amazing time. The scenery is just beautiful. We paid extra for a prime corner oceanfront room. This was on a higher floor (9th). I don’t know that the corner room was worth the extra $100 per night but definitely recommend an ocean view! We did have an extra deck but the roof/rail went up to upper chest level so the view was not *quite* as good for that reason, as compared to a waist level railing. But I was very happy with the room, the view, the service, the food. We loved relaxing at the beach. The staff put covers on the beach chairs and we had beach food and beverage service that was available but never pushy. Complimentary paddle board and snorkel rentals. The water in October was VERY pleasant. We loved heading to the adult pool at sunset for an amazing view and a drink from Dr Mai Tai. I would absolutely recommend and hope to visit again some day b

The staff were amazingly accommodating from check in to check out! We appreciated every moment of our time at the resort and at the restaurants. It was clear to us, (hyper-allergy peeps) that the room and bedding was laundered with high-quality, non-chemical cleaners.

The only surprise was that the hot water in our room did not get hot for a shower.

Amazing hotel with great ambience and unparalleled service.

I find it hard to review this hotel as there are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe this amazing hotel. There are three pools at the hotel, but we only stayed at the adults only pool. We were escorted to our choice of lounge chairs and were promptly provided with two glasses of ice water. When the ice cubes in the water melted it seemed like they were instantly replaced with fresh ice water as the pool attendees would throw out the old water and replace with fresh ice water. We were provided with different refreshing “snacks” at the pool throughout the day. Another nice touch was that there were pyramids of towels throughout the pool area, so we could easily grab a new towel each time we got out of the pool.

The property is very pretty with some small waterfalls and koi fish streams spread throughout. This amazing property was matched by unparalleled service as it seems that every employee was smiling as they went out of their way to provide exceptional service. For instance, when we arrived at the hotel, the bellman offered to get us ice and also brought us other items that we requested. At other hotels during our stay in Hawaii (eg. Grand Hyatt on Kauai) the bellman pointed us to the ice machine and nicely told us to call housekeeping regarding other items.

Where the Four Seasons excelled is that the employees would go above and beyond their prescribed responsibilities to proved this unparalleled level of service.

I have been to some amazing hotels over the years for which I have always complained and whined about how expensive they were. The Four Seasons at Ko Olina was expensive, but for the first time ever, I did not complain about the cost. My extreme thanks to the hotel and staff for making the first leg of our Hawaii adventure so amazing.

We have stayed at many Four Seasons properties around the world and this one sadly was my least favourite. This is the first time that I am not awarding 5 stars to a Four Seasons hotel.
In all the photos the gigantic, loud and very unattractive Disney Resort right next door has conveniently been omitted.
We came from the Kahala Resort and expected a huge upgrade as the price difference was substantial. $1200 per night for 2 rooms at the Kahala and $3000 for 2 standard rooms at the Four Seasons excluding any meals. However, the price differential was not worth it and I was very disappointed.
If you have noisy kids this is the place to come. Not recommended for a honeymoon couple or for anyone wanting some peace and quiet.
Pros:
The usual very friendly and efficient staff who were very helpful. Beds were very comfortable and thankfully our sons are over 18 so we enjoyed the adult pool. The hotel’s Whatsapp is great and an efficient way to ask a question or arrange restaurant or taxi.
bookings.
Housekeeping did a great job, thank you.
Cons:
A lot of noise from the hotel next door.
Crowded man made beach shared with Disney hotel
Crowded pool full of children. The beach and hotel pool felt and looked more like an average
family hotel. It was a mess, toys and towels lying everywhere. Thankfully we could use the adults pool. Rooms all have sliding door shutters which do not close properly. The hotel however kindly had blackout curtains immediately installed for us, requiring no waiting time so I’m assuming they have had a lot of complaints about light coming into the rooms.
First breakfast we had ketchup accidentally dropped by the server which splattered everywhere, like warm coffee served to me and a stone was found in the food. The hotel kindly took care of the breakfast bill but it was not a good start.
Upon arrival I had to request another room as the next door room (L shaped) literally looked straight onto my bed. Very questionable design.
My younger son shared a room with his brother and slept on the sofa bed. He did not sleep well as the mattress is very thin and hard.
All in all, I have always been prepared to pay a lot more for a Four Seasons holiday but on this occasion, the price was sadly not justified.

The place looks nice and the employees are friendly. But what I didn’t like was that we paid extra for an ocean view room and they gave us one with a partial ocean view, and the bathroom was very small. We had to go complain at the reception, and then they gave us another room supposedly with an ocean view, but it was a partial view and had a wall in the middle. For what we paid, the experience is not worth it. Also, the restaurant is very expensive for the type of food they have. I thought the Four Seasons was an exclusive hotel for what we paid, but it is not. Another thing is that it doesn’t have parking; you have to use valet parking and they charge $50 per day.

great location,, reserved oceanfront room on 16th floor. very nice. property is a bit dated... noticeable from the elevators. housekeeping is excellent and attentive. concierge is terrible. for some bellmen, if you don't allow them to take your luggage upon arrival, you feel shunned by them the rest of the trip. terrible customer service. pool and beach service is ok. some personnel are better than others. supervisor needs to supervise and get everyone on the same page of high quality customer service. family pool twice a week is interrupted by scuba diving lessons for any sucker willing to pay 170.00 per 30min for their 8yrold to play with scuba gear in a 3ft pool!!! therefore, family time in the pool is taken away. at the rates customers are charged daily to have full access to the facilities here, it doesn't make alot of sense for the property to allow this. bottom line, consumers should expect ALOT more from the season's at any location given their reputation especially given the price per night to stay. it just seems these people in ko olina, HI are only interested in squeezing tourist for every dollar by only providing average to below average service. be mindful of this property when choosing a hawaiian holiday.

The family enjoyed a lovely Christmas vacation. Though the smaller rooms don’t match the expected Four Seasons brand as they are too small, there are larger well appointed options available. Furnishings were comfortable and housekeeping staff were excellent. Front desk, concierge, and food and beverage were well trained, polite and proactive problem solvers. The multiple swimming pools were great family gathering locations and an adult pool was more tranquil than expected. Children’ program was well run and included creative options for hands on learning.

The food and beverage outlets seem too small to safely accommodate guests when the hotel is full. The shared Lagoon with the Disney property was overused and possibly not very clean during certain tides.

Let the hotel know the type of room location you prefer…swimming pool area music can last into the night, nearby Luau ends between 9 and 10 p.m., mountain views can include parking lot view, etc.
