Beautiful resor with lots of nearby great eating. The only negative was that it was very windy for the whole trip. It would be nice if they had a real restaurant on the premises. Great pools, including a “quiet”one.

This was our first visit to Waiohai, but not our first to Kauai. The property and staff were outstanding! Special thanks to Vic who greeted us upon our late arrival to the Resort. Our 2 bedroom villa was nice and we stayed n Villa 4302. I would request it again the next time we

While I can't rate this as a 5-star hotel due to age of rooms, linens and (absence of) concierge/restaurants onsite, I would highly rate this hotel for families and large groups. I highly suggest leveraging the full kitchen and washer/dryer during your visit; we spent a lot of

This restaurant is very convenient since it is directly on the beach. This makes for a great spot to grab some lunch while on the beach. My husband and I got a little hungry so we ordered two burgers which comes with bacon (I didn’t want bacon), lettuce, tomatoes and onions,

Great for our family of 5. The set up could not have been better! Loved the location and the pool was nice temp after being in the ocean. We found a beach a little farther down to the right of the hotel- passed Koa Kea and near the Sheraton that we liked more than just out front

What are the on-site restaurants?
Yes, the Honu Bar is oceanside and has a limited (but tasty) menu - open all day. When we were there they offered a sunset dinner on the lawn that was reasonably priced and was fun to attend. That was offered once a week, and is seasonal. There are several places that are walking distance, most notably Brenneke's . Across the street in the Poipu Village are many dining options, some inexpensive, but not all. Also across the street is a taco place that gets very good reviews. Don't recall the name.

Is the beach here good for swimming and snorkeling?
We snorkeled at the beach right next to the resort (to the east). It was OK, but not nearly as good as excursions we went on. We heard that beach a bit to west was very good, but we didn't try that. It was still fun though. Swimming was great everywhere.

Is the beach here good for swimming and snorkeling?
It can be a little rough but it is good for swimming. I feel like there are better places to Snorkel, but it is not bad.

No daily house keeping but a mid week ‘fresh up’ towels etc! No parking fee! Actually there is lots of underground parking it’s actually so clean you could almost eat off the garage floor! I was stunned by how clean and cool it was. We were on the 4th floor and were asked to Sort’ our trash and take it down to parking level where there are pre sorted trash cans! We were there for 12 days be sure to watch for the seals which come up everyday and lay on the beach in front of the resort. They have volunteers who help keep people away about 20 feet or so, but some lay out all day If you rent a cabana or anything else for that matter you only get to use it unt 4:30pm and they come and take it away But I can’t get over how clean the garage floor is, painted and shiny looks like it’s washed daily but it’s not! That was the biggest shock of the week

Sorry, don't remember! But if I had to guess, I would say $25/day.

"Avoid Hale 4 Island View as all you get is a parking lot to look at!"
"It appears that owners get the views. Guests are put in the back. But, all was good."
"The only way to get a good room is to Own at the Resort"
"Chose a hare (building) toward the back away from beach if you want quiet."
"The best rooms are reserved for the customer owners, but just make sure you are not overlooking the parking lot and you should be good."
