We have collaborated with celebrity-chef and James Beard award winner Sam Choy on our poolside Holoholo Grill which features a combination of American and traditional Hawaiian cuisine. Other amenities include a 4,000 sq ft day spa, 24-hour fitness center, gourmet marketplace, soccer field, volleyball court, and putting green.
We had a really good stay, the property, pool, and room were amazing. I love that they had an adult's only pool, as well as the Giant pool with the water slides. The only criticism I have was the pool side servers weren't as friendly as one would hope, but maybe they were just short staffed or just stressed with the amount of people. Besides that five stars all around.
This is our absolute favorite place to stay! Amazing aloha spirit, pool, rooms, food, and customer service put this place as a must stay! Mahalo to the entire team including GM, Andy on making this our best family vaca! Mahalo! The Maxwell’s
I love everything about my stay. The staff was a perfect fit for all my needs. I have one issue. The hotel needs to get a better gym. The size of the gym is very small and there isn't enough training machine for people in their 60's . My days of free weight training is behind me. Plus they need to get a better upright bike. The grounds are beautiful and all three pools were very enjoyable. My room fit my needs and it was very nice to have a washer and dryer available inside the room. The restaurant on the property has both a great pool side menu and great dinner menu.
Great pool, drinks and food! Plus a great location to the beach and the rooms are nicely updated and have everything you need. Check in was easy plus they were able to get us in for early check in - great service
This hotel was wonderful. I upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite with kitchen and it made all the difference. Kauai is outstanding-we hiked, ziplined, hiked some more, swam in all kinds of different beaches. FYI, you won’t swim right at the Marriott in the ocean but it’s an easy walk. I definitely recommend an SUV and a vehicle is a must.
It’s a great location - central for most of our island adventures. The rooms are nice, the service is good, and yes, the pool is the best. We love Poipu and the shopping and eating nearby. It’s our favorite place to stay on the island. There’s no direct beach access. You’ll have to travel 1/2 mile or more to get in the water, but not a big deal for us. We would go driving for that experience anyways.
Fabulous experience! Service is amazing. Grounds and pool are beautiful. The views are also incredible. We stayed five nights and hated to leave. If you are on an adult vacation, you might not love all the kids and families everywhere, but it was perfect for us and my teens LOVED IT.
This place exceeded expectations! We stayed in the 3bd villa. We had two families of 4 and we had more than enough room. Beds were super comfy and even the pullout couch was comfortable. We had the room next to the family pool and it was great for kids to run around and back/forth to pool. The restaurant on property was awesome! Great food for a hotel restaurant. Good prices too! Best perk is that they have shuttle service close to property which we took to Poipu beach and even Longs store (which the alcohol selection was incredible there, FYI!). Our shuttle guys- Ruben and Bernard- were so friendly and helpful. All the staff frankly was great. Highly recommend this place for a family vacation!! We will definitely be coming back here.
This is my favorite place to stay, out of every place I've ever stayed. From the fabulous pools, to the full kitchen and all the other great amenities, to the location and the views, there's nothing I would change. I love this place!
This is my family’s 2nd time at this resort. The rooms are amazing and the grounds are beautiful. We stayed in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen unit. The front desk staff was very welcoming and kind, also the cleaning staff was very sweet. This resort claims to have the best pool in America, while the pool is beautiful and you can get a chair pretty easily, the pool staff and waitresses are very rude and don’t practice the Aloha spirit. There are no lifeguards on duty which can be concerning however there is a water slide with an attendant. I had a disturbing encounter with the slide attendant who’s name begins with a J! This very bitter woman banned my son from the water slide for the day over false claims that she did not witness by another bitter attendant. My son is 8 and would never do what they claimed he did. I was not informed by anyone about this and just found my son in the pool sobbing too embarrassed to tell me what happened. I witnessed J on her phone the whole time she was supposed to be monitoring the kids and proceeding to scream and yell at other children. I confronted her and asked what happened and she was unbelievably rude and condescending to me. My husband also talked to her and she changed her story and was very rude to him as well. We did report her to the hotel manager and the manager was very sweet and helpful. Yes dealing with tourist and their kids can be annoying I get that but being bitter and ruining a family’s pool day on their vacation with false claims and making a sweet 8 year old boy cry is over the top for me. Just a warning to parents monitor how your children are being treated at this pool especially in the slide area. We can get caught up rightfully so and let our guard down on vacations with our children.…
