My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Banyan Harbor on Kauai! We loved everything about this resort and location. The staff was so friendly and helpful! Kiki and Lyle were especially helpful when we had questions about the property and activities. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath and were so pleased with the amount of space! We made it our home for the week! Our daughter loved the pool and being able to walk to Kalapaki Beach. Thank you so much for a great stay! A hui hou!

We were 4 adults and found the place spacious. 2 bathrooms is great. Patio was appreciated. The bbq area can be far if your condo is at the other end… and there was only 1 table in that area The condo itself is well situated if you want to do excursions in the west and in the North. It puts you at a central point between the 2. (An hour’s drive from both) If you only want to visit the North… stay in the North as it offers more scenic views and charming towns than the East.

Difficult entry. 29 steep slippery stairs - wet from dripping air con. Noisy air con in unit and neighbour’s air con. Service fees paid at time of arrival were huge and we should have had prior warning of that.

My family of 4 adults found this resort to be clean and comfortable. It was a nice center island location for tours. The unit was well maintained and modern. Across the street was a nice beach with restaurants, Dukes and Portifinos and a small mall. Beach rentals, chairs, umbrellas, body boards paddle boards are available at two different vendors across the street with day and week prices. Nice.pool with an ocean and mountain view. You can see the docked cruise ships as well. Very close to the airport and air-conditioned.

There were baby cockroaches that would come out at night. Mainly in the kitchen and bathroom. But we found a couple in our bedroom and living room as well. We had a lot of food on the countertop that we had to throw away and waste.

The Banyon is a wonderful property. We had a marvelous time and found little to complain about. The property is outdated in decor but offers a wonderful salt water pool that is kept very clean and inviting. We did not rent a car and were on recovery from health issues so sight seeing was not our goal. Dukes is right across the street with a fantastic beach for surfing and swimming. The housing is very clean and offers room as to not feel cramped. The airconditioning unit in the second bedroom was aimed directly at the head of the bed and that was our only bad experience and we used the sofa pullout instead of the bedroom. The views can be fantastic or horrible, with solar panel views on some of the upper units, so that is something to ask about, but all in all the property was inviting, clean and the staff was wonderful. The bus can be taken directly in front of the property and it goes every hour so if you are like us and do not rent a car you can still get around. Kiki is a great concierge and Crystal is a great manager, so you should find a great time had by all.…

Stayed here for a week with my parents and my girlfriend, first time in Hawaii for all of them. They really enjoyed. Ceiling fans made the temperature very comfortable without the need to run AC. Loved the in unit laundry.

Our visit this year to Banyan Harbor was relaxing and beautiful - as it always is! Krystle at reception was welcoming and ready for us. The resort staff was courteous, quick, and efficient when we asked for anything. The facility was in great condition and our room was clean. Kiki the Concierge is knowledgeable and helpful. Our stay was delightful. It's great the Banyan harbor is in the middle of Kauai for heading north or west.
