I’ve eaten here several times, usually only for special occasions because the price is ridiculously expensive for mediocre food. The Turkey dinner used to be good, with juicy freaky carved Turkey. Well I just ordered the “Turkey Dinner” and was served fried chicken!!! WTF? Do they think I don’t know the difference between carved Turkey and fried chicken? Y’all lost a customer, and my entire family! Never again this place is garbage! $30 mediocre fried chicken, no thanks.

Hotel's Favorite
My husband and I have stayed at this resort about a dozen times. We look forward to each visit. This time we had a Deluxe King in the main building and it was wonderful. We have chosen a room at poolside during the summer, but all other times we prefer the main building. We enjoy the bar, restaurant, and just relaxing in our spacious room. I also greatly enjoy the gift shop - much to my husband’s dismay. We look forward to our next return stay at Little America. Close to the highway, easy access to town, beautiful grounds, impressive decor, friendly and accommodating help.

Was here for an event and had snafu checking in that was difficult to resolve, but was ultimately. Was billed 2 times the website rate for a room that was subpar on almost every level. The linens on the bed are visibly stained, there is minimal housekeeping for getting a room ready in that we found earplugs on the floor from previous guests. Shower mats were tattered. We had 2 rooms both had raggedy bath mats. one room had NO hangers and the other had 4 so we got 2 hangers each room. There is NO ironing board or iron so no shirts can be pressed for event later that night. There are hand held steamers that only make cotton shirts moist rather than crisp. The blackout shades don't close fully so there is no real black out. There are no safety bars in the shower tub combination and it is almost impossible to get out of the tub due to the glass enclosure and narrow tub sides. The carpets are stained throughout the lodging portions of the property. The event and banquet space is very elegant and had impeccable service and is truly night and day in the difference in atmosphere and ambience. Go to any event at the property but stay somewhere else.

The room was clean and adequate, but overpriced for what you get, very outdated. After we settled in our room we went to the lounge for a couple of drinks. The bar maid acknowledged us when we entered so we sat down at a table. We waited and waited and waited, she never came to take our order so I finally got up and went to the bar to order our drinks. Only had a limited selection of domestic beer and only white claw seltzers, yuk, so I ordered a mixed drink for my husband and I. Wow, also overpriced at $7 a drink. Whatever, we had 3 drinks each. We wanted food so went up to the bar to order 2 cobb salads. The bar maid did come to the table and serve those but brought no silverware or salt and pepper, had to ask for them. Got silverware but never got salt/pepper. Neither cobb salad had grilled chicken on them, as listed on menu, and my salad had no hard boiled egg, as listed on menu. When I mentioned to bar maid, she just shrugged her shoulders. I will NEVER stay here again!

The room is old-fashioned "fancy" with furniture that would appeal to great-grandmas. The mattresses and linens were top-notch. The room seemed clean. The bathroom was clean, but the tub surround made it difficult to enter and exit the tub. The hallway needed a good vacuuming. The room doors needed a good scrubbing. The high room rate only provided the room and in-room coffee service--no breakfast. Loved the sliding door and private patio. Parking was limited. Sound proofing is good as we didn't hear other guests.
