We stayed at AmericInn one night before going on to our resort in Door County. It provided a closer, less expensive option for a night that we would be arriving too late to take advantage of the amenities of a lodging. It is conveniently located just off highway 57 south of the heart of Sturgeon Bay. We had a basic hotel room with two double beds. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and noise was low. The desk clerk, Dan, was welcoming and helpful. The breakfast offered was limited by COVID restrictions but was better than others we have experienced under similar circumstance. We would consider AmericInn for a similar stay in Sturgeon Bay.

We visited this location in July.....we like staying at the Americinn hotels. When we arrived we checked in but the reservations were mixed up. The person at the front desk. Lorie did not seem in a very customer friendly mood when we checked in. There were some issues with our reservations that she was attempting to get corrected. Finally we got checked in and into our rooms. The rooms were very clean and the complete property was well maintained. The next day we asked the girl at the front desk for some recommendations for taxi service and she was able to help us out with our request. This property is in a great location just off the highway.

Overall very good property to stay. Bed wasn't as comfy and needs replacing. Cleaning of room is only for guests who stay over 3 days, so you have to reuse towels (green process) and even hanging them up they didn't dry & musty smelling which made room smell same. I'd like to see daily services again & fresh towels. I don't reuse towels at home.
Breakfast was same everyday, cheese omelets, biscuits and gravy all 3 days. Muffins, or scones hard as rock and all wrapped in plastic. I get with covid things changed but variety would be nice with fresh Danish, Muffins, donuts.
Hot tub and pool were great, tub extremely hot but better than Luke warm!!
All in all, would we stay again yes for sure.

We put our home on the market and had completely moved out. On the way to open our camper for temporary living, we decided to stay at AmericInn. Great place to stay. Being deathly allergic to all animals it was great to know they do not allow pets in every room. Staff is friendly, extremely clean and felt like home.

I stayed at the Americinn, when on a fishing trip with my son. The location worked well, the staff friendly and kept clean. We felt very comfortable staying here during the Covid Pandemic, It was peaceful and would recommend this hotel if you don't need to stay downtown on the Bay.

This was a great location for driving to Washington County for biking Door county access for hiking and cherry picking was great. Hotel condition and staff were pleasant and helpful.

Conveniently located at the entrance to Door County, We stayed in a suite with a whirlpool tub, a fireplace and a view of birds feeding. The king bed was comfortable. There was a swimming pool, hot tub and pool table. Breakfast was varied and hearty.

Service and amenities were very subpar especially given the price. Wi-Fi and internet was very spotty and not reliable, room was outdated and not kept up to the current decade. No room service, key cards did not work half the time, toilet barely flushed. Very stuffy and not conducive to good sleep quality. Breakfast was lackluster and gone within 20 minutes of it being available.

On the main road leading into Door County, I felt this was a very convenient location. I love there is a heated indoor pool, as well as 4 pillows on each bed. Check in/out was easy, and the place is clean.

We wanted a hotel in between Green Bay and the rest of Door county. This place fit the bill. The price was reasonable. The rooms were clean, which is a priority. Our room was quiet and beds were comfortable.
We also wanted a place which served breakfast. I would say the breakfast was just average. It would have been nice to have regular scrambled eggs instead of the cheese filled "omelet".

We do not have smoking rooms as of approximately 7 years ago. The entire state of Wisconsin is smoke free in all public environments.
We do have designated outdoor smoking area and rooms near the exits. Please let us know if we will be able to accommodate you in the future.
