Was a great place to stay while on vacation. Very personable staff. We had very comfortable beds in a nice room. The central location was great. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub every evening. It was very relaxing.

We stayed here 3 nights while visiting Door County. There are 2 floors and they do have an elevator. It's a very simple hotel that needs some major updating. There are not any USB outlets in the rooms, the TV was sooo tiny in our king sized room. They do have a Continental breakfast but it's not that great. They have 2 waffle irons, some nasty eggs, sausage links were ok per my husband , chocolate milk, cereal, toast and the basic pastries and juice. The shower floor was super slippery. If you are staying more than 3 days you will receive housekeeping services otherwise you can request fresh towels, etc. We will be staying somewhere else on our next visit...especially for the amount of money they charge .

It was a great experience. The assistant manager was fantastic. She really helped us when we needed to check in early. Very accommodating. Entire staff was friendly. Pool was good. Breakfast was good. The suite we had was perfect in size. Room was very clean.

Last minute trip to Door County. We couldn't get a hotel at our designated location. This hotel was located about fifteen minutes away from our designation, but conveniently located. Many things to see in this area of Sturgein Bay and reasonably priced. It was a super clean, nice hotel with good breakfast.

We stayed here as a family and chose one of the suites to fit out needs. We were very happy with the size and cleanliness of the room. The sofa sleeper was larger than most We have seen, and our kids appreciated the extra space and their own tv. We had a fireplace and jetted tub in our room, we didn't use either but could be nice for others to use. The pool and hot tub were great after busy days exploring, and the proximity to Target was helpful when we forgot items. The breakfast was hot and started the day off right. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our only downside was that at random times the pipes in our sink and jetted tub would make strange noises. We had no idea what would cause it, so if we are a light sleeper it could be troublesome.

I stayed at AmericInn Sturgeon Bay on a Friday & Saturday night when on a recent Door County trip. Overall this was a decent hotel for saving some money by staying in a chain hotel over the weekend nights. It was an old-school AmericInn like my family used to stay in on our summer road trips (in a good way!). I was trying to check-in at 4:30 or so on Friday afternoon, and I was told the room was not yet ready. I tried to be understanding because I know that lots of places are experiencing staffing issues, but I was told to return in 20-30 minutes. Luckily there is a Target right up the street and I needed a few things, so I used the time to make a Target run. I returned 30 minutes later, and the desk clerk said my room was ready. I was given a room on the 2nd (top) floor. I got up there with my hands full of luggage to find that housekeeping was still in there?! The maid said to give her 20 minutes to finish! I was literally told that 30 minutes prior, so I was annoyed that the staff weren’t on the same page. I had plans to go back out, so I just needed to leave my items in the open room and return later in the evening to get everything else taken up. After that, the stay went smoothly, but that was enough for me to need to lower to 4 stars. It was nice to have an elevator for luggage trips, even with only 2 floors. The indoor pool/hot tub area was always nice to use in the evening or in the morning before leaving for the day, and it was rarely crowded. I enjoyed the breakfast both mornings, and this was the only free breakfast I had on the entire weeklong trip, which was really nice! I slept very nicely both nights, and the 2nd floor was quiet, especially with facing away from the parking lot. I would recommend this for any Door County travel!…

We stayed here for the 1st time, and everything was great, fantastic people here. GM is new and doing a great job there. Anything we asked for was always provided. Staff cares about their guests. When area again we will be back there.

Was late after long drive we checked in to find urine in our toilet with lid down that obviously had been there for awhile! 🤢 the smell was SOO horrible!! Some dried white crusty stuff all over black office chair! Thankfully I carry cleaners with me and was able to clean all I could except inside of toilet but after many flushed with cleaner and Lysol spray the smell went away! Dirty carpets—even toenails on carpet so obviously wasn’t vacuumed! Breakfast first day was OK 2nd day we had to go get McDonalds 815am and no food.

We stayed here for a couple nights and had no complaints whatsoever. The room was large and clean and we loved the whirlpool tub in there. It wasn't that bad of a ride up to all of the Door County towns. The front desk workers were all very friendly as well as the breakfast servers. The breakfast was plenty for us and nice to not have to rush down there because of the 6-10 hours. We also used the pool, sauna and hot tub . Nice safe area and we'd certainly stay there again.
