Too bad I can’t even write a review on this place. When I called to check for availability the receptionist was more than rude and not willing to answer my questions. Customer service should be considered, especially for those who haven’t even paid to stay.

This was a perfectly fine place. Good location, friendly staff, and the room we had was good. Nothing fancy, a little bit old, but generally in good shape overall. We would be happy to stay there again on our next trip.

Stayed for 2 nights and experienced very nice accommodations! Enjoyed pizza and the best old fashions in the restaurant on night one, thanks Willy ( bartender) and Mickel ( waiter) for the great service! Will be going back when outdoor music and Tiki bar season kicks off!

I cannot recommend this hotel unless you are an avid golfer who does not pay particularly close attention to other features. In my case, I needed a room for one night and signed up for a >$300 suite overlooking the course (the last room available). The room was just okay. The furniture seemed worn, the towels and linens could use refreshing, and I am not someone who needs a jacuzzi next to the bed. But what sticks out in my memory, and will keep me from ever staying there again, was the maskless staff and clientele. There was a "wear a mask" sign in the lobby but nowhere else. One reception desk person wore a mask. Another wore a saggy mask that fit below her nose. Most other staff members did not wear a mask, including HOUSEKEEPING staff I saw entering rooms without a mask (I asked "are you housekeeping?) Very few of the clientele wore masks either. This place is *not for me* and I can't recommend it for anyone else.

We are a couple with a small dog and were delighted to find this hotel. At less than $200/night it was one of the more affordable options in the greater Door County area. That said the rooms are accurately described in the other reviews: it’s an older facility and some of the rooms (ours included) smell a bit musty. Beautiful location near the water and the front desk staff work very hard to accommodate - they took an order for the in hotel restaurant for me when there was a live band that impacted the restaurant’s phone. We selected the place because it’s dog friendly and because we found other reviews saying that they are taking extra precautions due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. When we stayed, a large wedding party was also staying in the hotel. These guests did not respect the mask mandate and the hotel did not enforce it. While it was a bit off putting to have so many other guests refuse to distance or wear a mask, this was not the hotel’s fault and I don’t blame them. It’s relatively consistent with the greater area as well - if you’re planning a trip. Nice hotel, positive experience but if you’re looking for a location that will enforce a mask mandate consider other options or wait out the health scare.
