Detailed Reviews
We came for a family trip and were extremely happy with our stay. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. We canāt say enough good things about Kerri, the GM who seemed to be working everywhere and did everything from checking us in to cooking our breakfasts for us. Breakfast was fantastic, they had a wide variety of options for hot breakfast and even had Starbucks coffee and blended beverages. Everything throughout the hotel was very clean, they are paying very close attention to all the Covid restrictions and we felt very safe and comfortable during our stay. It is very family friendly with an indoor pool as well as a pool table in a nice lounge area. The hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance of nice restaurants so we didnāt use our car at all during our stay. Highly recommend!

We visited Milwaukee in February and stayed at the Marriott Downtown and enjoyed it immensely. Well-appointed rooms and it will be hosting a VIP delegation this summer during the Democratic National Convention. Harrison, one of the Front Office managers made special efforts to enhance our stay. The Streetcar tour was a real highlight of our visit, along with the lobster dinner at the City Market.

Nice updated hotel. It is fun that it is connected to third street hall. The rooms are super small especially if you are using the pull out sofa bed for a child. A/C was loud and way too many kids in the indoor pool but other than that we liked the starbucks in the lobby and the electric key on our phone app.

First ever in my life that I had to do my bed on my own in a hotel, I m speechless, pictures of how was my room when I returned on the evening to the hotel.
They only clean the room every 3rd day of your stay and won't tell you at check in that you can or should request a daily room cleaning. So I ended up turning down my room myself... 1st time ever in a hotel, just like in my student dorm..
The rooms are rather basic, large, bathroom is basic, no water pressure at the tap/ sink. Not worth your money. Location is acceptable but that's about it. I regret staying there for 140$ a night and having to sleep in a room not cleaned after my 1st day. Shame on this place and it's total absence of service.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay at our hotel. We appreciate your valuable input and would like to address your concerns regarding the change in our housekeeping services. We understand that having your room cleaned daily was the expectation, and we apologize for falling short in meeting your needs during your stay. Marriott's decision to adjust the frequency of housekeeping was made in an effort to prioritize the health and safety of both our guests and staff members. While we understand that this change may not align with your personal preference, we want to assure you that our team is always available to assist with any specific requests or additional supplies you may require. We apologize if this information was not adequately communicated during your stay, and we will take steps to improve our communication regarding our housekeeping services moving forward. Your feedback is crucial to us as it helps us identify areas where we can enhance our guests' experience. We genuinely appreciate your understanding and hope that you will consider giving us another opportunity to provide you with a more satisfying stay in the future. Please feel free to reach out to our team directly if there is anything else we can assist you with. We value your patronage and look forward to the chance of welcoming you back soon.

Being unfamiliar with Milwaukee, I chose this hotel due to the Marriott name and itās location to downtown venues.
The website promotes ā get a good night's sleep inspired by our luxury bedding.ā
That was far from realityā¦. Upon inspection, both mattresses in the 2-queen room were old, worn, torn, stained with what looked liked dried blood and urine. Both mattresses were well beyond any useful life expectancy. One had its side covered in what looked like dried feces chunks.
When shown photos of what I found in my room, the front desk staff apologised and provided another room. The housekeeping supervisor, when shown the beds just said āyukā¦ what is that? That shouldnāt be.ā
My question is why was it not found in what must have been the multiple linen changes of these bedsā¦ this did not ājust occur recentlyā.
I booked 2 roomsā¦. Paid over $700 for 1 night. This experience has me reconsidering Marriott as an option when I travel.

Stayed there last Wednesday customer service was horrible! Room was half cleaned, manger at work in ānight timeā clothes smelling like weed! Cursing and be very disrespectful. āManagerā kids running around the lobby digging they hand all in the complimentary popcorn. āManagerā cursing and yelling at the kids in front of guests. Just plain ghetto, DONOT STAY HERE! General manager was called and she never returned my call, so I guess sheās in on the horrible service! āManagerā didnāt have a name badge on & just sits at the desk on her phone. Worst hotel I ever stayed out, towels were dirty. Bed spread had stains on it and more! Iām traumatized! Proof of reservation in photos so they canāt say this is a fake review! Also stain picture below! Disgusting!

Stayed at this Courtyard on Business and this will now be my Milwaukee Hotel. Great restaurants around all in walking distance.
A gentlemen who was parking cars named, Dylan Trapp, helped us to find great restaurants close by both nights I stayed. Very professional, very helpful.

Location was perfectālots of restaurants and coffee nearby. The 3rd Street Market connection was worth the price aloneāwe spent one night playing shuffleboard and bags while having some drinks.
I liked that there was Starbucks downstairs, but would have liked to have some free options for breakfast. (However, I knew about the costs before booking.)
Room was good, with a comfy bed and relatively quiet A/C. The one hiccup of the trip was the long shelf in the shower. Being at about eye height of someone 6 feet tall, my husband turned and hit his head on the corner of the shelf. He had a horrible headache and was dizzy for the rest of the trip and we almost took him in for a concussion.
We would surely stay again but weāll be looking out for poorly-placed shelves in the future at Marriott locations.

Upon arriving into milwaukee with my family, we went straight to my hotel and was greeted by a very accommodating Valet man named Jared. My daughter is disabled and Jared was extremely kind to her and my entire family even when it took her extra time to leave the car and gather her belongings, once we started checking in, my daughter recognized she had left her favorite stuffed animal in the car and before we could even walk back out of the door, Jared was walking in with her stuffed bear trying to catch us before checking in. The hotel was very nice as well, but Jared was a model man and employee and I will be returning to this hotel.

Pool is open. We did remove the hot tub in the renovation. The full renovation is now complete.
Thank you!
Renovations to the room are complete. The Bistro will be opening Thursday 7/18 and we are very excited. The pool and fitness center are completely redone and open.
Look up Milwaukee Streetcar.
Grand opening is Nov. 2 for the streetcar.
Websites have a lot of information about it.
We are anxious to check it out ourselves.
Yes there is a hot tub in the pool area.
