Hampton Inn & Suites La Crosse Downtown is a stylish new hotel off I-90 at the gateway to downtown, 5 minutes from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Walk to Historic District restaurants, shops, and nightlife, and find the Great River State Trail nearby-we offer guests secure bike storage. Riverside Park is just 2 blocks away for festivals, riverboat tours, and year-round events. Business travelers will enjoy proximity to the La Crosse Convention Center and La Crosse Regional Airport (LSE). Each guest room at our downtown La Crosse, WI hotel features free WiFi, a microwave, a mini-refrigerator, and a coffeemaker. Relax on your clean and fresh Hampton bed while watching the 55-inch HDTV featuring a connected room. A large workspace with ample power outlets makes it easy to stay productive. Upgrade to a studio suite for a separate living area and sofa bed, which is great for extended stays.

This is an excellent hotel. There is very little I could suggest for big improvements. We stayed at a Hampton in the MSP area for the previous couple nights, and this one was just a night and day improvement over that one. The room is solid and in good shape. Wifi was outstanding – I clocked the “Premium” speed at around 50 Mbps. The fitness center is one of the bigger that I’ve seen at a Hampton. Plenty of machines to choose from, including a Peloton. A yoga mat or two would have been nice, but otherwise it’s excellent. Sizable pool, as well. The breakfast area is quite big with some selections that you normally do not see at a Hampton. (I’m looking at you, granola and Chobani yogurt.) We were very pleased to have chosen this Hampton for our evening in LaCrosse.

I was attending a conference with friends at the LaCrosse Center which was an easy safe walk from the hotel. The breakfast has great healthy choices and the staff was very attentive to making sure spills were wiped up and food restocked. The fruit infused water in the lobby was such a treat and you could easily fill your personal water bottle from it. The four pillows on each bed was divine. Hotel was very clean and quiet even though it was very filled. I would definitely stay again.

This hotel is awesome, everything about our stay was exceptional. The front desk and housekeeping staff provided excellent service, they were always available and very friendly. The hotel is spotlessly clean and updated with modern style. Our room was very clean and well-furnished, we appreciated the larger bathroom space and shower with glass doors instead of those clingy shower curtains. We had a minor room issue which was resolved quickly and professionally...just what one wants to happen. We loved the clean, heated, saltwater pool and the adjoining outdoor patio. The extra precautionary measures for our safety were very much appreciated, such as sanitizing wipes at the elevators and signage throughout the building for safe distancing. Although breakfast is now pre-packaged items, the food was delicious and plentiful. For us, the downtown location was safe and convenient. This hotel is one of THE BEST we have ever stayed in and we will definitely be back.

I loved the bathroom set up, the amount of plug ins, couch in room, little table that I could move around, mirrors, shower not a tub shower, doors to bathroom, etc. They made sure the room was free of feathers as I am allergic to them. Great place!

Great stay at this Very Clean hotel! Had a wonderful stay and the hotel was quiet. Service was stellar, especially the breakfast staff. And breakfast was wonderful. Plenty of choices, both hot and cold. Waffles, scrambled eggs, omeletes, sausage, potatoes....etc. You can tell the employees care and take care of everything on the property. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I really enjoyed my recent experience at the Hampton inn & suites La crosse, loved that they were downtown la crosse close to a lot of restaurants, This was my first time staying in la crosse and all I can say is yes I will be returning in the near future, Now let's talk about the awesome Hampton inn & suites, First of all, the hotel is super clean including the room I really the cleanstay door seal on my door, They also have a sticker in the room letting you know what gets extra disinfection and there is a sticker on the bathroom mirror letting you know the bath was disinfected, the tv remote was covered in a plastic bag and there was a sticker on the remote letting you now its clean. This Hampton is definitely up to all Hilton standards, not to mention the bed was even clean i could smell the bleach and laundry detergent on the sheets, No I'm not mad that the sheets smelled like bleach and laundry detergent that's good to know that all bedding gets cleaned way to go Hampton I could go on & on about how clean this place was, I left a note in the room so they now everything was great if the room failed my inspection the note would not have been left there, really enjoyed my room (112) liked how cloud see my car from the parking lot, also loved the blackout shades. now the breakfast, the breakfast was served cafeteria-style and everything was either prewrapped or put in a cup with a lid on it, really liked the sandwiches and the eggs, the chocolate muffins were probably my favorite. again thanks for everything & way to go, I will be returning in the near future.

Clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast for the times (all individually packaged items and breakfast sandwiches!), amazing location. The doors all have a seal from Lysol so you know that no one has been in the room after it has been cleaned by housekeeping. POOL IS OPEN!

After a two year hiatus due to Covid, I returned for my three week stay for business and I have to say that the staff was able to maintain the high quality of service that I have become accustomed to while staying at this property. It looks just as clean and fresh as it did when it first opened. The staff are outstanding, especially Liz, Seth, Vince, Tyler, Paula, Deb, Carmen and Amy. It is apparent that they work as a team because all runs so smoothly and efficiently. I travel with students from Japan and the staff is always so patient and kind with them. They really do make a concerted effort to make the guests’ stay as comfortable and hassle free as possible. The property is always clean and everything looks fresh and well maintained. This is the only hotel I want to stay in when I visit LaCrosse for business.

The hotel was located downtown and a short distance to Viterbo University where we needed to go to pick-up our grandson who will be a freshman there this fall. Great location, friendly staff, breakfast was good and the staff in breakfast area were very attentive. Loved the salt water pool and my 10 year old grandson enjoyed it as well. We will stay again.

This hotel is a supreme property! I have traveled all over the USA and this is truly my absolute favorite! The service and friendly smiles are everywhere! The hotel is incredibly clean and you truly feel like they are going over and above to make sure your stay is fantastic. The little details do not get overlooked. They have a little station by the front entrance with dog and cat treats, Happy Bags for on the go with a water bottle, piece of fruit, muffin and a bar, and the breakfast that is FREE is filled with many great choices. The pool is a salt water pool that looked so relaxing except I forgot my suit… :(. The workout room is clean and the treadmills are super smooth for a fantastic morning run! The staff is always smiling and cleaning things! The vibe is modern and the rooms are super clean and comfortable. I normally struggle to sleep at hotels - not one issue in the three nights I was here and it was incredibly quiet at night. It’s super close to some great dining like the LaCrosse Distillery and the Freight House - so good! This hotel goes hands down as one of the best I have stayed at in the USA!
