We have stayed at the Country Inn and Suites (Green Bay East) many times on our trips to visit our grandkids. We have always travelled with our tiny dog "Poppy" (and on one occasion we have taken both our dogs). On this latest trip, we attempted to check in and were told they do not allow dogs. We asked if that policy had changed. They said it was always the policy. We explained that we had stayed there several times with our dog(s) and they basically called me a liar. Why would they have a "dog cleanup station" on their property (with poop bags and a trash can) if they have never allowed dogs. Poppy is a service dog, but because she wasn't wearing a red service dog harness (she was in her finest cold-weather sweater) they wouldn't allow her in the hotel. They lacked professionalism in dealing with this and needed to call 2 different managers just to find out what their own policy was regarding dogs. If you have dogs, there are 6 other hotels in Green Bay that are happy to accommodate your needs. Do not stay here.…
There is a shuttle to packer games. Stops right at parking lot entrance 8$ Each way. Great option for people attending games. Hotel was clean, had a friendly staff. The breakfast options were numerous.
Brittany and the staff were professional, friendly and always helped with any situation as soon as they could. They took care of my sister and I and any family member who was there during time that our dad, and grandfather was in the hospital and than hospice care
This is one of the nicest Country Suites we have stayed in. It was very clean, quiet, the rooms were spacious with food options close and it's easy to find. We will be back to visit family in the near future and this will be our hotel of choice.
It is hard to book a place you have never visited especially when traveling alone or with small children. This place was great and better than listed. Located in a quiet yet easily accessed area. Pleasant staff and super clean in every area. Breakfast had many choices and someone was right there to replace empty items or assist in any way.
Huge stains on floors. For the price it could have been cleaner. Parking lot was very dark. (Almost got hit walking into building) Breakfast was minimal and ok. Overall could have been better for what you pay for a room.
Our expectations were exceeded during our stay at Country Inn and Suites in Green Bay. Location was great. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The lobby was clean and welcoming. Complimentary coffee or tea by the doors was a welcomed touch! It was always stocked and the area was spotless. The pool area was spacious and the pool, spa and baby area were clean and well maintained. We were most pleased and are still raving about the breakfast! It was a fantastic setup, and there were so many choices: from 4 types of cereal, to eggs + hashbrowns + sausage, to fresh fruits, oatmeal, yogurt and a waffle station and more!! There was no need to go out for breakfast, which made mornings easy and comfortable, as they should be! The staff did an amazing job of keeping things stocked and keeping the dining area spotless for each guest to enjoy. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. We enjoyed having a fridge and microwave available. Housekeeping interactions were warm, friendly, and helpful. There were amenities that we didn't use; such as: on-site laundry, gym and vending machines, but it was nice to know they were an option. All of our needs were met. All of our expectations were exceeded. We look forward to returning to this hotel the next time we visit! Thank you Country Inn and Suites for an absolutely perfect experience!!…
Reported horrible behavior in room next to ours. NOTHING was done about it!. Young children (parents screaming profanities at them to shut the **** up, slamming doors, screaming). Reported to front desk and told they'd take care of. NOTHING was done. My son got very little sleep in our room.
There isn't much to separate this location from the thousands of others that dot the country - except for the pool area. There is a pool, standard, and a hot tub, slightly larger than most. But the plus comes from a walk-in pool for little ones that includes a couple of spouts. We had a king suite, which seemed like a waste because it had a couch, end table, two hard chair and TV - but lacked a suitcase holder, table for games or cards and was mostly a big empty space. Note that the fan in our bathroom did not work, which made the room humid and when the desk was told it did not register. There are hotels that are easier to find and more convenient to attractions, so make sure you look at a map first. And no newspapers, which I enjoy or even a brochure rack to find out about local attractions and restaurants. Its the pool for kids, or elsewhere.…
The pool area and location were good but the room, oh my! The carpet was stained extensively and the bedding was definitely not washed but was wrinkled with a long dark hair. Also the hotel walls are very thin so you hear everything in the neighboring rooms.
