Stay was ok. Room was dated and pretty clean but had everything we needed. Could have done a bit more vacuuming.
Food was meh. It’s abundantly clear this is the offseason for them as the food all seemed to be reheated in some form or fashion. The kids pizza had black pepper on it?? Didn’t quite understand that logic. The scrambled eggs on the breakfast buffet (which is NOT included in the price of the room) were rubber pellets. Definitely not worth $14.95 for an adult meal.
The water park was great for the kids - they loved it and that’s the only reason this review isn’t less stars. There were plenty of lifeguards, but seemed some of them were asleep or not paying attention.

This hotel has a rustic theme to it with a lobby decor of stuffed animals and animal heads similar to Cabela's Sporting Goods store. The rooms were clean and neat, bed was comfortable. However, the electrical outlet in the bathroom sink area was loose and needs to be replaced. The tub needs a bath mat or anti skid surface as tub is very slippery. To operate the TV, you need to be an IT genius and there is a need for a physical (hard copy) TV guide) as one is not available on the TV system. Others in my bus tour group also complained about the extremely difficult TV system. Just when think you have it figured out,you try to change channels and get disconnected and can't find your way back to the channels at all. There needs to be a better TV system than what is offered.

The water park itself was great. My family enjoyed the water slides, lazy river, and, of course, the giant bucket that dumps gallons of water onto those below.

The arcade was pretty good, but we had a lot of issues with games stealing our tokens, or games not issuing our tickets. It happened a lot, to be honest, and for the most part, the people working in the arcade were disinterested teens who could care less. However, there was one exception, and his name is Andrew. He was working Sunday morning, and was extremely helpful and kind to my children and me. Hopefully Andrew gets a raise!

As for the hotel rooms themselves, that was probably the worst part of our stay. There is no housekeeping, so we ran out of towels, coffee, and cups, and our trash was overflowing. The mattress on our bed had to have been 10 years old. It was literally like sleeping on a wedge, that caused my husband and I to roll toward each other, into the center of the mattress as we slept. I barely slept the two nights we stayed, it was so uncomfortable. There is also nowhere to hang wet bathing suits.

Overall, my kids had a good time, which is why we went to begin with, but hopefully the hotel makes improvements to make the adults stay a little more comfortable.

Our family did have a good time, and the employees were friendly and did the best they could. That said, this resort is in desperate need of updating. All of the linens were fraying, and one of the blankets on the beds had sizable holes. The bathroom door was rotting at the bottom and the frame was rusting. The bar was out of basic supplies, and the concession stand couldn’t provide food to customers because they were too busy with other parties going on in the building. Rooms were not ready for check in, and the breakfast buffet was like a complimentary breakfast except you paid $15 per person. The water park needs updating and would benefit from some body slides for the younger age group. If we do another waterpark resort, we will definitely drive a little further for a better experience elsewhere.

Pros: The waterpark was fun, and relatively uncrowded. We observed lifeguards regularly cleaning filters and floors. The lifeguards could have appeared more interested in their jobs. I do wonder if anyone in distress really would have been spotted.

Cons: We travel a lot and the mattresses in the rooms were the worst I have ever slept on. They were years past when they should have been replaced. Extremely soft, no support and if you got close to the edge, you would roll off. Pillows were all very thick memory foam. Very uncomfortable. You would be better off bringing a blow up mattress and your own pillow. The pull out mattress was torn and covered by only a sheet without a mattress pad. The sofa was very dirty. Our grandson found 2 pieces of candy and a comb on the floor so it was obvious the carpet had not been vacuumed. The did not drain. I don't know how this was not noticed if it had been cleaned by housekeeping. The cabinet door to the refrigerator and refrigerator was stuck closed and couldn't be opened. The hallways were very warm. The kitchen for the restaurant was supposed to be open until 9 pm. We went to order carry out at 7 and it was already closed, so we had to go out to find food.

Would maybe buy a day pass to the waterpark but would not stay here again.

Stayed here for three nights in October. My stay was part of a football game package through a third party. Checking in was fine and the lobby is quite spectacular, like a mountain lodge. The room was just okay, nothing special. A little dated and could probably use an update. The customer service was a nightmare. After leaving for the day on Saturday we returned to find our room hadn't been cleaned. I called the front desk and they told me that I needed to request it be cleaned. I then requested that it be cleaned the next day and that they replace the burned out bulb in the bathroom. I had to go to the front desk to get more towels. After coming back to the room the next day it still hadn't been cleaned. I called the front desk again and they said they only clean the rooms every three days. No one informed me of this policy and it isn't written on any of the paperwork I received when I checked in. They said there was no record of my request. To top things off I needed toilet paper. I went to the front desk and after looking around they said they were OUT OF TOILET PAPER! Unbelievable! They finally found an industrial sized roll for me. This was a total clown show. Don't ever stay here and chose other accommodations if your in a third party package.

I will start with I was not impressed by this stay. For the price I paid over $600 for 2 nights. It was decently clean, beds were comfortable, but the ac unit was literally putting out wet air so wet our blankets felt wet. The vending machine for drinks on our floor said 2.50 for a bottle of water, which fine whatever. Well it didn’t work. So my husband had to go to another floor and there it was 3.50 a bottle and came out warm. The lifeguards did an okay job from what I could see. It advertised a restaurant inside, which was closed and I am unsure why which was a slight inconvenience but we made due. The breakfast buffet was very skimpy from even continental breakfasts I have seen and this was $15.00 a person. All in all I wouldn’t stay again only due to price.

When you walk in you are greeted by a wonderful grand entrance and sitting area. The bar is very nice and the gift shop has basic amenities and branded clothing. They have a little refreshment area with ice cream. I booked the family loft suite (room 303) which cost $550+ a night. I have stayed at water park hotels in the dells and also Sheboygan and this hotel is by far the worst I have stayed at! There is nothing wrong with the waterpark in fact it was wonderful. It is the room the was bad. Badly patched holes in the wall, lights that didn’t work, bathrooms that look like they have not been updated since the 90’s. Room was not cleaned properly and found someone else’s sock in plain sight. Spoke with the front desk and apologized for the state of the room and told me she would send maintenance to bring a lamp for the loft due to the light fixture being broke and housekeeping to clean the room. Maintenance did show up but housekeeping did not even though the front desk promised me they would hand deliver the note. I will not complain how short staffed this hotel is as most places are. There was one employee I interacted with at the front desk in the evening that should get a raise!! Her name was Lo (sorry if I spelled that wrong) that was working the front desk and the snack area gift shop by herself. It was super busy with people wanting ice cream, people checking in and other other guests requesting other things. She was so friendly with the guests, cranked out off of the guests without making them feel rushed and did it with a smile. In a time where places are very short staffed, people like Lo should be commended and rewarded for doing the job of 3 people efficiently and with a smile! Lo, you made my stay with your kindness and professionalism!

As a family with many children, this was one of the worst stays I have ever experienced. The front desk was very helpful during check in, and we looked forward to getting to the room. Leaving the 80 degree halls behind, our room was slightly cooler. There was obvious upkeep issues, such as a severely crushed lamp shade, holes recklessly patched in the walls, dirty floors, and no toiletries including toilet paper. Upon further inspection, someone's novelty contact lens was in the bed, clearly indicating an uncleaned room. The cabinet holding the ketchup covered mini fridge had water damage over its entire lower half, most likey because the fridge would not shut. We decided to head to the waterpark to escape the room, expecting something better. We were met with the same quality, as after an hour of swimming we had to leave the outdoor hot tub due to dead mice in the water. We were beyond disbelief with a 240$ + pricetag that the quality would be so disappointing. After heading back to the room to shower (as recommended by staff clearing out the critter from the hot tub), we decided to call it a night. No way it could get worse we thought, it was just a bad day. Nope! Our air conditioning had stopped working and upon inspection, it was packed with black mold. We began to contact the desk to speak with someone, and we were assured someone would call right back. A trip down to the desk an hour later, and several phone calls resulted in an offer for free light cleaning and a temporary new room, but we would have to come back to this one the next night. With such an eventful night with a few of the kids already asleep it wasn't worth the battle. We pulled the hideaway bed out of the couch, and that is when the worst was found. A urine stained sheet was over the mattress, with a top sheet haphazardly thrown/folded into the mix. Unwrapping the sheet, we were greeted with what appeared to be a large clot of blood. I immediately called again, and was offered new sheets and a manager could call me in the morning. The new sheets showed up and were full of holes and large tears. The next day, after several hours of waiting for a call I talked to someone claiming to be the general manager, specifically the general manager and not just the front desk manager. He apologized for the black mold and room and offered me a 50% discount. This was such an unbelieveable chain of nasty and horrible experiences. I told the manager that if a 50% discount is what he felt was worth our very bad night, I cannot image what it would take to have some sympathy. This was the worst and craziest hotel room experience. On a side note, the pizza was ok.

My daughter, 2 grandkids and I were in one room, and a friend and her 4 kids were in another room. We had 2 bath towels in our room, no bath mat, one hand towel for 4 people. The chlorine was so bad in the pool that several of the children threw up. One of the kids had to leave because her face broke out, her eyes were burning even wearing goggles, and she was having a hard time breathing, and she is on swim team and has never had a problem with chlorine. My eyes were burning so bad, I had to leave and I didn't even put my head in the water. One of the children threw up during the night and when I called to get a clean sheet for the bed, I was told they had no clean sheets in the hotel. What??? I checked the fold out couch and there was no sheet on it. Our friends needed their fold out couch and it had a sheet on it and a bunch of crayons and papers, so it was obviously not clean. It was also broken and she had to prop it up with her luggage. The beds had metal pieces sticking out near the floor and several of us ran into them with our ankles. Ouch! Another room could only get Spanish on their TV and were offered no help. The arcade is a joke. Machines were broken and breaking down every other time you used one. The ticket counting machine continually jammed. We spent more time getting someone to help than playing games. The water park was not clean. They were out of towels by 5:00 and closed the concession stand before 7:00 even though the park is open til 9:00 so we had to order food which took over an hour and the kids were starving. The locker room was filthy. There were people running up and down the halls and yelling until 5:00 a.m. and it was very noisy.
When we brought these issues up at checkout, they didn't care. Not even an apology. Definitely not worth $325.

Good Morning! Yes the incidental charge is $30 for the stay and will be taken out at time of check in. The $30 will be authorized against the debit card, in turn "holding those funds" and making them unavailable for your use until check-out. Then at check-out the $30 incidental authorization will drop off (return to you) 24-48 hours after departure pending no charges for incidentals were posted. We look forward to your arrival!
