My husband and I stayed here while in town for the Packers game. It wasn't too far from the airport and downtown and it was always easy to get an uber. The hotel itself was plain but all we needed. There is a gas station next door with a convenience store open late, and a nice breakfast place on the other side. There is also some restaurants within walking distance. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice. Room was clean and quiet. My only issue was when we checked in we asked for a late check out. The woman told us we were all set for 2pm. On the day we were leaving, housekeeping walked in on us. When I went to check out. the woman at the counter asked me who I spoke to about late check out, and I said the girl working on Friday. All she said was "yeah it didn't get put in". I didn't appreciate the attitude since it was not my fault. Also the hotel was practically empty the day we left so I didn't see it as an issue. Kind of soured the end of the trip. My advice is to get some sort of confirmation if you do request late check out.…
Room was "average." There were a few put-offs: The first was finding several tiny bugs in the dresser drawers. Looked like fruit flies? They weren't moving, but I decided not to unpack. The second was the disgusting mass of black hair that came from the drain floating in the tub. The pluses: I've stayed in hotels where I found it difficult to plug stuff in. Not the case here! There were several plug ins on the nightstand and desk. More than we needed. I would call the hotel breakfast a plus as well. For the most part it was usual hotel breakfast fare, but here next to the wafflemaker there was a bowl of strawberries and a can of whipped topping. I've never seen that anywhere else. The bedding was clean and comfortable.
Dogs being allowed was a huge plus. Breakfast was very good compared to other hotels. The room we had lacked outlets on one side of the room and I had to switch sides of the bed so my husband could plug in his CPAP. We were there for a wedding and some of my family members rooms smelled weird. No internet connection.
The Manager needs to have a since of Humor and understand what a joke is. We found that so many people in the Green Bay area were mad and angered about their lives. It was not that way when I left the area 15 years ago. Litten up and enjoy the people around you. The room was way up north way from the pool and the main noisy lobby. Pool and hot tub area was clean and nice. It was walking distance to the VFW, AMW and gas station if you needed a drink or snack. Quick off the highway and a bar across the streets if you needed one. The Watering Hole is the name but did not go there. Will I go back. YES
Room needed serious vacuuming. Dirty spoon along with many cheerios on floor. Bed cover was dirty with what i suspect was vomit. Air vent had so much dust/debris on that it was difficult to tell the original color.
To be a special night stay with family We expected a certainly different type of room than we received have stayed with Americinn for years the bed was a pull out couch with a mattress that shouldn’t of even been out on the curb When you tried to lay down on it your head was downhill and your feet up in a air and every rod underneath the mattress was poking we couldn’t even use it Which put three of us sleeping on the floor and chairs the second room had some kind of a little portable heater and The mattress also certainly seen better days they were installing new carpet which was nice but the smell was so strong it gave us headaches for what we paid I certainly won’t stay there again and I used points being a rewards member
Decent stay. The bathroom is quite small. The elevator did not work and the staff did not know about it. The door entrance was filthy with overflowing garbage, alcohol and cig butts. Typical sat nite noises, someone banging on the door next door at 1230am. Other than that it was fine.
Room was in need of repair. Furniture fairy beat up looking. Hallway looked like it had seen better days, very worn out. Ran into issue with toilet running for a good 10 minutes after each flush (thought at first it wouldn’t stop) and was told by front desk there was no maintenance person there. Person in a group we knew who was staying same weekend found bedbugs. Yikes. Too late to cancel so made best of things after thoroughly checking room over. Will not stay again.
Pool area was toxic; our eyes were burning as soon as we entered and stood...yes, just stood on the deck. very dark- missing at least 5 lights on wall, no towels, and old/not usable safety equipment. We stayed only 20 minutes, and am angry with myself for even trying out the pool; the very reason for our stay with granddaughter.
Just the best hotel! Staff is friendly, everything is clean, & rooms were very comfortable! Easy access from the highway, restaurants nearby, breakfast food was great. The outside of hotel was just as nice as the inside. Coffee available 24/7.
