The location was perfect, near st. Vincent hospital where i had surgery. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again and reccomend this to my family and friends. The location was easy to find. Traffic wasn,t too noisy and the parking area was clear of ice being we stayed in the winter.

We were limited in our choice as we needed a place with a kitchen that would accommodate a large dog AND a cat, but this was perfectly acceptable although certainly not deluxe -- but a little more than what I would expect for the very good price. (About $1500 for a 14-night stay, including pet fees and tax.)

The sheets were very thin and there was NO breakfast due to COVID and the oven needed cleaning and the cleaners had missed a couple of spots in the bathroom (hair), but it had everything we needed (the only thing we had to buy was a cheese grater), was in a good location, and the staff was very nice.

Spent 2 nights here and it was fine. Expected to have breakfast but due to Covid-19, that wasn't available. Bed was really comfortable. and the linens were nice and smooth. No housekeeping during our stay, which was also due to Covid. A housekeeper did deliver extra towels to our room in the morning, didn't have to ask for them. Staff seemed careful, wore masks and other precautions were evident which we appreciated. Quite spacious suite with a gigantic bathroom, nice little well equipped kitchen. It could use some updating, but it served the purpose. Location was ok, safe easy to walk mostly residential area.

Unfortunately, the Packers had a huge event, so we were passing through on the wrong night. I guess we got the "worst" room here...didn't have any soap in the room, only two towels for a family of four, and the ceiling was paper thin, as we heard the upstairs neighbors stomping around all evening (thankfully they went to bed, but that could have been a problem). Front desk was helpful when asked (key card didn't work at first, and they remedied it), but I got tired of asking and we just used our own soap from the camping trip we had just finished up. Bathroom wasn't particularly clean, but wasn't really dirty. Just didn't seem to be as spotless as other hotels we've stayed in. Finally, the pool was unexpectedly closed, which was not relayed on the third-party site with the non-refundable rate when I made the reservation a couple hours prior to checking in. So I wasn't happy to find that out and have no recourse. Swimming at the YMCA free of charge was not an option after an exhausting camping trip...wanted a pool right there to relax in and let the kids play. Oh well...live and learn, I should have called first.

I have stayed here several times in the past. The bed has always been clean and comfortable and all other surface areas appear clean.. The Staff is very accommodating and the breakfast is very nice, but you do have to walk from your room outside to get to the Breakfast room. However, this trip, the room I was staying in, was in need of many repairs, patio door not sliding and lock broken as well as safety bar hinges loose, a knob missing to turn the fan on and off, microwave was not totally clean and stove was caked with grime inside. The sheer privacy curtain was missing, so either you had to have the drapes pulled, which left the room dark, or your suite sitting area was totally visible to the suite immediately across from it. The outside areas are in need of paint and repair, weed removal etc. Since I was only there for one night I just dealt with it, but did share my concerns the next morning. The woman at the desk did make note of everything and thanked me for bringing it to their attention. She also removed $20.00 from my bill. This is such a good location when staying in Green Bay, I hope Wyndham will put money into giving this Hawthorn an uplift.

Honestly, this was the dirtiest / most disgusting room I've ever stayed in. When I made my reservation over the phone I was told: "We only have a suite with a kitchenette left and you got lucky, as this is our last room". At check in I was told " I hope you don't mind climbing stairs because room 1021 is our last room and it's up a flight of stairs". Little did I know this would lead to the WORST stay of my life - honestly.

You would think that with COVID-19 there would be extra effort put into room cleanliness but not here. My feet stuck to the kitchen floor when I walked across it. The bathroom sink and shower would not drain. By the end of my shower I was standing in 3" of water. There were several, yes, several HUGE spiders in my room - about 1.5 inch leg span. I tried to pull out the sofa bed and it was filled with plastic wrappers, food debris and generally nasty. Last, issue I'd like to address as I don't want to seem unhinged, is the employees used the landing at the top of my stairs, directly in front of my door as a smoking lounge. They would congregate directly in front of my door blocking my entrance. When I came up the stairs they acted like I was out of line for asking them to move.

I've reached out to the hotel to get a refund and they offered me a $100 credit. I paid $351 per night for a two night stay. A total of $829.30. You would think that for that rate they would at least clean the room.

Honestly, I don't write a lot of reviews, but if this review save a few people from this experience, then good. Do yourself a favor, don't stay here.

Brad and Zoey were extremely accommodating and helpful. Their willingness to provide the best in service enhanced our stay.

Although I didn't get the names of the am staff 11/5/23, they provided a wonderful selection of breakfast items in a clean, well stocked, organized area that was extremely enjoyable.

This hotel is very, very overrated online. It might have been nice 40 years ago but it is terribly outdated. Plus you only get room service if you are staying 5 days or more. They use Covid as a reason but there are no other Covid policies in place for breakfast, checkin, etc. The outdoor pool is closed due to “maintenance” and I am betting it never is open.

At least the shower worked and the water was hot but if you are looking for a nice place 3 stars and above pass this one by. I would prefer a Travelodge instead.

I dont think that I have ever had a ruder experience at hotel before. When checking in the girl was nice to me and she was the same one that had checked me out. But later that night when I called for some issues I was having the lady that was working was very rude she was short tempered and short on the phone. And when I came down to get my issues fixed she was very unpleasant and not to sympathetic. she didnt even care to fix my issue. or offer to put me up in a different room. When I vented to the lady during checking out she told me she was very sorry for the rudeness at my stay and told me would leave a note for management. In my opinion Amy is rude and if this is the customer service she gives she should work at the front desk. Kylee was very nice . you should get more of her around here. On a side note lots of things need fixing in the hotel and i cant believe that they allow people to stay here.

Overall, I had a lovely experience at Hawthorn in Green Bay. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable as well! I enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub, and the breakfast was your basic waffles, toast, yogurt, etc. but was good and any interactions I had with the staff was pleasant. Excellent location and safe area, close by lots of Green Bay area attractions.

Only downside about this hotel is that it's very dated and in much need of some updates. While the room had everything I needed, and in working order, some of the appliances were very old, and a lot of the room itself showed considerable signs of wear and age. An update/renovation to the rooms would make this a 5 out of 5 star stay for me.

I believe I had responded to your personal email. We did have our pest control company look at the room and they saw no evidence of pests in the room.

No. I don't think so. You can easily drive to the Packers game from this location. Not far. Just over the river and two exits. Parking is not a problem at games. Many places to park and walk a little. Everyone parks and walks. Super friendly town. Very safe.
