I was impressed with this Residence Inn. It was super clean, modern, had great amenities in and out of the room (great working area, kitchen, huge shower, good lighting, modern large internet tv, complimentary microwave popcorn, free parking, and more).

The shared areas were also great (pool, laundry, lobby area, fitness room, etc). Some of these things were modified for COVID but still available safely which I appreciated.

Little touches like the desk texting me to ensure my room was in order and then checking on my stay while there was appreciated yet not overbearing.

The only small minor things are you can hear people in halls, etc but it wasn't horrible. Also, some rooms view the parking lot of walkways but that's kind of expected in an urban hotel.

AZTravelGal1, Thank you so much for choosing our Residence Inn and providing us with this wonderful and helpful review. When you come back, there is a beautiful view of The Fox River that you can request, and if it is available, you will absolutely love the sunrises and sunsets! We hope to see you back with us soon!

We had an excellent stay here. Everything was clean, very quiet, and very comfortable. I’d live in this place if I was looking for an apartment in Green Bay.

Cooking facilities: Typical for a Residence Inn, although we did not use them for the single night we were there. They did offer a hot breakfast in the morning, as well as an assortment of cold options, but the hot food had to be served by a single staff member due to Covid.

Noise: Very quiet. We didn’t hear anything from other rooms or the hallway.

Temperature: AC worked well.

Bathroom: The bathroom was very large and had a walk-through closet area attached. This area had a large counter with a mirror above it, sort of like a vanity. Great place for setting out toiletries, etc. The shower stall was the entire wall of the bathroom, separated from the main room with a glass partition for half the length of the wall. The only problem with that was that water tended to spritz out that opening even though it was at the opposite end from the shower head. There were also two towel bars for hanging towels to dry, which was great.

Location: The location was good. It was fairly easy to access from the highway, although you had to know where you were going as it wasn’t directly off of it. It was near the National Railroad Museum. There were a variety of restaurants nearby, although not walking distance.

The corona crisis messes up life in so many ways, but if you need to travel, now is the right time to find hotels at super prices. And if you can stay at the Residence Inn by Marriot (Green Bay Downtown) in Ashwaubenon, you’re more than lucky.

Nicole made it possible to get into a great room with a great view. Though there’s another hotel nearby, there’s no need to check it out; this hotel’s furnishings are new and top-quality. The mini-suite, with full kitchen (sans oven), plus cookware and dishes, wrap-around sofa, and long desk was everything we needed for our four day stay. This was everything you could get renting a cabin or house in some remote place – at half the price. Once we were settled in, Nicole texted to ask how the room looked and did we need anything.

Now, you’d expect the front desk to be friendly, but just about all the other staff were also pleasant, greeting us wherever we crossed paths. Special shout out to Vanessa, who literally went out of her way to help us in a particular need we had, even though she was working in a different area, on a different floor. Not just then, but on another occasion she helped with genuine pleasantness.

It’s not the best time to travel, given the virus concerns, but Residence Inn made it a great time to stay in Green Bay.

Excellent value, clean rooms, and exceptionally friendly staff. We had two adults and four children for our visit and we were able to get two adjoining rooms with kitchens, living areas, and pull-out couches for about the same price as a single, smaller room at other hotels. We will be back for sure.

The people working here genuinely like their jobs and are extremely pleasant people. The hotel itself is new, clean, and beautifully appointed. Our room was set up so efficiently that we had a full kitchen, a living room area including a desk and a bedroom and large bathroom. It was all spotless and fully equipped with everything that we could need. We met a young man in the elevator who worked there and was on his way to bring another room something extra they had requested and he was so friendly and engaging and mentioned that he had been on duty since early that morning. We replied that it must be difficult working such long hours and he said no, that he loved his job. How nice to have an employee say that. Then at breakfast the next morning they were obviously short staffed because the manager was doing the cooking and actually bringing the plated food out to serve people so they didn’t have to remain waiting in line. She also was extremely pleasant and filled everyone’s requests, even special ones. Her attitude also was friendly, and happy even though she was working so hard. These days of staffing shortages and stressed out workers, it is refreshing to find a place where the people love their jobs and go above and beyond to make customers feel welcomed.
We also received texts during our stay asking if there was anything else that they could do to help us and how the visit was going. So they really care and want to make things as good as possible during the stay.
At night there is an outdoor seating area around a gas fire pit with lots of chairs. It is a lovely place to unwind and enjoy a nightcap.

My experience at this property was outstanding. Basically no issues. The staff are very friendly from the limited interactions I had with them. This property doesn't have two bedroom suites like most Residences do, but the one bedroom suite I had was spotless, and had lots of space. It even had an oven. Overall this was an excellent stay and I highly recommend the property. Great location not far from downtown, right off the highway, and convenient access to a walking trail.

It was a great pleasure for my family to stay at this hotel which has great commute to all tourist destinations in Green Bay and the easy connectivity with Door County. Being just outside the city outskirts it is peaceful and riverfront gives the a very soothing experience. The rooms are very cleans and well maintained. the hotel staff are very friendly and are always ready to help out.

I was actually there from Oct 2020 till mid Feb 2021. Due to my status, I upgraded to a "corner" room because it has a full size stove. The room was spacious and you felt like you were home in a sense. COVID limited what could be done. I miss the hot breakfast in the mornings and the mixer's that were held in the evenings. The buildings and rooms are well maintained. You can set your own cleaning day or have it done every 3 days. The staff and management are top notch. Any issue I had was taken care of with professionalism. Just down from Lambeau Field and next door to the National Railroad Museum with stores and restaurants nearby, it's well worth the stay for business or just a weekend getaway. Thumbs up and 5 stars for this place.

I have a work related assignment in Green Bay. Over the next few months will be spending one week at a time a couple times of each month. We are presently in our second stay at this location. It is been everything we are looking for in a long stay hotel. The kitchen facilities are excellent so we were able to prepare some of our own meals. It also includes a continental type breakfast in the morning. In addition there is a gas grill here if you want to barbecue your own food. There’s also an indoor pool and fitness center. To top it all off there is laundry facilities on site as well. It is very convenient to the airport as well as to Lambeau field. It’s also convenient to downtown Green Bay.

cannot speak from personal experience about road noise since our room was on the water side. at the time we were there the area the hotel was in seemed quiet. if in any doubt, in our experience any request we have ever had regarding room selection has been honored by the hotels if enough notice was given although water view might be more expensive. the train museum is about a half mile from hotel and is an easy walk.
