Everything the room next door we heard very loud until midnight. We had to leave in the morning for my mom to catch a flight to Arizona. Other than the free drinks the room was clean and the bed was great pool needs too be updated.
Stayed for one night on a business trip. The trip started off with a really friendly front desk clerk. In fact, all of the employees I encountered were great. That was about the extent of the positives. The property is quite dated and everything seemed dark and dim inside - the room, hallways, etc. I dropped my things at the room and left for a dinner meeting. After getting back to my room after dinner, I noticed a partial pill on the floor next to the TV, and also part of what appeared to be some sort of chocolate candy bar on the floor on the left side of the bed near the A/C unit. The bathroom sink was also quite slow to drain. I’m not the “talk to the manager” type and very rarely complain - most of my reviews are always positive! But this was gross and unacceptable. Clearly the room was not vacuumed. I would not stay here again.…
This hotel was convenient to everything and our room was quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. This unit is need of TLC and some upgrades. The public areas are carpeted and the carpets need cleaning and really should be replaced with another type of floor covering. The door in the bathroom needs lubrication as it squeaks loudly. The entryway number two has not been picked up or vacuumed in the two days we were here. A few upgrades and some attention would easily move this to a five star location.
The water park is perfect for kids under 12, being that it was spring break week the pool area was extremely busy. During the evening there was one attendant who was reading a book the entire time. I went to tell her about a child who was running to the front of the water slide line and cutting in front of the other kids. Her response was “I’m sorry I don’t know what to tell you.” How about say something to the child! What her actual job was, I had no idea. The next morning, the pool was even more busy, and there was nobody working! The continental breakfast is good, with a great selection of items. A plus for traveling with a family. We stayed in Rm 167 which was a 1 room King suite. It was ok. Peeling wallpaper and a little outdated. I really liked the room location as it was very close to the pool and to an outdoor entrance.…
I had occasion to stay at this property for several days. When I booked the room I noticed the tag “Renovated Rooms” so I expected an updated hotel. Not the case! I asked at check in for a renovated room and was told that only a couple of the suites were renovated and none of the regular rooms had been renovated. This is a very dated property. The wallpaper in the room I was in was torn and had bubbles, the carpet is old and appears dirty, the A/C unit is very loud and the walls are paper thin. The women that checked me in said there were only five people staying in the hotel. You would think given the current situation with COVID-19 they would not put guests in rooms right next to each other. I had guest on both sides of me. I could clearly hear their televisions and when they used the water it sounded like someone turned on a fire hydrant. They also told me at check in that the restaurant was closed, however, it appeared that people were ordering and picking up takeout. That would have been nice to know. There are many more and better hotels in Green Bay for less money. I would avoid this one. I won’t stay here again. Choice should make them take the “renovated rooms” tag off their website.…
This place has it all. A quiet clean room, comfortable bead and the Rain Shower. It is connected to an excellent bar and restaurant. Also has a great pool/recreation area. A great place to stay at a reasonable cost.
I stayed at this property recently with my wife and three elementary schoolers. We had a great experience! Check in was fast and easy. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The staff was able to get us some additional towels without a problem. The kids loved the pool! From seeing pictures online, I was expecting it to be good. It easily exceeded expectations. We will stay here again. If I had to point to one thing for improvement, I would mention that there was no TV guide. Not a big deal, but something I'd ask about next time.
Sprawling, comfortable, quiet, good beds, good breakfast and excellent restaurant on the premises. What more could you want? How about a huge indoor water park for the kids. This ain't the Ritz, so there are no obsequious porters to carry your luggage or bring you breakfast in bed, but it's a great all-purpose stay, especially if you have kids. One warning -- if you go to bed early, there may still be families returning from the water park at 8:30, but after 10:00, it's quiet. I did not hear a peep after 10:00, and we were here on a Packers weekend!
This was an absolutely amazing hotel experience. We ate and drank at the 1951 Restaurant and had a lovely time. The breakfast was delicious with an omelet made-to-order station. The pool area was adorable and looked amazing for families. Even being next to an interstate, you would really never know. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. One of the best nights we had on our 8-day road trip!
I reserved two nights here but accidently went to Comfort Inn in Green Bay (given the similarities of the paperwork and decorum of rooms I suspect Suites and Inn are with the same corporation, but I may be wrong). I paid for a night a Inn and called Suites, and they were not sure if I could cancel the first night. The next night I did stay here but was billed for both. I asked to have the first night refunded, and they said no. I found the place okay, but not the inflexibility, and so I will not stay with them again. - Troy
