This place is an absolute gem! Booked it online sight unseen. The room was gorgeous, large. Staff was very friendly. Nice restaurant and wine bar right out the front door. Will definitely plan to return.

We have been vacationing in Door County for 30+ years and thought we knew all the best places. Not so. This was our first, but not our last stay at the Lodgings. Perfect location in quieter Ephraim with a view down the street of the bay. You can walk to the Chef's Hat and stroll across to the beach. We stayed in The Gift Box. Lovely accommodations, spotless and the owners had thought of everything. We even found a dish of creamer pods for our coffee in the refrigerator. The bed was the best we have ever had away from home and, notified that I am very allergic to feathers and down, the owners actually bought new hypoallergenic pillows for the room. I mean, who does that?! We never heard noise from the other rooms and had our own private porch where we could sit and look out at the bay. The bathroom was lovely with a large Jacuzzi and, again, supplied with more than you would expect - shampoo, body gel, facial wipes, lots of soft towels. Thank you for contributing to a much needed and relaxing vacation. We will return.…

Wonderful, spacious, clean and well-appointed room. It’s rare that a room is better in person than it appears on a website, but in this case it’s true. Check in was a breeze. The Lodgings is nestled back approximately 100 yards from the main thoroughfare so it’s peaceful and relatively free from street noise. We’ll be returning to the Lodgings at Pioneer Lane. Dan & Terri

Our stay at The Lodgings at Pioneer Lane never disappoints. The rooms are spacious, clean, with a nice kitchenette. Within walking distance to food, coffee and the waterfront. Carly, the host, is very responsive should you need anything or suggestions on where to dine or what to do. We always enjoy our stay!

Everything about the Lodgings was amazing. The room was spacious and immaculate. I was impressed with the attention to detail, from the magazines and newspapers, to the decks of cards in the desk drawer, and the makeup remover pads on the vanity. Carly was lovely, from the time of booking the reservation and throughout our stay. She guided us to a great restaurant, and places to go and things to do. The Lodgings exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to plan another trip there in the near future-can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Exceeded our expectations! We’ve stayed in Helen’s Room and the Gift Box previously so I wasn’t concerned about the “Inn Keeper’s” commitment to overall quality, cleanliness and hospitality. I was, however, concerned about the size of Bill’s Room, but took a chance. I’m glad we did as we were pleasantly surprised with the space as well as the thoughtful selection of furniture, offering tons of storage. Additionally, the room has a large closet plus bonus hooks for hanging bags, purses, etc. The Bathroom is nice, we appreciate a heat lamp and good water pressure! The room is light, bright… has an outstanding mattress, couple of period chairs, microwave, fridge… All you need!

Always our go to spot. Been there several times in the last several years. The lake is seen from our front port in "Bills Room" which is very affordable. Beautiful this year!! We are friendly with Hugh and Alicia over the years who has just turned it over to their Daughter, Carly and her husband.

My wife and I have stayed here for many years and hopefully will continue for many years to come. Rooms are always spotless, beds are comfortable, TV works and a nice front porch to read my WIFI newspapers every morning with a cup of coffee. Only issue we had this year is it rained one day (first time in 45 years), this can't happen again.

It had been five years since i was able to visit Door Country. You see, I suffer from a form of ALS (PLS) and have been unable to find suitable accessible lodging until I found The Lodgings at Pioneer Lane. Needless to say the accommodations exceeded my expectations.
