We had a wonderful visit. We choose a King Suite with a pool view. The room and the grounds are so very clean and everything is so well maintained. We loved the oversized soaker tub and fireplace. The beach across the street on the bay is so convenient and a great place to watch the sunset. We were made to feel very welcome when we checked it, which we appreciated :) The location is Efraim is so convenient to everything as well. We will definitely return to this resort and would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of a trip to beautiful Door County :)

Pleasant experience. Room very clean with daily fresh linens offered. Nice walk to Ephraim downtown and beautiful location for some spectacular views of the harbor. Was in a room near the stairs so could hear some walking around early am or late night but not anything unlike other hotels. Would stay here again.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed her. It was very clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a no frills nice place to stay in door county, this is a good place. We like the location. All the people working here are very friendly. It’s nice to relax at their private beach across the street.

The Bay Breeze is beautifully maintained. Rooms are spacious, well appointed, and immaculately clean. I am a former hotel General Manager and I was truly impressed. The grounds are gorgeous and the gardens are so pretty with a wide array of colorful flowers. The pool is heated which was great for our trip that had unseasonably cold days. The private beach was so nice - we saw someone early in the morning raking it to make sure it was perfect for everyone who visited. The rooms had a clothesline in the bathroom which was a nice touch because we had wet swimsuits and towels to hang up. Love the Ephraim area - great restaurants, beautiful views, great activities and quiet while also having a lot to do. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful first visit to Door County!

I recently returned to Bay Breeze Resort in Ephraim for a 2-night stay on a Thursday & Friday night during my Door Country trip. I had stayed here back in about 2016, and I enjoyed it so much that I returned! I once again had a great stay here, and this is an excellent lodging property in Door County, right in the middle of it all! I arrived at about 4:30 on Thursday to check-in, after a long day visiting Door Peninsula Winery and then Newport State Park. Everyone was very friendly in the office, and I was quickly checked-in and on the way to the room. I needed to pay a 50% deposit at the time of reservation (or about the equivalent of one night), so it was nice to have some of it paid for ahead of time. I had a room on the 1st floor that was straight down the sidewalk from the office in the main building, so it was easy to get to! I really enjoyed my garden view, and they have such pretty plants and landscaping here! It was nice sitting outside on the chair outside my door at times for enjoying the beautiful weather, and it was a great place to enjoy a glass of wine! The room was clean and comfortable, and it was just the right size for me, with a queen bed. I enjoyed using the outdoor hot tub both evenings, and this was very relaxing (didn't really use the regular pool), and it wasn't usually too crowded when I was out there. I enjoyed going back to Newport State Park during the evening on Thursday night to take in some stargazing! They are not servicing the rooms during a multi-night stay unless you specifically ask them to, but I was fine with that. I just asked for more coffee and towels, and they left that outside the door on Friday. They also picked up my trash that I left out. I slept very well here both nights, and the bed was extremely comfortable. They do not offer continental breakfast here at all, but there are so many places in Door County to try, so I enjoyed breakfast at a place in Egg Harbor on Friday, and at Al Johnson's in Sister Bay on Saturday after checking out. The view and private beach across the street is also very nice! I will continue to stay at Bay Breeze on future trips to Door County, and this is an amazing property! I was heading out pretty early on Saturday because I was headed to Washington Island for the day, so I was departing by around 7:00AM. It was convenient having a drop box for keys since the office is not open that early, and I had already received my receipt via email. I had a wonderful 2-night stay at Bay Breeze, and I would gladly return and recommend for visiting Door County!…

Bay Breeze Resort is fabulous in every way - the staff, the setting, the rooms! The check in was easy as was the check out. The staff is attentive. The room was clean; the bed was great; the whirlpool was very clean and worked great. Will stay here again!

Excellent attention to cleanliness throughout. Very comfortable accommodations and even the room listed as without a view looks out over greenery and a court yard. Mattress comfortable. Walking distance to many shops and eateries and a beautiful view of the bay. Would definitely stay there again.

Agree with other reviews, adding: really organized & thought out from the detailed room notebook, stack of grab pool towels, outside seating by rooms, lawn, beach, check in/out, housekeeping options....makes it all easy. If pool is important, book ground floor. If view is important, second with balcony. Back building offers quiet plus view. No elevator and tub with grab bar does require lifting leg to hip height to get in over side mounted faucets. Negative: soft mattress seems to have a built in position from use. Crisp bedding, Clean, but mattress has a "sinkhole". Early June 2022, all guests were considerate; quiet, lovely, evenings. TV are set to a welcome lower volume. Hard working housekeeping teams.

We had a wonderful time at the Bay Breeze Resort. The rooms were immaculate, the grounds were gorgeous, and the people were very friendly. The best part was the private beach across the street. We spent time sitting on the beach watching the water on the Bay, and looking at the stupendous sunset views. We had booked the smallest room, which was just right for a couple. The refrigerator, sink & microwave were in their own area, plus there was a table & two chairs right by the window. The location was quite central and it was easy to drive up to Sister Bay or the ferry, or down south to Fish Creek and Egg Harbor. We will definitely be recommending this to others!

All of the positive reviews are 100% accurate. From all the places we have traveled to, this resort had the cleanest and prettiest room we have ever experienced. We need to go back during a warmer season to enjoy the pool and to watch the sunset across the street on their little beach area. Wow, that is all I can say and the owners should be very proud. The gal at check in was very pleasant and professional; it is nice to see that some businesses still have experienced staff. Thank you Bay Breeze; we love your resort!
