Loved our visit to The Landing Resort in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin. Place is immaculate and the staff is very accommodating. Lots of different size units to choose from...excellent location, near market, restaurants and harbor. It is our go-to place.
We just spent 4 nights at the resort. We were celebrating our 50th with our family from all over the country--we had 4 units/suites. While the bedrooms were a bit small, we loved the place and location. Egg Harbor did not disappoint. We were close to the beach, restaurants, markets, gift shops, etc. The kids loved the pool and we loved sitting on the patio. While all units seemed nice, we were happy to get those that faced the woods, as opposed to the parking lot. It was very nice to be able to get that Door County coffee each morning.
Such a disappointment! Booked a 2 bed Spinniker room, and while the loft was nice with a king bed, the alcove was literally full of the bed. There was no place for a bedsde table, no place to put personal items. I feel like bait and switch was happening. There is no excuse for it. For $272 a night, we will not make this mistake again. Oh, and if you have luggage, but sure to book your room on the first floor, no one will help you take it up the stairs. There is no staff checking the pool area, where rules were being broken left and right. I once loved this place, but not anymore.
Our first time ever staying here. We booked the cheapest room to stay during April. It was very very quiet. Think the cost was $95.00 a night. The room was very clean, room with a queen bed, small room, separate living room, small kitchenette., smaller tv, internet and cable tv worked great. Very limited on kitchen supplies and NO oven. BUT…. Very easy access to room, very clean, great hot water and a indoor pool with a hot tub. That’s hard to find in the off season in DC for that price. We were very pleased and enjoy coming to DC during the off season. For sure our choice again. Great place!
we read a few negative reviews so we were nervous about staying here but we can say this place is clean and comfortable with a great location. also had a problem with our booking (my fault) but Mike at the front desk took 110% care of everything !! great staff all around
The smallest room ever with terrible layout. Smallest tv May have belonged to minime previously. Room 115 no living room so had to sit on bed to watch the mini tv. Other room 116 and 118 had bed in a tiny separate room so had couch and chair to sit on to watch tv. Also bigger tv in those rooms. The only two good points was very clean and close walk to center of town and restaurants but would not repeat at the prices for this room. Private condos with owner discretion on layout and furnishings so beware on what your getting.
Suite sleeps six. The only bathroom was in one of the bedrooms, As sleeps six, very unpractical, had to go through the bedroom to get to bathroom. Vanity was outside of bathroom, next to the bed. Only public bathroom in resort was in swimming area and doors locked from 10pm until 8 am. Would not recommend if all six persons plan to use a bathroom during their stay. Rooms should be equipped with a pee pot or bed pans. Could not recommend unless I did not like you.
Really great resort, Staff very friendly. Close to beach, grocery store, restaurants. Quieter than expected. Pools were great for kids as well as playground. Stayed in Spinnaker 2 which was perfect for a family. Lower room small but great experience
First time staying at the landing and we loved it. My husband and I spent two nights in one of the harbor rooms and the size and layout was perfect. So nice having a full kitchen and the walkout to the back patio/woods was beautiful. Loved the close proximity to everything making it very walkable. Great little walking trail behind the property that leads right to a beautiful swimming beach and park. Staff were very accommodating and professional. Will definitely stay again!
Staff was friendly while there. Room was super small. No daily housekeeping. We used the small room for a baby. It’s so small we had to move the bed over in order to fit the playpen and be able to close the door. We were then charged for a broken box spring. No one even slept on that bed since we slept on the sofa bed and a blowup mattress. PLEASE make sure you check everything once you arrive in order to avoid charges!!! Would never stay there again.
