Located near the airport with easy access to transportation, the Days Inn By Wyndham Seatac Airport is appreciated by guests for its convenience. While some find the service helpful, others have experienced it as slow and disorganized. Opinions on value and room quality vary, with some guests finding reasonable rates but others are disappointed by rooms with smoke odors, uncleanliness, and dated features. We got a low price for this room and it is close to the airport. But not only are the rooms tired and worn with some odd features, like an open textured glass window between the bedroom and bathroom that reduces privacy in the bathroom, but also many features that just don't work. We called for a pickup from the car return area and they promised to arrive within 15 to 20 minutes. After 30 minutes we called again. "oh, we do not pick up from there." In addition, the coffee machine in the room was broken and the tissues are rough. Finally, a car alarm sounded outside our window about every half hour all night.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I'm sorry to hear your stay didn't go as smoothly as one would expect. I will pass on your feedback along to our front desk and make sure they are giving out the correct information for the shuttle pick up. We are currently in the process of updating our rooms. We do hope you come back to stay with us in the near future and let us redeem ourselves.

Only 1 person at desk to check in people, 45 min. wait. Beds were fine, hotel is extremely dated and needs some love, free wi-fi was fine, breakfast consisted of ONE carafe of coffee, containers of sugar and powdered creamer, a box of Quaker variety instant oatmeal, yogurt and a box of pre-packaged danish at the check-in counter (I guess they wanted to make sure you didn't take to many). Gone are the days of waffles, bagels, hard boiled eggs, breakfast meat and some type of eggs :(

I'm not sure if this is representative of all hotels, as this is the first time I've stayed at a hotel post pandemic, but it was definitely not what I expected.

Hotel close to airport. Free shuttle to and from 24 hours. Breakfast included in room rate (if you’re lucky enough to be a day traveller) HOWEVER - the noise ALL NIGHT outside the hotel window was dreadful. The hotel needs to address this with whatever agency can help them.

Probably the worst experience at a hotel that I’ve had in a really long time, if not ever. When my daughter and I left for the day, we looked for the do not disturb sign because we didn’t want room service. The sign was was missing in the room so we told the front desk we did not want room service.
When we returned for the day at 7:00 PM, room service was in the room saying ‘the room service people don’t get paid if they don’t clean our room’. I thought this was weird plus not really my concern if they get paid since I didn’t want room service. Anyways, my daughter’s wallet was missing when we went back into the room. Hopefully, the staff didn’t take it, but we didn’t put our valuables away because we asked for NO ROOM SERVICE. This on top of the fact that the room was dirty when we checked in and the overall hotel looked a little run down. I would never recommend this hotel and would go so far as to try to persuade everyone to never come here.
As an added note, the shuttle service is really terrible. We were dropped off at a train station and called when we needed picked up. We went to the place we were dropped off and waited 45 minutes. The shuttle to pick us up did not pick us up at the same place we were dropped off because apparently the shuttle service morning staff and night staff pick up and drop off at different locations.

We tried to book in at 4pm (check in was 2pm) but told no room was available due to only 2 of their 7 staff turning up for work. No Apology was given and we were given a room almost an hour later. Unfortunately there was used soap in the sink and a used coffee bag in the coffee machine when we did check in. Breakfast was not breakfast, just a yogurt and a cold pastry in a plastic bag. We complained and the manager gave us a $27 dollar discount for the check in delay. But since the room cost $212 dollars, it really did not appease us much. Will not be back

The rounded shower curtain rod was broken, so the curtain kept falling to the middle, allowing water out at both ends. (This was apparently known, because there were two floor towels, instead of the usual one). The toilet screamed like a banshee for 10+ seconds when flushed. I can only imagine what the adjoining and above and below units thought. Cable TV wouldn't change channels, so only one channel and while front office promised to send someone to fix it, no one ever came. Floors looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in quite a while. In-room coffee maker offered two coffee packets ... BOTH decaf. Husband booked trip under his name, but hotel had it listed under "Guest" wife's name (different last name), so we were told we did not have a reservation. Eventually that was cleared up.

The property is in poor condition. The property is in an area that is quite sketchy and not safe. We were uncomfortable staying there due to the condition of the room, the people “around” the outside of the property who made it difficult to venture out as we felt our safety would be a concern. I would advise anyone looking to continue searching as this property is not somewhere you would want to stay.

Our reservation was canceled because we didn't check in before 6pm with no phone call or email notification. The lobby, hallways, and elevator were dirty. The room seemed clean. Complimentary breakfast was coffee (barely and cream or sugar) and yogurt

This property is fine, the rooms are clean. The property could stand some updating specially in the hall ways. The breakfast is good. One thing that is very nice is the excellent shuttle service to the airport. The towels in the bathroom are a bit small and not that thick.
It is Ok for a short stay to access the airport.

I stayed in room 206. First off, the refrigerator did not work. I did let someone at the front desk know but they said maintenance doesnt work on the weekend and there isnt anything that could be done. The rooms are old and outdated. It was hard finding an outlet that worked. I had my phone charging on the outlet behind the night stand (no outlets or USB on lamps like updated hotels) but if it moved in the slightest, it would fall out and there wouldnt be a charge. The breakfast is packaged muffins, bruised bananas, yogurt, or you can make yourself a pack of oatmeal. It was extremely noisy. Housekeeping would start about 8 am and they were down the hall and I could hear them as if they were in the room with me.

Answer from Paul L

As with any urban, busy tourist area, it is always wise to be cautious. Since you are alone, I would suggest staying in areas where there are tourists visible in the vicinity so that you are not viewed as being by yourself. Restaurants within short walking distances should be fine. Otherwise, über would be a wise choice for restaurants farther out. (NB - Seattle has a huge problem with the homeless living on the street.)
