The Seattle Airport Marriott boasts a classic charm and a serene atmosphere that guests often appreciate, along with a prime location. While some guests praise the hotel's shuttle service and fitness center, opinions on amenities are mixed, with mentions of cleanliness concerns. Although the rooms are typically found to be tidy and well-equipped, a few travelers advise double-checking for cleanliness and adequate supplies.
Service experiences vary, ranging from commendable to disappointingly slow. Additionally, the hotel has faced criticism for hidden fees and questionable value for money.

Seattle Airport Marriott delivers a good airport hotel experience. Airport shuttles are run frequently and the drivers are kind and helpful. The hotel staffs are friendly and the check-in agent apologized for my room not being ready even way past the scheduled check-in time. To my pleasant surprise, the club lounge is reopened with a continental breakfast spread offered in the morning and an evening snack spread featuring a paid bar and food that include sliders, cheese and meat plate, and then an evening dessert spread with complimentary non-alcoholic beverage throughout the day. The club lounge is nothing fancy but provides a nice quiet place for those who need to work. There is a separate computer/print station too inside the lounge, which comes in handy for me.
I requested an upgrade to a corner room/suite, which is nice. There is plenty of space to use. The bed is comfortable. However I am surprised that daily housekeeping is not returned yet and the agent does not remind me to request one for the second day of my stay. Due to the design of the hotel, there are plenty of rooms that did not have an outside view, but facing the interior atrium area. If you are an aviation enthusiast, this hotel does not really have any good rooms for planespotting.
In conclusion, Seattle Airport Marriott offers a good average airport hotel experience and I will not hesitate to stay here again.

The location is conveniently located by the airport. The shuttles run every twenty minutes from the hotel although when we were waiting to be picked up at the airport it took longer. Parking is $28 a day. The bathroom in our room had great lighting, and the shower had wonderful water pressure. The room overall was dark in my opinion. There is no overhead or recessed lighting, and at times I felt like I was in a dungeon. The art headboard was cool, and there was a cordless phone charger on the clock, but it doesn’t charge fast.
All in all not a bad stay, but if you’re planning on renting a car don’t get it until you’re ready to head out!

Not really what I would expect from a Marriott Property. Unfriendly staff at checkin. No information given no questions asked just here is you key. Had to ask for two. Atrium really just a waste of space without a pool that they obviously filled in to make a giant open area. Rooms were ok nothing special very clean. Hall ways were a little worn, some doors on the back side of hotel don't even shut all the way so no need to have a key card. No breakfast, no pool basically just a business man hotel for a stop over in Seattle. Day we were there they were brining in bus loads of people off of a cruise ship so the common areas were really full with people just waiting in line for their food and room assignments. Definitely should have chosen a different hotel in Seattle from the Bonvoy Family.

Dear jkweebs, Yes! Airport hotels are great for a visit before or after a flight as many of our guests attest to here and on our website. Regarding our website, the fact the pool was removed 2 years ago is clearly stated. Websites like Trip Advisor post visitor photos that they never remove and may not show current status. User tip: check hotel website to avoid the disappointment that leads to user dissatisfaction and making dubious comments. Thanks for staying!

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with my stay here.
Good: Clean rooms, nice decor
Bad: $35 a night for Valet (if you want to self park you have to wait till you check in and then go back out to your car with a key card so you can enter a locked lot). $20 for a double at the bar. Took 15 minutes to check in at 10pm at night. I called room service in the morning to order a ham and cheese omelette and was told I could only order the exact omelettes they had on the menu (seriously at $150 dollars a night I can’t order a ham and cheese omelette?). They have a huge empty atrium in the center of the hotel where they used to have pools and now is just a waste of space. This place feels like it used to be a nice hotel that has gone to seed but they are still charging prices like it is a luxury establishment. It isn’t. They leave a money envelope on the bedside table to tip the cleaning staff, if I am staying somewhere for numerous nights and the cleaning staff does a great job I absolutely tip them but I have never been to a hotel where the leave an envelope like I am expected to tip (especially when I spent less than 12 hours in the room), feels very tacky.
This Is the most disappointing Marriott I have ever stayed at with the most blatant money grabs.
I usually stay at the Courtyard Marriott when I come to Seatac airport. It is less expensive but for the value it is a way better establishment.

We stayed here one night before our flight. The lobby and hallways were dim, hot and stuffy. It was cooler outside than in. No ventilation. The atrium area is a very strange awkward uninviting space I think may be what used to be a pool area now filled in.
The restaurant was closed at 2:30pm when we went down to get lunch and so we ordered food from the bar area. They refused to seat our underage children and shrugged their shoulders when asked about any other food option in the hotel and pointed to the drinks at the vending machine. Finally we were told we could go out to the atrium area and order food as pick up and bring it over there to eat. Our calamari was pathetic, a handful of small scraps from the bottom of a frozen bag. The kids did not touch their crab chowder which is a small frozen ketchup cup size of lump crab dropped on top of a potato soup base to mix in ourselves. The staff just did not care.
The only good thing was the airport shuttle was on time and the driver was friendly and worked hard to keep his shuttle on time.
I would not recommend staying in an atrium facing room, it was so dark and claustrophobic. Although it seems they tried to make superficial cheap cosmetic updates to the rooms it all still seemed very outdated 1980’s with low ceilings, small cramped stuffy rooms and old slow rickety elevators.

We were living in Seattle Airport Marriot Hotel from 18 July 2020 to 25 July 2020 for 7 nights.
Unfortunately, there was no room cleaning and even throwing away the rubbish from my room for 5 nights!!!!!
Therefore, I asked the staff in the front office and she said that during the COVID Pandemic period, no room cleaning would be provided, such as: changing the beddings, cleaning the toilets, mopping the floor, and even throwing the rubbish from the rubbish bins.
The staff told me the next scheduled cleaning and changing my bedding should be 23 July 2020.
So , I asked the staff to give me new beddings sheets so that I was the only person to change the beddings for 2 queens beds on 20 July 2020.
This was the first time, as a hotel guest, to do room cleaning by myself!!!!!!!!!

Very questionable standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the hotel. Serious concerns about guest safety during times of COVID-19. I stayed in room 801. Spilled some water from a water bottled and wiped up the floor with a Kleenex. The Kleenex came back black. I requested the hotel to review this and move me to a clean room. I was moved to room 149 with a house keeper letting me in. With the housekeeper present I took a Kleenex, moistened it and repeated the process. The Kleenex was dark again. I then requested another room change. The Housekeeper went and mopped up the floor. I used again a Kleenex to just test the cleanliness and it came back again black.
The hotel staff took about 30 min each time to respond. The house keeper was grumpy. The guest services manager just gave me a lot of explanations arguing that there was disinfectant in the water and that I should not worry. The response of the hotel
In times of need for heightened cleanliness and hygiene, in times where the hotel industry cannot afford another dent in consumer confidence, a hotel and a hotel company should really be more concerned about this. No concrete actions were shared on how to improve this. I have requested that this be escalated at both the property and the corporate level. No-one seemed to respond to my requests, but just tried to sweep this issue under the rug...
(I stayed at a Hyatt Place - 3 days later. Not only was the hotel immaculately clean. The company even followed up with a detailed questionnaire about my impression of safety and hygiene levels at the property.... at least the competition got it right.... ).

Dear hsng79, We always appreciate feedback and endeavor to address any aspect of the Hotel which could improve the quality of our guest's visit. In this case, we have responded to you from both a property and corporate level multiple times. We have assured you the property is adhering to Marriott standards of cleaning and all COVID -19 CDC protocols. We have also apologized for any inconsistencies you may have encounter despite other comments on this site as well as others you have posted to complimenting the Hotel's cleanliness. Unfortunately, you are still displeased and the recounting of the details seems to vary with each posting. We take any critique seriously and are committed to upholding Marriott's reputation for service and standards. We also have worked diligently over the last year to successfully protect our guests and associates from COVID-19 by virtue of our enhanced cleaning protocols. At the end of the day, I am sorry that in spite of our efforts to do so you still feel we have not addressed your concerns.

Great choice near the Sea-Tac Airport - stayed twice during the month. Shuttle runs on a loop from downstairs at the pickup area and wasn’t overly crowded each time I took it. Check in experience was friendly and prompt with minimal wait.
Each room I had was updated, clean and comfortable if a little bit on the dark side. Comfortable bed and nice shower. Club lounge was small but staff super friendly and welcoming. Nice selection of items. Fitness area was superb - all brand new equipment in perfect working order.
Ate twice at the lobby restaurant. Prompt and friendly service and great food. In all, a perfect choice for a short stay by the airport. Highly recommend!!

We had an early morning booked flight but the weather was going to be that we may not have made it to the airport in time so we decided to stay at the Marriott the night before. Easy check-in, Great food and drinks at the bar, great service, the room was nice and clean and even had some extra help from the morning desk receptionist Steve Johnson who helped me in a pinch with some help I need it. Once again Marriott comes through with flying colors. You may pay a little more here but they are totally and completely worth it.

I checked into this hotel and they asked if I was parking overnight and I said yes. They told me just use the lot on the right once you go back out using your key card to get in - which I did. We parked in the lot and left the next morning (paid parking upon leaving). I checked my hotel charges and it was 30 something dollars more then I paid upon booking so I call the hotel and they said that they charged the parking .I told them I paid the machine to leave the parking lot ($20 flat -less than theirs). They started to argue with me saying why would I pay the lot if I already paid the hotel- nobody told me and it still charged me when I went to scan my key to leave so I assumed that's where I paid. She was argumentative and I asked to speak with the manager and she said she was the manager. Her name was Alexis. I told her I have the CC statement of being charged $20 and now my Marriott bill which had hte $28 plus taxes and fees so how can you be OK with double charging me? She said again it was my fault for paying twice and if I don't have a receipt (which I don't have because the machine did not print a receipt!). I have never had such a rude manager level person be so irrational. I came on to Trip advisor to see comments and saw someone else had a similar experience so BEWARE! I'm going to call my CC company to try to dispute the charges. Also, the room walls are so thin that I could hear CLEARLY the people next to me's tv as if it was in my room. Beware of this Marriott.

James,
While I can't comment on the the other properties, our property follows Marriott current standards for room cleaning which, is done only upon request. You can also just request additional towels, etc. Our restaurant offers a full buffet breakfast in addition to the menu.
Unfortunately Yes but it’s now a nice area to host a party and they upgraded the gym with the space
This is probably a late response and I don’t know if they have changed the rates but it use to be $8 a night. I returned my car the night before and took the shuttle to the airport
Thank you for your question. The hotel does not have washers and dryers for guest use. A same day (M-F) laundry valet service is offered.
