My boyfriend and I stayed here for our first weekend away together. We did have some noisy neighbors and the internet seemed to be overloaded and we were unable to connect to it (but this is to be expected on a holiday weekend with a very full hotel). The room was clean, the staff was helpful and friendly. All COVID guidelines were followed. And they are pet friendly which is a huge plus for us.

My family had a nice time at the Icicle Village Resort during the holiday weekend. As with most hotel rooms, the walls were pretty thin and we could definitely hear the neighbors who were very amorous with each other. Aside from that, it had good amenities and was close enough to the main town that we could walk and go explore the area.

If you're looking for a great place to get stoned on pot in the comfort of a room here, just place the DO NOT DISTURB sign on your door; management won't bother you. That's what the potheads in the room next to our room did. The smell of pot was so bad, we had to open windows not once, not twice, but three times to clear out the stench. Voiced concerns to staff all three times, but for all intents and purposes, we got nothing but lip service in return. After staying at Icicle Inn regularly for more than 20 years (and paying $750 for a two-night stay this time), it's farewell and goodbye. Never again. Posthotel, here we come!

The perfect location and amenities! We enjoyed our stay during COVID. Restaurants were not open for indoor dining but the condo/hotel offered our free breakfast “to go” style daily. We were impressed with the efforts made to accommodate us.
