The staff are very friendly and respectful. The rooms were recently renovated and very clean: however the bed seemed old (could feel the springs) Close to the hiway so if you like the window open you can hear traffic noise. It was extremely noisy in the evening with people playing music and fighting in the parking lot. Also parking is very limited. They do have a nice pool that is heated. In the room are just bars of soap no lotion, shampoo or anything else besides towels. No coffee in the room. Ok stay for a budget.

We choose this hotel because of free cruise parking. Motel staff friendly and helpful. Clean room. Surprisingly quiet despite close freeway location. Easy parking. Thankyou to the hotel for letting us park our car for our 8 day cruise.

Seattle was totally sold out, average hotel rooms on price levels of $600+ per day. So I found 6 Hotel. Actually a Motel. For a very low price you get a nice room with no luxury at all, as expected. But rooms are clean, towels and bed cloth are in good shape, if you overlook the holes burnt by cigarettes. There is no room service, but what to you expect..... The pool is nice, but much smaller than pictured (wide angle lens).

Terrible unfriendly desk clerk. The smallest rooms and most rundown Motel 6 we've ever stayed at. Most rooms are no smoking, but people just sit right outside their rooms and puff away, so everyone gets the ugly pleasure of their cigarettes too. State law says you need to be 25 ft from building to smoke, Motel 6 does not enforce state law.

We stayed at this model for three nights and had a pleasant stay.

Don't expect the Hilton when you book a Motel 6. It's in a different league.

It's just great value for money. Staying in the Seattle area is pricey and finding a decent motel for under $100 is hard and often even impossible.

Rooms are small but clean.
Beds are actually pretty comfortable.
We didn't use the pool because of the weather, but there is one.

Staff was friendly and helpful.
So a 4 out of 5 for us.

Love love love this hotel the staff are wonderful. Kathy and kelsey are the best. The rooms are nice size and love that they are pet friendly. The cleaning ladies are also extremely nice and make sure that you have anything that you may need. I like the fact that it is near 405 to get anywhere you may need to get to

Got a very smoky smelling non-smoking room with lots of cigarette burn holes in the comforters...Both of them. One thing that just stumped me was the ash tray in this Non-smoking room that had a no smoking sticker on the bottom of the ashtray. Really??!!

Went to Kirkland to visit family and to save a few bucks decided to try Motel 6 (We had heard some good reviews about Motel 6, in general) To be very blunt, this particular Motel 6 was well run down, shabby interior and exterior, no amenities worth sharing, a "NO TELL" motel atmosphere and attitude, mold and hair in the shower, teeny-tiny bath towels and a garbage truck emptied the dumpsters at 5:30 AM! We packed up and left by 6:30 AM. Tom Bodette may leave the light on but very little else is worth talking about. We will not be back nor will we recommend Motel 6 to any one, any time.

I've stayed at many hotels in my life, ranging from mom and pop to high end chain hotels. I've pretty easy to please, give me a clean room, clean shower, comfortable bed and I'm a happy camper.
This review will have both good things and not so good things.
First off, the price is right. In this particular area, it is the cheapest. Most hotels are $100+.
Secondly, I had a mostly good interaction with the receptionist. I say mostly, because you will find out later. But as far as check in goes, very nice. I was also given free Wifi code, and it worked, but had a habit of kicking my computer off of it. So, not overly helpful but nice effort.

Location was great, close to lots of things. The hotel room itself was very quiet, I didn't hear anything from any neighbor. I did however get woken up at 5:30am by semi trucks using their air brakes over and over. (maybe have some ear plugs on hand).

The room itself was very clean and had been updated. I found the bed to be firm, but comfortable.

Ok, the not so good. We went out for dinner and came back to find a highway of ants on an empty soda can. I was stunned. In all my life, I've never seen ants like this in any hotel I've ever stayed at. I followed their trail down, and they were coming from where the carpet met the wall. Clearly there is a major problem here. I was on the third floor. When I woke up the next morning, they had branched out and were on the desk and our clothes as well.

I went to check out and was going to mention it, but another gentleman who was ahead of me getting another night's stay said he woke up to his pizza box covered in hundred of ants. I confirmed what he said and told the guy at the counter that my room had them too.

I am pretty forgiving, however his reply really made me irritated. He didn't show an iota of remorse or concern and said "oh yeah, if you leave anything out they will come, it's summer". I'm sorry, but like I said, in all the hotels ive ever stayed in, I've never seen anything like this. If you are camping, or have food of ANY kind, don't keep it in the room. Again, we were on the 3rd floor so clearly there is an ongoing issue within the walls of the hotel.
I was not happy with the way our concern was brushed off either. Such a pity, it was so close to being such a great place to stay.

You have to pay $3.00 a day for WiFi. You pay every 24 hours in the office. This is very inconvenient. The staff was nice and place was clean. It is near the 405 highway which is a long way from Seattle. The area is full of trees and feels fresh and clean. We picked this motel as they do not charge for pets and our little dog travels with us. They have an arrangement with the nearby Denny's for a discount during your stay.
