Clean room with vinyl flooring, most hotel carpeting is gross so this was a nice change and smart since they allow pets to stay. Outer areas could be kept tidier and the staff needs to learn how to use they face mask (most of the time I saw staff they were using the masks as chin coverings, not over mouth and nose). They have signage about face masks but do not enforce even though this place is advertised for front line workers to use. Over all not bad and I enjoyed the room itself.

It has been a pleasurable experience to stay here since October of 2020. I have been living here with my 2 kids while transitioning us into a more stable housing environment. We have been treated very well and have enjoyed the staff as they have been kind and accommodating to us. I am a single Mother that came here after leaving my family home of 33 years due to a divorce that left us homeless and without a place to stay or live. Thanks to the moratorium in place until October 2021, we have been very fortunate to stay housed here and have utilized our local resources when available to meet our needs. VOA has helped with Emergency Rental Assistance and helped us to pay our rent up through the end of October 2021.
I was again approved in December to receive further assistance paying my past due rent plus any move-in costs to re-house us. I am still currently waiting for funding to become available. There has been open communication with the hotel staff informing them that funding would/will cover my balance due with weekly follows ups regarding the status of funds. They are gauranteed to receive this payment and have continually extended my reservation each month knowing this.
On Tuesday February 1st I was served with a 7 day notice to pay or quit the premises. There was not any communication regarding any issues with payment or the length of time it has been nor any notice given to me the changes that were made to my monthly reservation rate. Since 10/2020 I have been billed @ $56.00 per night when making a monthly reservation. I have received an outstanding bill for $8,750!!!??? How on earth could they do this to me and my family without any notice? They nearly doubled my rate to $89.99, $99.99 & even up to $120.00 per night and believe that is a reputable way to conduct their business? I barely have the means to support us at $56 per night and find it unethical of them to believe this is an honest amount for me to pay them. I have typically been billed at the Extended Perks Plus Rate which offers the lowest price when booking a monthly reservation when that discount was available. The ESA app also allows me to pick my discounts and apply them if there is a more affordable rate. I had no knowledge they would end up sticking me with a bill this absurd with zero discounts on top of it? After all I have been a guest/tenant for over 16 months and I qualify for it just as much as the next person! What an unfortunate future awaits me to find housing for us if this results in an eviction on my record. I feel it a justifiable reason to refuse to pay all or any portion of the balance due until it is adjusted and absolutely will not.
I would like to provide a more positive follow up rating after this matter gets resolved, if it does. Although it will be based upon the outcome. I will hope for the the best and will stay optimistic with the belief that all will be settled in a fair manner.

This was a very comfortable place to stay for 7 nights. It had a sofa and a recliner plus a table/desk and free wi-fi, and was very close to a small lake with a nice park and a Safeway. It lacked a chest of drawers, and the luggage rack was fixed to the wall, but was very clean at a reasonable price. I would stay there again.

This place has gotten so much better recently. The grounds have really been cleaned up and the room I had was recently renovated. The staff is wonderful as always, they’re so friendly and really care about their guests. Very family oriented. We love the new managers, they have done such a good job. Always a pleasure to stay here!

The staff here is excellent. The manager is here most days of the week. The front desk staff are always available to help with what you need at any time. If something goes wrong they are there to fix it right away. My room is cozy, I feel safe, and I’ve never had issues with noise or other tenants(and I’ve been here for three months). Washer and dryer work great. I always receive my packages that I order. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, maid service was always on point. Management even helped me out when my printer broke to ensure my documents weren’t lost. The WiFi isn’t the best , however it’s acceptable as long as you have patience.

We have been staying at the Extended Stay at Silver Lake in Everett, Wa. for years. It was never a 5 star hotel, but it was comfortable and quiet. Over the years we have seen a decline in the class of patrons and this last stay was out LAST. We were given a room with a damaged door that would not secure. We when we told the desk attendant she admitted that the door was busted and mumbled under her breath "I don't know why they keep renting that one out" (!) We were given another room but we had to wait over an hour as she had to set up the room HERSELF. They were on a skeleton crew and we would have had to wait hours for a housekeeper. As for the class of folks staying there.. there was a group of women rolling around the lobby and front entrance in office chairs, laughing and being loud. It appeared that people were "living" there, like a homeless shelter. Even the staff seemed like they had just been "released". I am not trying to be prejudice here, I am just saying by the actions and looks of folks both in and around the site, I felt unsafe and I felt my things left in the room during the day were unsafe. We will not be returning.

I have been staying at this location for the past six months, while waiting for permanent housing in Snohomish County. My housing situation was extremely dire to say the least, having lost my residence back in August of 2019. I finally landed at ESA in October, and have experienced very professional service, from the manager Terra and her co-worker JJ. Both of these individuals have gone beyond the norm in making sure my stay here has been pleasant and very comfortable. The room is quite nice, clean, safe and quiet, perfect for my current needs. Perfect!!!!

We have unfortunately been here about a year now. Due to financial, pandemic issues. However the staff is non judgmental. They treat us extremely nice. Management, maintenane, any issues is resolved quick. Management works very hard at keeping the place clear of druggies, despite the location.

I've stayed in many different hotels in the area and have been more pleased with my overall experience at the Extended Stay than any place else in the same price range. The staff is great and on numerous occasions gone above and beyond to meet my needs. The property is clean and nicely landscaped. Great location for people with pets and families due to the numerous grassy areas and sidewalk around the entire perimeter makes for a nice place to get some exercise. Would recommend to anyone needing an affordable place for a night or 2 or also for long term stays if needed.
