I stayed at the Cascade View for 34 days. Marianne and Bill are fabulous. I was in town for a Purna Yoga Teacher Training course. The studio is a mile from A Cascade View. Very convenient. I arrived at A Cascade View mid afternoon and hadn't eaten anything since very early morning. Marianne said I must eat something and directed me to where the studio was located which have nearby eateries. Very thoughtful and caring. The B&B is beautiful. The Rose room is very bright and cheery. Free wi-fi with a good connection. The breakfasts were delicious. Marianne did not duplicate a breakfast in 34 days. 34 days!! The eggs are fresh as can be as Marianne and Bill have live chickens. The breakfasts are organic. The grounds are also beautiful. Pink roses, red roses. Rose gardens.…
There are three rooms available. One is a suite with t.v., sofa, fireplace and patio, pivate bath. Another one has two twin beds and one has a queen. The last two do not have t.v., however a common room is available. The last two rooms would share a bath, however this would be great area for a family of 4. Area is very peaceful and quiet. Good beds. Plenty of food for breakfast. Owners do have a poodle the I enjoyed, but for non-animal lovers this could be a problem. Note: the bathroom for the non suites is in the hallway with the two rooms, however might be better if doorway would be at the start of the hall for privacy.
Maryanne and her husband made us feel right at home. We, also, met another couple there that made our stay even better!! I highly recommend this B&B. Draw back is that we thought that a car rental was near by and while the walk was doable, it was all uphill on the way back, which was hard if you have back problems. The rental place was closed when we went, so we had to walk back.
We just came back from our trip to Washington and loved the Cascade B&B. We had a very comfortable room in a lovely house, surrounded by beautiful gardens. She served delicious breakfasts, and she, her husband, and their cute little French Poodle were a pleasure. I just have to also mention that the shower in the bathroom was wonderful. I told my husband that we need to buy that shower head! I would definitely return when I'm back in the area.
Staying in this lovely home for three nights was an outstanding way to start our extended vacation in the Pacific Northwest. The couple who own and run this home are very personable, making you feel at home immediacy. The "rose" room where we stayed looked over the beautiful gardens and view of the back yard...very private and peaceful. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning cooked by the host. Her "ladies" provided the fresh eggs for one of the mornings and I enjoyed meeting them up close. The downstairs where our room was also has a den with a large television, walk out to a patio, refrigerator and even a work out machine if your ambitious.
