My wife and I just returned home from our visit to the Seattle area. We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at A Cascade View Bed and Breakfast. Marianne and Bill are marvelous hosts. Their home is very warm and comfortable, with plenty of space both inside and outside to sit and relax. The surrounding yard and garden is amazing. Marianne prepared a wonderful breakfast, different each morning that we were there. The home is located in Bellevue, with easy access to downtown Seattle. We loved visiting with Marianne and Bill each morning. Thank you Marianne and Bill for making us feel welcome and for your hospitality.

The A Cascade View is tucked away in a neighborhood in Bellevue. The B&B is surrounded by a small oasis of green. We stayed in the Garden Room. It is spacious, with a comfortable bed and nice siting area. It overlooks the beautiful garden that Marianne planted herself. Marianne is effervescent, warm and inviting. She and Bill made our stay a home away from home. We enjoyed the conversations with Marianne and Bill while eating the wonderful breakfasts. As we ate, we watched the hummingbirds, Juncos, and woodpeckers swarm the bird feeders on her deck. When we come back to Seattle, we will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the Rose room which looks out to an expanse of green lawn leading to a rose garden. This is framed by trees and bushes including 3 varieties of Japanese Maples, butterfly bushes, Hydrangea and more. (The roses are old roses with lovely scents). Behind are vegetable gardens, stone paths and benches for relaxing. Breakfast each morning was freshly made, including vegetables from the garden and eggs from the hens on the side of the house. While we were there, this included eggs with spinach and mushrooms, fresh fruit and, one morning, lemon pancakes. (Delicious) The hostess, Marianne, started this B&B 27 years ago, when her husband, Bill, was a sea captain and often gone for 6 months at a time. Bill is now retired. Both Marianne and Bill are delightful, friendly people with wonderful stories and knowledge. We had a queen sized bed, our own bathroom with a Slate shower and good, strong water pressure in the shower. There is a separate lounge area for guests which includes a television, games, books, a microwave , tea and coffee, and a small refrigerator. For dog lovers, which I am, there is also, Jasper. He is a beautiful, silver miniature poodle. He is a joy to be around, full of play and affection but well behaved. We hope to stay here again and agian

My wife and I stayed four nights in mid September 2018. We stayed in the Rose room which is very nice and has a very comfortable bed. The common room with tv, games, exercise machines, books, brochures, minifridge, and sink is great. The shower in the bathroom that Rose room guests use is fantastic. Marianne is a marvelous innkeeper. Her husband Bill is a fine fellow and even their friendly miniature poodle makes one feel that you're among friends.

I had a wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast. Marianne was a gracious and generous hostess while I was in town visiting family. The B and B is located at the end of a quiet lane. The breakfasts were delicious, and I was especially touched by Marianne's offer to have a full breakfast ready for me early in the morning (6:30) of my departure.

A lovely B and B nestled on an acre of woods and garden in Bellevue, very close to Kirkland. Quiet and away ( but just minutes) from business and pleasure in Bellevue/Kirkland area. Delicious breakfasts and close to walking trails.

This is a private setting. The house is set back in the woods off a two lane road. Both rooms have a wonderful view of the back garden full with bird feeders and planters. On clear days, yes, the mountains are visible. The rooms are immaculate. This is the place to stay in Bellevue. Very conveniently located to all attractions throughout the area. My grand kids are in Bellevue, and this is where I plan to stay.

I stayed at the Cascade View for 34 days. Marianne and Bill are fabulous. I was in town for a Purna Yoga Teacher Training course. The studio is a mile from A Cascade View. Very convenient. I arrived at A Cascade View mid afternoon and hadn't eaten anything since very early morning. Marianne said I must eat something and directed me to where the studio was located which have nearby eateries. Very thoughtful and caring. The B&B is beautiful. The Rose room is very bright and cheery. Free wi-fi with a good connection. The breakfasts were delicious. Marianne did not duplicate a breakfast in 34 days. 34 days!! The eggs are fresh as can be as Marianne and Bill have live chickens. The breakfasts are organic. The grounds are also beautiful. Pink roses, red roses. Rose gardens. Vegetables gardens. The grounds are very peaceful, relaxing and quiet. Marianne and Bill are great hosts. When I met Marianne and Bill I felt like I've known them my entire life. They are very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. They are also very attentive to their guests. At times I could hear Marianne playing the piano which was delightful. Without question I would stay there again.

Thank you for your very kind remarks about our Bed & Breakfast. We certainly love presenting a warm and welcoming place for our guests, and really love that you found the gardens relaxing and peaceful. I find cooking to always be fun and interesting for me so I'm delighted that you liked my breakfasts. And of course, we love having our own chicks because the eggs are truly delicious. We enjoyed having you stay with us, and look forward to seeing you again at another yoga teacher training session.

There are three rooms available. One is a suite with t.v., sofa, fireplace and patio, pivate bath. Another one has two twin beds and one has a queen. The last two do not have t.v., however a common room is available. The last two rooms would share a bath, however this would be great area for a family of 4. Area is very peaceful and quiet. Good beds. Plenty of food for breakfast. Owners do have a poodle the I enjoyed, but for non-animal lovers this could be a problem. Note: the bathroom for the non suites is in the hallway with the two rooms, however might be better if doorway would be at the start of the hall for privacy.
