I stayed at this Navy Lodge while attending a class for work for the past week. I had a corner room at the end of the building, which was very peaceful and was right across from the exit. The room was recently renovated and it looked great! I was very impressed with the changes that had been made. I love the fact that there was no carpet, so if you have any pets or kids that is a plus for cleaning up messes. The room provided everything I needed for my business trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful if you needed anything. The Commissary and NEX were right around the corner, so everything was close if I wanted to grab anything I forgot to bring. The alarm clock had two charging ports for phones. The room is the perfect size for a single person on travel or couples traveling together. I will definitely stay there again next time I'm in the area.

We were resently traveling from Rhode Island to Florida. I had emailed weeks before wondering about availability. Paige returned my email promptly and explained since it was transfer season available rooms for leisure travel would be determined on the day of booking. We waited until we were a few hours away called and spoke with Kim. Kim had one 2 bedroom suite available which we booked. We when we arrived the room was ready and exactly what we needed for the night. If in the area again we won't hesitate to book another room at this Navy Lodge. When we walked into the room we really felt we scored big time.

After being notified by our son that his wife may have gone into early labor for our second grandchild, we made a short notice trip to Virginia Beach to assist with babysitting our first grandchild. Fortunately, we were able to get a room at the Little Creek Navy Lodge, albeit for only one night.
The Lodge staff worked with us as we continually had to extend our stay while our grandson not only didn't arrive early, he was born a week late.
We've never experienced in dozens of military-accommodation stays a more pleasant, professional, polite staff--from the front desk to housekeeping to the breakfast attendant. The facility and rooms are well maintained and comfortable. This Lodge is excellent across the board and we look forward to future stays.
We cannot praise or thank the staff enough for the quality of our stay and the genuine care they expressed. Thank you so much.

Costs are within Per Diem rates and under local rates off base. Employees are friendly and first impression upon walk-in match pictures shown on trip advisor. Rooms are very clean and DO NOT smell of any odor. Definitely would recommend this hotel for Space-A families or Rotator travelers. About 30-35mints from NAVAL AMC terminal.

We visited early August 2023. My first impression was the lodging was cute and very affordable. Upon entering the room, we were met with two queen beds, nicely made. The floor was a mixture of carpeting and vinyl. The carpets were stained and in need of cleaning. The vinyl floors were dirty and in need of sweeping and mopping as it was evident that the previous occupants hair was left behind. The bathroom toilet was cleaned, but again there was hair from the previous occupants around the floor surrounding the toilet. The same hair was found clinging to the shower curtain. I also found hair on the bed cover. I requested change of sheets which were immediately accommodated. The front desk staff was nice and polite. It should be noted this is a pet friendly facility which I wish I had known before booking. I would not recommend this place for the above reasons.

Ms. Pam, thank you for the feedback regarding your recent stay! This is very unfortunate, and we do apologize for not meeting your expectations! We will be addressing the cleanliness issue with our housekeeping department to ensure this does not happen in the future! For reference, all Navy Lodges are 100% pet friendly as advertised on our website however our sister brand, Navy Gateway Inn and Suites, only has a few select pet rooms. This may suit your needs better for future visits to the Hampton Roads Area. Again, we apologize for missing the mark and wish you safe travels!

Didn't see this property listed which is around the corner from the Navy Lodge. I did not stay in the Navy Lodge, but wanted to put a shout out to Drexler in case there's no room at the Navy Lodge like we experienced.

The best part of the Drexler was the beds. I assume they are the same as the Navy Lodge. Better than any bed we've slept in including high end five star hotels. Rooms are sparkling clean and the bathrooms look as if they are brand new.

The room we have was 56 dollars per night and a bargain without the high taxes and room charges of other hotels which seem to be like 20 percent extra in private hotels.

The base has an incredible large NEX exchange and other amenities. Beautiful location.

My wife and I just drove from here to VA Beach and paid for parking at the best location the Hilton in their public lot for 2 dollars per hour or 10 dollars maximum. They had live music in Neptune Park directly adjacent to the Hilton.

This is the way to do a beach trip to VA Beach. Just head out of Little creek onto Shore drive and a half hour later you are at Neptune Park on VA Beach. A fantastic and cheap vacation.

This hotel is available to Military Families and Service person on the Navy Base Little Creek. They had the best beds I have found in a hotel (very comparable to ones at a Five Diamond Hotel we stayed at in DC).

In addition, the room was clean, it had a kitchenette, and the rooms were very well insulated and quiet. The ice machine broke while we were there and it was fixed within hours.

The only negative thing I can say is that the remote control didn't work right. They apologized and told me they were getting new TV's, but that they hadn't arrived yet. Since I never choose a hotel for the TV, it was a MINOR inconvenience.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!! A great experience for the price.

Excellent room Clean, modern and nice ambiance. Reminded me of a civilian mid-upper tier chain. If you are not local you will have to go to gate 3 to enter.

Ok, this is not your typical old base military quarter’s type room converted to a hotel, this place is like an almost average top of the line hotel. Very spacious, two queen beds in the room and the pillows were so comfortable. Full kitchen with cookware and other basic utensils. Flat top stove. Flat screen TV, two dressers, one comfortable chair, and two nice chairs for small eating table, clean looking carpet, central air unit that works excellent. The place looks really great.
Bathroom/tub has separated door from bathroom sink area. The tub was clean, nice flow for shower water. We pack our own towels, but had no need for them. The towels here were soft and nice quality. I can't stand places where the towel fill like sandpaper or dollar store bought.
Lobby very contemporary look with neat furniture. Breakfast is available but we decided to cook our own because we did not want to get up early, so I can't give details about breakfast. Many restaurants in the area, 7-11 about 1/2 mi from gate 5. It is the 4th of July weekend and the cost was $225.00 check in Thur and out on Sun. If you have access to the base to stay at this place you won't be disappointed.
OK, I gave 4 stars because when I woke up in the morning I noticed there was sand on the bed sheet I did not feel it the night before with being tired and all. I scrapped some on a white sheet of paper to be sure, and we did not go to the beach our first day. So was the sheet changed from the last guess or what????
Best pillows I have ever slept on in any hotel, good home feeling.
One more small nice feature is a TV channel list on the dresser, crazy how some hotels think you're supposed to guess the channels, especially with cheap remotes that done have a guide button.

You need to have a current military id. For eservations I suggest calling hotel directly. I have website and 800 number not that helpful.

Thank you for your inquiry. We do allow you to sponsor guests but you would be responsible for getting them on and off base. You would need to be there at check-in in order to sponsor them. Otherwise, we do not require you to stay with the guests at all times and we do not have a limit to how many guests you may sponsor. We hope to see you soon!

There is not a pool at the Navy Lodge, there is a pool on base though, the gator pool, open seasonally. Thank you for your inquiry.
